Other things that will ruin a water heater are the pressure release valves. So when you're replacing a water heater make sure to have that looked at too.

What's the dumbest way you've ever injured yourself? The olympics were a bad influence on me as a kid and being the neighborhood daredevil I decided one day to try polevaulting in the backyard. Needless to say that one ended badly. As I was running the broomstick I was using bounced off up my shoe and ended up hitting me in the left eye.

(aka skoal, copenhagen, tiberwolf, etc.) Most users acknowledge that spitting and/or swallowing is gross, but there must be some draw other than the nicotine fix that drew them in initially. Any takers? Because it gives you more nicotine than cigarettes. Also I usually chew Camel Snus which you actually don't have to spit while chewing.
