About me:	I'm an Archaeologist/Historian. Recently finished my Masters and working to complete my PHD. I have specialized in two very different (but surprisingly related areas) in my Archaeological and Historical Work - Military and Religious topics. These are meshing a lot more frequently, particularly given that a lot of my work lately has focused on Mithraism in the Roman Empire.. Some very odd side hobbies. I study, model, and collect information on obscure armored vehicles; I'm a collector of the great Pulp Adventure/Fantasy stories of the 1900s through about 1945; historical miniatures gamer. Enjoy a good strategic boardgame, too! My wife and friends accuse me of having an interest in everything from 'Adam to Atom'... they're probably right... I really do need to get a life... But I digress. Doesn't mean I'm smarter than any of the other individuals here, but I have studied a very wide variety of socio-cultural and military historical topics, and I think this is a wonderful forum to share information that may otherwise go wasted. Always fun to talk to folks about the things that thrill you, wouldn't you agree? Look forward to sharing and learning here at Answerbag!
