Their paycheck will go into their bank by direct deposit. They will get an Eagle Cash card that goes through the U.S. Treasury to their bank and works as a cash card. They can take money from their bank account and put it on the card at kiosks in theatre. The card is accepted at the PX and all of their approved vendors, and you don't have to worry about anyone getting your bank account...

No exercise can burn fat from one place, your body doesn't work that way. You have to burn fat all over. That means eating fewer calories and burning more. Any cardio that gets your heartrate up and makes you sweat will do the trick. To help speed up the process, add some weightlifting exercises. More muscle burns more calories.

I had something along those lines of expectations early on. Then she took a week to go see her family, and I stayed home with the kids. It gave me a huge appreciation of what her life is like at home. I recommend an experience like that to any couple.

The biggest one I see is that when you marry someone you stand up in front of your friends, and family, and for the religious- God, and make your most solemn promise to love and care for the other person so long as you both shall live. If your word is of any value, this is a big deal.

Are Navy Master at Arms currently being deployed to aid combat troops in iraq and afghanistan? What is their average time spent on the ground? Would a MA fresh out of boot and school be deployed to iraq if married and didnt volunteer?
Yes, there are quite a few of them here. 6 months or 1 year orders, most 1 year. Odds aren't in favor of it, most of the MAA's are a bit more senior. But you could get tagged for an IA out of your first command, so don't rule it out. More likely is doing a 1 year between your first and second commands.

Body count. In the last six months. Chicago - 292 killed (murdered) Iraq - 221 Chicago is a combat zone. Who is in charge? The leadership in Illinois. And they are led by Senator Barack Obama. How can he fix America when he can't fix Illinois
I don't support Senator Obama, but I dislike messed up information.
292 murders in Chicago is a drop in the bucket for Iraq. The 221 mentioned are troops. That would be more equivalent to 292 cop killings in Chicago. That would be war, and the civilian death toll would be as insane as it is here.

I am 15 years old and I'm using 30lbs dumbbell, is working out 1 hours a day is going to affect my height growth? because i've only growth 1-2 cm per year and i think i'm not growing anymore.
Eat properly and get enough sleep. The weights aren't going to mess you up. There's a reason they call them "growth spurts." My uncle didn't grow at all in high school, but added 4 inches freshman year in college. BTW don't do the same exercises with that dumbell every day. Your muscles need a day or two to recover if you want them to grow.
Answer to:
What is the best technique of weight lifting with 4.55kg weights?
If you're trying to work your biceps, you're better off doing pullups or chinups than curls with those. You could use them for one-legged squats or lunges to work you legs also.
Answer to:
I am 14 years old and i hv started lifting dumbbells of 2kg.Will it affect my hieght?i excersice for only 4 times a day.

Answer to:
How can you build biceps and pectorals without weights
Pushups and chinups/pullups. Do 3 sets of each as many as you can do. Every other day or every third day will give time for you to recover. Once you can do 50 pushups per set, do them with your feet up on a step or box, eventually move up to a chair. If you can't do more than 1 or 2 pullups at first, try doing them with a resistance band or bungee helping you up.

We are a military family with poor credit but great rental history. We are active duty and receive a basic housing allowance allocated for rent. If we move out of military housing, will landlords rent to us despite our credit situation?
If you go through the housing office, they usually have a list of friendly renters and agencies. Many of which even lower or waive deposits for members referred by housing. If you bank with Navy Federal (open to all services), they will guarantee your deposit with some utilities so you don't have to front the cash. Additionally, most agencies around a base are familiar with working with...

The wedding and initial reception were small (50) over the objections of my parents. As a compromise, they held a second reception near their home and we went on our way to our honeymoon. Huge BBQ with 350-400 guests, I knew maybe half.

Surgery, anything else is false advertising and unhealthy. But if you don't mind unhealthy, giving yourself food poisoning or dysentary should do it. Just try not to die while you're at it.

What is the best weight loss pill to take? If one has to lose a whole lot of weight in about a month & a half .
For quick weight loss, all the studies I've read point to Atkins. It doesn't work for everybody, but most people will lose weight fast if they stick to the diet religiously. Keeping it off is hard though.

If he's already signed up, it won't be a problem. I certainly don't remember anyone asking, "Is your girlfriend pregnant?" He probably shouldn't volunteer the information though. After the kid is born, make sure he does all the paperwork to make the child his legal dependent. That makes a difference for health benefits, etc.

"The house is settling"--What does this mean?! I live in a basement and need to know if one day I'll wake up all the way underground or if this is just something to tell scared people at night.
The sounds you're hearing described as "the house is settling" aren't really the house settling on its foundation. When foundations settle, you'll know it. Cracked paint and plaster, popped fasteners, and eventually cracking concrete and brick over time. The sounds of a basement at night are mostly thermal sounds. Your house is hotter during the day. If I bought a bottle of wine today for $10 and kept it sealed for 50 years, would it be worth a lot more because of its age?
Highly unlikely for a $10 wine to have the complexity to age that well. The vintners I've spoken with that sell wine at that price point say it should be opened within two years. To get a bottle that's going to make it more than a decade you're going to pay $30 minimum.

If I blindfolded you - do you think you could tell the difference between a $100 bottle of wine and a $10 bottle?

It really depends on the wine. Most wines bottled today are meant to be drank within 2 years. If it started out with a lot of tannins to it though (woody flavor), it should be ok. Wines with high tannin content are the ones that really age well, decades of improvement.

Really good complex wines need more time to age. A box or can is probably not going to hold up well over decades. That said, nothing wrong with them at all for daily table wine, they're pretty good. I used to get table wine from the vintner in recycled 1 litre water bottles. Totally el-cheapo.

Not sure if you mean iridescence in light or variation in color. Iridescence as in it looks like oil on a puddle would mean its a crystal not a sapphire. Variation in color through the stone can actually be really valuable. I've seen stones that looked like a slice of watermelon, cool, pricey.

What makes a good wedding present under $500?
Go with their registry if they have one. It prevents duplicates and gives an idea of what they need/want. Most used wedding present we got was the predecessor to the George Foreman grill, truly handy item. The one I've received the most thanks for was the Calphalon set, but they didn't have any kitchen stuff prior.

Is it normal for a 17 year old to still have a bed time set by their mother?
I wouldn't say "bed time" for a 17 year old as much as go to your room and be quiet time. Stay up and read if you like, but deal with the consequences appropriately in the morning. I do believe though that as long as my children are under my roof they will abide by my rules. These include age-appropriate curfews and "bed times."

Yes, I definately lose some respect and would have to consider the topic of their opinion. Undoubtedly, there are subjects they might be more knowledgeable in based on experience. Overall though, they lose points in a major way. Prejudgicial, unfair, but that's honestly the world I live in.

Yes, but it takes time. Initially that fear is going to be there even with Mr./Ms. right. But the stronger you build your relationship, the deeper your love grows, and the more the fear fades. Let yourself live in the emotional moment. Don't look back to old wounds, or borrow worries from future fears. You'll not only be happier for it, but bring that happiness to the...

No, but that's a good thing. At first, the memories will be painful, but time heals all wounds. Looking back you see the differences between that first love and later ones. What do you think of the concept of bail? I personally don't get it - why let a criminal out of jail just because they have (or can get) money?
Bail is merely to make sure someone comes back for their court date. That person is innocent. The state wants to give them incentive to meet them in court, but is willing to give them their freedom until that date. It's also cheaper to let someone out on bail than it is to keep them in jail until trial.

How can you express 4/5 as a decimal?
Do you just divide 5 into 4?
I'm desperate: PLEASE HELP
You are correct in that any fraction can be converted to a decimal by dividing the top by the bottom.
However, if you can multiply the bottom number by something to get 10 or 100 it's really easy. Just multiply the top and bottom by the same amount. Then move the decimal one place to the left if 10 was on the bottom, or two if it was 100.
So:
5*2=10
4*2=8
4/5=.8

A couple of factors involved here. First, calorie intake makes a difference. Starting an exercise plan doesn't do as much on it's own as exercise with proper nutrition. You don't say what type of gym workout you're doing, but if you do any resistance/weight...

Primarily due to the effluent, or waste-water, that is the byproduct. It's ultra-salinated and is suggested to be damaging to the environment it's released into. Desalination is also power intensive. I try not hurt my brain over figuring out what some people see in each other. It very rarely makes sense from an outside perspective, and you'll never really get an inside one. I'm sure there are people who look at my wife and I and wonder, the same way we wonder about them.

Why is it that most people in society do nothing to improve their relationship until something goes wrong instead of actively doing great things frequently or sporadically for it to make sure it never goes wrong?
Because few people understand that even true love requires working together to build the relationship. That's why so many marriages fail, people don't understand that no matter how much you love each other, you need to work on it. The upside is the reward for that work is beyond words.

My boyfriend cheated on me. how do I know if he means it when he says he's truly sorry and that he's learned his lesson? I love him more than anyone in the world but I can't trust him anymore. I don't know if I should risk giving him
You will never be able to have a 100% relationship. There will forever be a doubt in your mind wondering if he'll do it again. He most likely will. Why put yourself through that? Loving him when he doesn't honestly love you is self-destructive.

Answer to:
Is going into debt considation going to ruin my credit
That depends on how you mean consolidation. If you mean getting a loan from a bank and paying off all of your credit cards (after cutting them up!), no. If you mean going to some company that will negotiate with all of your creditors, yes. They usually work by closing all of your accounts and working out a settlement deal. This messes up your credit score for 7 years after the last of the...

Has your checking account ever gone in the negative?
I had a bad streak several years ago and bounced a bunch. $28 fee for $2 over started a cascade. I finally wised up and have overdraft protection.
The real kicker is that some banks actually run software that clears checks in the order that bounces the greatest number so they can get more fees.

If someone dies owing more in credit card debt than the value of their estate, what happens to that credit card debt?
Once the estate has been completely liquidated, everything sold off to pay debts, that includes the china she always wanted you to have, and great grandpa's pocket watch, and everything else, then the debt is written off. As just an authorized user, they shouldn't try to go after you, if they try anyway, and probably will, you're clear.

What will happen when the Dollar reaches 100% inflation? At 101% will the inflation bubble burst?
100% inflation is the point at which the price of everything doubles over the period you're measuring, usually a month. You can have 200% inflation, and everything costs three times as much as it did last month. The killer is that wages don't change, or not as fast, so your money buys less. The Zimbabwe dollar was plunging in value so fast they had to revalue it 1000 to 1. It was...

I am looking to invest $50K in the next few months. my risk tolerance is low to medium. Could you provide suggestions as to where this could be invested to receive a better than average return? Thanks
Look for an Exchange Traded Fund in large cap stocks for your risk tolerance. To keep fees down, purchase it through an online system rather than pay a broker. Another easy option is a mutual fund with no load and low fees, you can deal with them directly. Check morningstar for ratings, load and fee rates, and contact info.
Answer to:
What is the better option for short term savings? A C.D. or a Savings Bond?
Savings Bonds are not a short term option and generally don't beat inflation. CD's and Money Market accounts can, but not by much. If you're looking for better interest than savings accounts but need the option to access the money, go with the MM. If you can let the money sit without touching it for a while, go with a CD.

Why do young people have such high levels of credit card debt?
It's a combination of predatory lenders and consumer marketing gone wild. Credit card companies target younger customers because they make more money off of them. Marketing professionals have made it their life's work to determine how to convince...

Only you can obligate yourself, which you seem to be doing. You can either become his slave, like you are starting to do, or you can dump him. This type of behavior does not improve by wishing or talking about it. He will continue to use you as long as you let him.

The body composition standards are less about performance than about $. Uncle Sam wants to spend as little on each soldier as possible. Burn it off of them in boot camp and if they keep it off good on 'em. If they gain it back, thanks for trying.

What is the difference between a non commissioned officer and a commissioned officer
A non-commissioned officer is a senior enlisted man from E-4 to E-9. A commissioned officer has received a commission from, and serves at the will of, the President of the United States. The pay is a lot better, the bull is thicker, and the paperwork is a nightmare. Officers also have degrees, except for a very small minority of specially promoted former enlisted.

The M-16 is the primary weapon, but we see a lot of M-4's. It's just a shorter version of the M-16. Don't get confused though, they don't just hand you a weapon at graduation and say "Have fun!" Weapons are normally kept in an armory unless you're training with them or in a combat zone.

When you have a wedding in the courthouse with just the judge and your two witnesses, do you exchange wedding rings and wear wedding suit and dress, or are you just supposed to wear regular clothes?
I wore a suit and she wore I nice dress, but there was a couple there in the tux and wedding dress too. The justice of the peace will do ring vows if you have them, or skip that part if you don't. It's up to you.

Answer to:
Are the chemicals in the brain changed when a male has kids vs. a male that doesnt have kids are the sex drives diffrent @ age 40
It's not directly due to having kids physically, it's the stress induced by having kids and the rest of adult life which can cause lower drive. Getting past 40, testosterone starts lowering and can lower drive, but men can have healthy sex lives into their 90's.
Answer to:
If a male is kicked in the testicles can that cause him to suffer from erectile dysfunction?
Actual rupture of both testicles could cause it, but that would be a heck of a kick. Just as bad, or worse, is if the penis is damaged and scar tissue develops. This can cause a painful bend in the erection, up to 90 degrees, and E.D.

It's also a blood pressure issue. When sleeping, your blood pressure drops pretty significantly. The first morning surge of pressure as you wake up can cause morning wood like standing in front of the class as a teenager.

Have your testicals ever gotten twisted up?
Holy OUCH! Never had it happen, and pray to God it never does. It's called torsion testicle and it can actually be life threatening if untreated. When the twist happens blood vessels get cut off and can cause tissue death. I had a buddy keel over screaming during a run because of it. He had to have a surgery that sounded horrific.

I will be getting married soon (sometime in september) and my husband to be doesnt want us to move out and live on our own of which i cant stand his sisters attitudes. how best can i convince him that we need to stay on our own.
If you can't live on your own financially, you shouldn't be getting married. You're just asking for pain. If it's finacially feasible, then just tell him you refuse to have sex in that house. If he wants to consumate the marriage, he'd better find you a place to call your own.

My wife just came off an affair with a married man. She claims to have loved him more than anyone & will never love anyone else as much as him. She wants to be with me now.How can we fix our marriage & her love me again after making a claim like that?
Why would you want to? She started with cheating, and turned abusive. Saying something like that is pure psychological abuse. If you just accept the abuse and take her back, expect her to be unfaithful again, she has no respect for you.

Will marriage once again be a matter of economics not love?
The genie is out of the bottle for the Western world. Women are empowered to make their own decisions on who they will marry, and it is truly a rare young woman who marries solely for economics. They're called gold diggers nowadays. Staying married for economic reasons is a different matter. Once the trap is sprung, it can be very hard to escape.
Answer to:
Me and wife known eachother since we were 12 married for a year im deployed and she wants an open marriage while im away? Any advice?
It sounds like she never grew up, and it's time. I've see several divorces due to "open" marriages on deployment. It doesn't work because real marriages aren't open. Either she figures out how to be the spouse of a deployed servicemember, or an ex-spouse.
Answer to:
What is your philosophy of marriage?
Love and lust can wax and wane like the moon. Love grows ever stronger over time, but what holds it up in the lows and keeps you together is friendship. If you are married, or thinking of getting married, and someone asks "Who is your best friend?" there really is only one correct answer if you're going to make it.

I am 73 I have not taken any distributions from my 401K I need all the money to buy a house. What will I owe?
Ouch, you're going to owe taxes on the distribution as income. 401k distributions are taxable income even after retirement age. You'll have to look it up in the tax tables and estimate a bit over, but 28% taxes could be realistic.
Answer to:
I invest alot into my 401k. With the way the market is today should I lower the amount I'm putting in?
Contribute enough to max out your employer's matching, and put the rest in an IRA, but don't stop investing. Cost averaging is the way to best take advantage of the power of the market. If you try and time your investments you'll pretty much always lose.
Answer to:
Is it possible for a 65 year old wife to get retirement benefits from her husbands retirement even if he isn't at the age yet to retire & the two are still married?
Nope, spouses can only recieve SS benefits based on their spouse's eligibility after the primary wage earner reaches retirement age. If they have their own eligibility they may claim their benefits, and later change to the spousal benefit. SSA.gov explains it pretty well.

Double check with the office, but I don't think so. If he was deported it is unlikely he was paying into the system under a valid social security number anyway.

Answer to:
How does military service effect amount of social security benefits?
Not at all, you recieve no different amount. Military service and retirement pays are a part of the Department of Defense. It also makes no difference to Social Security for others since we also pay SS tax. What is draining the system is the thousands of people who have never paid into SS but are leeching off of it because they are "unable to work."

Antique shops also have "estate pieces" at good prices. They are older styles, but some things don't change much. Otherwise, go wholesale online. Some will ship you multiple stones to choose from. Then you just have a local jeweler set it.
Answer to:
The engagement ring I want is $15,000 with a real diamond and I am fine with a Cubic Zirconia which would only cost $1,300. My finace thinks it's dumb to do a fake stone. Would it matter to you if your engagement ring was a cubic zirconia?
For many men, it's a matter of pride to see your ring her finger. If no one else ever even guessed, he'd know it was fake and it would bother him forever. Great moment: "Wow, somebody really must love you." I felt ten feet tall.
Answer to:

First set your price range mentally. Then take her shopping. Find out what she really likes. Utter surprise doesn't work with lots of women. She may surprise you, and you both may compromise. My wife settled for a diamond because I couldn't afford an emerald she would like.

I hate to break it to you, but you're a friend with benefits, not a serious relationship. He's enjoying the benefits while shopping for something better.
