Usually XP uses between 500 MB and 1000 MB total depending on such things as how many windows are open. Someone crashed into my parked car. Their insurance co. say it is too expensive to repair and have offered me $3000 less than what I paid for it 3 months ago. I live in Australia. What can I do about this? In the U.S., we could take them to small claims court without an attorney. Attorney fees could quickly eat up part or all of that $3,000!

It would be highly doubtful you could take more than 2 Gb. If you are running Vista, I would say try to get 2 Gb. XP does well enough with 1 Gb. I wouldn't buy 2 x 2 Gb. because you will probably be wasting your money. RAM helps up to a point, but that slow CPU will end up being a bottle neck.

It is controversial these days with some saying 9 and 3, and others saying 8 and 4, or surprisingly even 7 and 5 . Airbags are part of the concern with 10 and 2 as your hands can theoretically be flung 100 mph at your face if you are in a collision, making you quite the heavy hitter.

I had fallen off the weights for a few months and lost about 1/2". It took me about three months to get it back. Yes, you can build faster, but you also increase risk of injury.

I do 333 sit ups three or four times a week, and that is definitely not enough to get my abs. even close to where I would like them to be. I'm doing a tire rotation. I took the lug nuts off the tire but the tire still wont come out, no matter how hard I try. PLEASE HELP! I have had this happen three times the last few years on different cars! It's very frustrating! Putting weight on the tire with the lug nuts loose, and then turning the steering wheel did NOT work any of these times! Trying to rock the car sideways did NOT work. It depends on what year, and model car you have, the total miles, and the types of problems you have been having. I would guess you have something like a Dodge, not a Honda or Toyota. It is almost always better to buy a nice vehicle a few years old as someone else has taken the depreciation hit.

I knew one who was working as a security guard a number of years ago as there wasn't much steady work. If you like that type of thing, I would use that as one of the main influences. I accidentally deleted some very important photos from my Canon E0S 400D Digital camera without saving them anywhere else. Data Recovery software says it can only work if recognising it as 'mass storage' instead of a camera, how do I do that? At the other end of the spectrum, the most effective thing the average person could do to reduce their carbon footprint is to go vegan. Going vegetarian would be another step down. I think that the term "meat eater" is very negative and I prefer the term omnivore. Which term do you prefer, and do you think that using one over the other hurts or helps the cause for vegetarianism? Omnivore gives the illusion of being more civilized. I would add a third choice of animal killer as the most accurate description, which of course helps the cause for a more ethical diet (vegetarian).

Health-wise, for one example, we have very good cholesterol readings. It does make life tougher as it is a selfish omnivore based world, and in general everything food-wise is set up for their lower level of ethics towards animals.

I had to completely restore my computer and download itunes again. How do I get the songs back that were on itunes before? You must re-load them onto your computer from whatever you used (such as an external hard drive) as a backup source for this expected event. I got three dental implant yesterday...anyone else hace any? i have been up since 4 am i cant sleep my mouth hurts so bad I don't have any, but am wondering what the current price is. Did they run about $7,500 for the three?
