If you were a serial killer, what would you keep as "trophies" of your victims?
Let's pretend that I'm a hunter of serial killers instead, and as I catch them, I cut off one of their hands to keep in formaldehyde. Then as they're rapidly bleeding to death, but with one hand firmly in place for fingerprint identification, I anonymously dial 911, as I walk away with my gruesome trophy. If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off. And I'd be glad to...

We have blacks, hispanics, Jews, Asians, etc. Its okay to be proud to be of these races, but why is it not socially acceptable to be proud to be Aryan, let alone even consider yourself to be one? Why those who call themselves Aryan considered racists?
It might be because the Aryan Nations is a racist, anti-semitic, white supremacist hate group. Or it could be because the definition of Aryan (according to Webster) is a person belonging to, or supposed to be a descendant of the prehistoric peoples who spoke this language. Aryan has no validity as an ethnological term, although it has been so used, notoriously and variously by the Nazis, to...

It's human nature to excuse what we're told by someone we love, i.e., surely he didn't mean that. If he told you you're not right for him, and it took him 10 years to come to that conclusion, you've been robbed of a decade of your life's possibilities and now dumped. Is that love? To quote Ms. Turner, what's love got to do with it?

How will you remember Ted Kennedy?
Despite his many flaws which are easily attacked by people of lesser stature and narrow views, Senator Edward Kennedy was one of the best leaders in American history.
While for many years his life was a mess, and I certainly didn't agree with how he lived his early life, I believe he ultimately transcended his party boy label to become a truly great American statesman. He did...

If you knew that a black guy was being kind of "tight" with his money, would you ask him why he was being so "NIGGARDLY?" (A Florida teacher asked that of a black student and was almost fired, until folks learned that stingy = niggardly.)
We live in a racially charged society. It could be argued that racial relations in this country are as bad as I've seen them in my lifetime. I worked in education for over 25 years, five of them at a university in N.M. that is 97% Hispanic. A teacher is charged with teaching, Mensan, and any teacher worthy of the title, has sensitivity for his/her charges. So here's a few...

Why does god not want to be seen? This has allways been a mystery to me. If he is the creator of the universe what has he to fear from being seen? I would really like to know.

And look in to space; you shall see Him walking in the cloud, outstretching His arms in the lightning and descending in rain.
You shall see Him smiling in flowers, then rising and waving His hands in trees."

Why do many people resent intellectuals?
In today's society it doesn't take much to be considered intellectual. Correct grammar and pronunciation and the fact you actually read books because you enjoy reading will get you that label. If people do resent 'intellectuals', it's because they think that person makes them look stupid, when it hasn't anything to do with the other person at all.

Just because someone is intimidated by you doesn't necessarily make you intimidating. Maybe you have higher standards or above average intelligence. Did you ask why they find you intimidating? Seeking the lowest common denominator to fit in might bring you a boyfriend, but would it be a boyfriend who will make you happy and celebrate you for who you are?

If you saw someone shoplifting from a shop would you tell the staff that worked there?
That's a case by case call. If I saw someone who looked hard up stealing food in a grocery store, I probably would mind my own business. But if I saw someone try to lift a diamond ring from a jewelry store, yeah, I'd bust 'em right there. It's easy for people to point fingers at the desperate and blame them for their situation, but in these times, there's a thin line...

It's the base of all politics these days and it isn't anything new. Keeping us divided, Republican and Democrat, black and white, rich and poor, etc., etc., etc., serves the purpose of those that want it all. They don't mind one bit if we hate and kill each other, and they're confident that the majority of us will fall into it.

Do you think males are more prone to commit suicide because we hold our emotions inside? Or is it something external?
According to suicide.org, in the U.S. in 2005, 25,566 men committed suicide and 2,086 women. A whopping difference. It might be because women can talk about anything with their girlfriends and men, as you asked, hold emotions (and discussing them with their friends) inside.

Did you know Margaret Sanger (founder of US birth control movement, Planned Parenthood) in her "Plan for Peace," outlined her strategy for eradication of those she deemed "feebleminded" (the mentally ill)~Birth Control Review, April 1932, p. 107
Anti-family planning activists continue to attack Sanger, who has been dead for over 30 years, because she is an easier target than the unassailable reputation of the contemporary family planning movement. However, attempts to discredit the family planning movement because its early 20th-century founder was not a perfect model of early 21st-century values is like disavowing the Declaration of...

I have yet to see one Republican on this site admit that Bush (WHO IS STILL OUR PRESIDENT) has been unfair and ineffective ~ even though most of the leaders of their party have removed themselves from him. Why should Obama supporters admit to a speculative future when Bush supporters can't admit to the last 8 years and the destruction its caused?

The false coloring of Obama's early education gained considerable steam during a "Fox and Friends" round table on Jan. 19, 2006. Host Steve Doocy said that Obama spent "the first decade of his life raised by his Muslim father as a Muslim and was educated in a madrassa." Those are the so-called “hard cases” for abortion that even some pro-lifers agree should be allowed. According to some groups supporting 48,...
