How do you stop a migraine? I have a horrible one and i have taken specific medicine, have drunk water and still, its really pissing me off. You can't but drinking more water might help if you can keep it in your stomach. Avoid foods that can trigger migraine, nuts, sugar, chocolate, yeast etc. If you can't get rid of it go to a hospital and ask them to give you an injection.

Should I be a little bit paranoid about taking acetaminophen for a common headache remedy especially if it is extra strength? I would not recommend any pain medication for a common headache after 2 of my friends on separate occasions nearly died after taking over the counter medications. One took an aspirin that they were highly allergic to and the other took neurofen and ended up with an dangerously high heart beat. So, in answer to your question, I would recommend drinking lots of water to rehydrate the body.
