I've never liked thunder, especially those real loud claps and rumbles which are the result of close lightning strikes. Everytime we get a thunderstorm I put a hard rock or heavy metal CD into my CD player (Judas Priest's "Screaming For Vengeance" or "Painkiller" being my favorites) and crank up...

I don't like loud claps of thunder, so I find the loudest hard rock or heavy metal CD or tape that I have, then turn up the stereo so loud that you would never know a thunderstorm is occurring unless you either look out the window, or the power goes out.
