Yes because he had my vote and history was made, but anxious because we all are taking chances on the candidates we vote for, regardless of his race, and political party, we don't know what the future holds and either candidate (in this case Obama) has big expectations to meet.

I had many happy reactions, crying being the last once I got over the initial shock. I'm also hoping that the man I voted for is going to be all that I expect, and that he does what he says he'll do. So I'm still grounded and realistic about how unsure the future is for us right now.
I cried mostly because I never thought I'd see this. At least not this soon.

Democrats, do you plan on rubbing Obama's victory in a Republican's face tomorrow?
No. The fact that they lost ought to be satisfaction enough for those who like to gloat. There are too many
bigger issues at hand to be laughing in someones face.
It's funny though because unlike McCain's supporters, no one booed when Obama honored McCain during his speech. I think that says alot in itself.

I just broke up with my BF but there`s this guy that i really like... Do you think it`s OK if i start dating again after a week of break up?
It's okay because at least you broke up rather than cheat, but it would be cruel to your ex if he was good to you. I don't think that moving on quicker (in reference to other answers) is a good excuse though. If you're leaving him for someone else then you've already moved on. Good luck though, ultimately I say do what makes you happy and be sure of your decision.

yes and no, I don't take over the bed or snore or anything really, but my husband, (who is very large), rolls over and pins me down about tree times every night in addition to snoring for his inhale and humming for his exhale. So it's difficult for him to sleep with me because I wake him up to move very often throughout the night!

Yes, it's happened to me too. I saw a special on this on TV, they were saying that our bodies create a chemical that sort of paralyzes us during sleep. And sometimes we wake up when the chemical has'nt worn off yet. I have no idea how to add links or anything so I'm afraid I can't provide resources. NO! You're not wrong, she's only a girlfriend, not your wife so she has absolutely no input on your relationship or involvement with your mother. And for her to think that helping your SEVENTY THREE year old mother 4/5 times a month is too much is so rediculous and selfish and I personally could'nt see myself getting serious with someone like that. All the best! :)

No, if I know the answer to the question or it's appealing to me I don't mind answering it and giving points even if I know it's just for the points and they don't give back. I really don't think it's that serious. And so what if you can google it, some AB'rs just like to interact with other members and there's nothing wrong with that.

At my job there is a very nice married couple. The husband sent me an email confessing he had a crush on me and was just trying to clear his conscience. This makes things extremely awkward for me around him and his wife. What should I do?
Sorry to hear you're in such a predicament. I think you should avoid him as much as you can, don't even speak to him unless it's job related and absolutely necessary, if he's with his wife, don't act strange and make sure you pay most attention to her.
Keep the e-mails incase she gets suspicious, then she'll know why you were so uncomfortable around them.

Why do men when they already have a girlfriend look at other girls in magazines is their girlfriend not good enough?
I agree that it's mostly admiration of beauty, and I think that women do it just as well. Unless he's being obsessive, creepy or anything over the top, I don't see anything wrong with it. If I am going to feel threatened, it would be by the women he looks at in person and only if he's staring for too long or turns his head in passing, because then he's disrepsecting me....

Your thoughts on Cyber school vs. Public school for our children? I just put my oldest two in Cyber school and they LOVE it! The Public school is outraged at me for making this decision for my kids. How do you feel about the two schools?
I don't have a preference because I don't know much about cyber schools, but you know your children best and you made that decision for a reason wich,by the way, is of no concern to the public school. So although I feel both schools have their pros and cons, in your case I'd go with cyber school simply beacuse you did. :)

It depends on how often you shower and how many towels you own, I change every two to three days. Going two weeks won't exactly kill you but washing it out at least once would'nt either. The only way I'd find it disgusting was if your friend were using your towel! Offer it to her, maybee she'll leave you alone! :)

My husband and I want two more children in a year or two (hopefully boys) and we're already arguing over circumcision. I want it, he does'nt. Who can pull rank on this? Is this a man thing that I should leave up to him?
I feel very strongly about it, but if it's one of those father son moments I don't want to mess with that either.
BTW I know it's rediculous when we may not even have boys or get pregnant, but we don't have anything better to do!!! That's marriage for you!
Answer to:
What is up with younger kids (2-5) that scream and misbehave in the store. Is it an age thing or is it the parents?
A big part of the screaming is an age thing, most toddlers are learning a sense of self and simply like to disagree just because they "can" but disagreeing and screaming are two different things. The location is %90 the parents in my opinion.
excluding children with mental disabilities who can't help it

My daughter is 19 months old. I have been trying to potty train her. When I ask her if she has to go potty, she runs over to it and sits down without a fuss. We really haven't had any progress. Although she understands the words, is 19 months too young?
no, but she's clearly well on her way. Every child learns at thier own pace and she seems to be doing about average. She's fine.
Have you put her in panties yet? If not try that, It's messy in the beginning, but she'll start recognizing the sensation once she's wet herself a few times.

If you were stranded somewhere, like on an island, with no apparent food and water sources, would you stay there and hope to be rescued, or try to get away and possibly die in the attempt?
I'd stay because I can't swim, and even if I could I'd be too afraid of bieng savagely killed ( or even touched for that matter) by ocean critters!! There will probably be beasts on the island as well but I'm a better runner! :)

I think I do the pretend listening more often though, and I'm probably good at it because I keep attracting people who love to do all the talking!!

I honestly don't know. I would like to say I'd forgive them accident or not because I may be the one who accidentally kills a child (God forbid) and that's the christian thing to do, but I'll never know unless ( God forbid) it happens. Same goes for seeing them.

You're out shopping and you see someone spankingtheir child. Do you leave it alone or do something?
Well first your question is assuming that everyone agrees that spanking is wrong wich is clearly untrue. But to answer that I would also leave it alone unless it was abusive.
It's a relief to see how hany people believe in spankings because questions like these have made me afraid to spank my children in public. But it also helped me come up with more discreet ways to do what I (rarely)...

She's blessed to have you!! (would you talk to my husband??) lol
Just give her some time on the weekend or your off day so she can rest up or get away for a minute, once she's completely healed from the baby you would'nt have to do as much of those other things you do to help because she will be better adjusted to having little man around while taking care of the house.

Yes it's possible, my mother did't have favorites but my father said I was his favorite (even though he was'nt there for any of us) it just made me think even less of him for making my siblings feel bad and putting me in an uncomfortable position,I resented him for that. You need to leave him, this affects your baby before and after he/she is born. What exactly is the boundary between having a very close female friend and actually having feelings for her?
If you have to ask that question then you already have feelings for her because you put just that much thought into it. Other than that I would have to say that the boundry would be when you even slightly envy other males around her, or when you feel a little possesive (like she's already yours)when other males approach her.

This is a situation where advice may make it worse. No one can tell you how to feel or how he feels, just be willing to deal with the consequences of your decision. It is very hard to regain trust and it takes a long time, you have to decide if your relationship is worth that effort. good luck

We're not all athletes. What is something that could make you an Olympic champion, if the category existed?
I'd have a gold medal in marathon listening...I tend to attract friends (and strangers)who talk ALOT!! I actually injoy listening most of the time but it's nice to bet a word in at least once an hour!!!

Did you ever fall so in love with someone that you wish you'd never met them?
yes three times, love really is blind because if you did'nt love them so much you could see things for what they really are. You see what you want to see, and anything negative or potentially devastating you don't even entertain the thought.

Answer to:
How can you get a hot woman to like you when you're fat? Is it possible for a hot girl to like a fat guy? Why or why not?
1. You can't make anyone like you no matter what size you are.
2. Yes it is verry possible because I'm married to a big man and I'm very hot (if I do say so myself!!)Plus you'll see it quite often if you pay attention.
3. It's possible because not everyone cares about looks. Some people actually are interested in YOU.
Honestly I have to say that you clearly...
