if it rolls foul in the infield it is a strike. if it gets past 1st or 3rd it is a fair ball.

Guess a word having all the vowels in it.

The shortest and most common word I found that meets your criteria is "facetious". "Facetiously" also contains the vowels in the right order and even has a 'y' at the end as an added bonus.

As in the day of Jesus' birth? Supposedly it is around the middle of march judging by the stars n stuff. Dec 25th was a massive pagan holiday, it was chosen so it would be easy when the pagans were being converted to Christians.
