Whats the closest call you had to death? I was extremely sick earlier this year. Lost 25 pounds in 2 weeks. Didn't have enough strength to even walk. I had an infection in the blood stream. After about the 6th night of it I begged to die. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy

You need to consider therapy where you can talk about what's bothering you and maybe enen try more meds with a psychiatrist. A gp doesn't usually know all the medicine and which works best. Meds aside though you do need therapy to help you deal with this.

Each state is different and it's better to ask them and get their decision in writing than to finish the degree and not be able to use it. They wanted $100 to set it up and $25 a month to monitor it. Only you can decide that. In most cases you can get to a phone and call 911 but if you fall and hurt yourself and can't get to a phone you are screwed. I have an emergency call system in my apartment but every time I fall I am in another room and not able to get to it. GL in your decision.

You're in a plane and suddenly a baby starts screaming up ahead. What is your first thought? "I wish that baby would shut up" or "I wonder if that baby is in pain?" Do you get immediately annoyed or feel compassion for the baby and the mother? I would get upset if it went on for several minutes but usually a baby crying means something is wrong. Babies can't help themselves and so their crying doesn't bug me nearly as much as an undiscipline unruly kid who acts out. Screaming, running around, etc and the parents do nothing to stop it. I rode a bus one time and listened to that for 12 hours. Parents did nothing.

If a flight is canceled because of weather conditions, and they couldn't get off the runway for hours, would they give everyone a flight for the next day? Or would everyone's vacation, visit etc, be canceled? I flew Southwest one time and flights were cancelled from weather and the passengers were told that they are not responsible for weather so they passengers would be on their own. They will rebook on another flight but then you pay the difference which is a lot more last minute.

How difficult is it to care for a child with a disability? It is VERY HARD. I did it for many years alone with no help. Constant doctor visits, therapy, hospitals. It wears you out emotionally and physically. It's hard to find babysitters/daycares because they require so much one on one which makes it hard to work or go to school. It is a lot more difficult than with non disabled kids.

Disabled, I'm not as employable as typical students. The only way to stall student loans is to keep going to college. What will the loan companies or the university’s financial aid office do when I keep going to college long after my peers graduate? They won't do anything but you can only borrow so much money and then you won't get anymore even if you are in school. If you can prove a disability you can have your student loans discharged 1 time only. if you take out anymore they won't be discharged.

I filed for ssi disability and the turn me down for this one also ssa because not enough work credits.so i applied for ssi. would it be wise to get a lawyer ? i have 60 days to apeal their denial . yes it would. It took me 4 years to get mine and I had a lawyer from day 1. They will get up to 25% of your backpay but it's better than not getting it at all. With an attorney you just turn all the info in to him/her and let them deal with it all.

My lease expired on June 30th and it is now mid-July. I am currently on a month-to-month lease and nothing was signed. I gave my required 30-day notice to vacate mid-August. They're telling me I will have to pay for all of August anyway. Is this legal? They do that everywhere I have ever lived. It goes from 1st to last and they don't prorate. My lease was from May 1 to April 30. If I stayed till May 2..I had to pay a full months rent for May.

Should AB concider removing the negative points button. I never downrate anyone I don't see the need if I think it's a dumb answer or question I don't give them point the negative points are being missused about 80% of the time. I dare say it's misused probably 90-95% of the time. Removing it has been suggested multiple times but Ab staff won't do it. It is a shame that people can't use it for it's intended use which was to DR rude or really unhelpful answers.

If you get a prescription filled, and then can't pay for it, can the pharmacist simply return them to the dispensary, or must they be either consumed by the patient or disposed of once they are dispensed? They are already in the state food stamp program. If you go to the MD you will have to have the money up front but it will be much cheaper. If a cop checks your plates from behind you, will he just know who the car is reg. to, or will he find out, or want to find out who insures it? If they run the plates they can tell you who the car is registered to, if the plates are on the right car and if they pull you over you have to show proof of insurance. I am not sure if it shows that you are not insured just by running them or not..it probably does since they have computers in their car now but you still have to carry proof with you.
