I'm trying to decide if I should buy a crockpot. Do you have one, and if you do, do you use it often? Good question....they are not very expensive and come in very handy...especially in the fall/winter. You simply start something out in the morning and by 4 or 5 P.M. it's ready and delicious. Slow cooking really makes things taste great and you can go out for the day and come back and it's all ready. I love mine and use it a lot. Also, easy to operate.

Mine is always tough or dry? Help please.... If you buy a pork tenderloin, marinate it for two days in lemon, garlic and soy sauce. For first 45 mins of baking put foil over it and then bake it slowly at about 325F for 1 1/2 hrs. You can add a sauce if you like. Buy a little pork gravy and add some white wine to it delicious!

Ground beef does not have a long shelf life. It's not worth getting sick over. Is there a difference in American and British humour? Definitely...we laugh at different things. Once when my family and I went to a Bond movie in London in 1998, we laughed at different things than most others, who were from England, although I really can't tell you what they were.

I make banana nut bread often this time of year; however, I have a problem. I end up having to overcook it on the outside in order to get the center done. I've tried lowering the temperature, covering with foil, using larger pan, etc...any suggestions? What you are saying is true. It takes about an hour or longer no matter what any recipe says. Also, I cook it at 325 - 350 degrees so that you can cook it a little longer without burning the outside. I don't mind if the outside is a little browned though. What are some outdoor plants/flowers or vegetables that are fairly easy to take care of? Geraniums(full sun), begonias(full sun). A great border flower (part shade) are impatients and very colorful.
