Do you think it is right for a coach to instigate a fight with another teams coach for saying say mean comments about a teams player and then tell the player to kick the soccer ball at my girls varsity soccer team. He is the boys varsity soccer coach.
Believe it or not, coaches are supposed to set an example for their players. All too often they behave worse than the children they ooach and supervisors and the BOE do nothing or just make excuses for them. My experience has been that numbers speak louder than one person. If your entire team were to complain to the BOE and go public (local newpaper) then the BOE would be forced to address it....

The first thing to do is to realize that the number can be either positive or negative due to the absolute value symbol around the 3x -2. But the requirements tell you that it must be positive so negative numbers are out.
Then you solve the equation and ask yourself what number when multipled 3 times and then subtracted by 2 would give you 7.

Where is the best place to raise a family in New York State?
Dutchess County is really nice. The prices aren't as high as Westchester or Putnam. There are enough things to do both recreationally and culturally. The schools are ranked the best or near the best. There is still open land available and the houses aren't on top of each other. Most water is clean and pollution is low. Shopping is readily available. Traffic is acceptable in most...

Should the drinking age be lowered to 18?
I think that the legal drinking age should be lowered to 18. If you are old enough to die for your country then you should be allowed to drink.
Legalized drinking age has little to do with drunk driving statistics. In European countries people drink at a much younger age than Americans but the accident rate is not greater.
And yes...I'm over 21.

I know one couple that is happily married. They are the most unlikely couple too but I guess it works for them. Everyone else just seems to endure their spouses.
Answer to:
Are your friends your age, older or younger? Do you feel that age matters in friendship? I recently met a couple that are 15 years older than my husband and I. They have children the same age, and similiar interests. Can the friendship work?
I think that friendship originates and survives when people have common interests and something that binds them together such as children of the same age or mutual friends. I think age difference doesn't really matter unless one party has a hang up about it.

A few weeks ago i made a really mad decision and did some cocaine somewhere around 4 lines on a Saturday night. The next sunday evening (9 days later) i had a unexpected drug test for my job do you think i passed?
Most people think that cocaine stays in your body for around 2-3 days. However that is a misconception. Drug tests generally test for the presence of cocaine and also verify the presence of any benzoylecgonine which gets retained in the human body for around a month after the intake. Drug tests verify the presence of benzoylecgonine in our system.

What's the point of athletic competition? We find in many if not all sports that winners cheat! Why don't we stop kidding outselves! Winning is everything and the end justifies the means and "everyone else does it"! How noble is that? How meaningful? :(
I have participated in athletic competitions ever since I was young and so has everyone in my family.
The satisifaction comes when you can win in spite of the cheaters and from knowing that you are the true winner for getting out there and trying, whether you win or not.

Do you rent movies from a Red Box? What do you think? Any draw backs?
Yes, I have rented movies from Red Box. The price is great.
Now the drawbacks: If the CD is scratched you have to write to the company online, again, and again until someone helps you. They don't always have the movies that you want but you have to go through the check out process to find out that they are out of that particular movie. You have to be careful that they don't charge...

What are some stereotypes of the region/state/country you live in? How valid are those stereotypes?
I live in New York. Upstate New York. Whenever I tell anyone that is not from the East Coast that I live in Upstate New York they immediately think that I live in New York City and that every part of the state is like the city. It couldn't be further from the truth. No subways here. No crowds. Country all the way!

I have it in my dining room. I've had it for about 3 years. It is great because spills easily wipe up amd always looks good. One suggestion...use a good quality underlayment. It helps reduce noise and feels better on your feet and legs. Some friends of mine used on the basic underlayment on theirs and you can definitely see the difference between theirs and mine.

We are building a robot in class, this robot has to be able to grip a nylon track ball. what is the best material we can use to successfully grip the nylon track ball and move it around?
The cheapest and easiest material to find would be to use the gripper type of shelf lining that is readily available at dollar stores. It kind of looks like a waffle design. This would keep the ball from slipping but would allow enough give to move the ball around. FYI...We made a robot in my engineering class and used this as a gripper material. Good luck

Do Americans dislike soccer so much because the players fall down so easily and get injured from the lightest touch? I mean, a right good fart would blow away some of the players by the looks of things. Is this a reason why?
I am an American who plays soccer and doesn't complain about getting hurt. I think that the reason most Americans don't like soccer as well as American football, baseball or basketball is exposure. Every Fall Football dominates the TV, in the Winter it's Basketball and in the Summer it's Baseball. The Europeans are doing a great job introducing the game of soccer to the US....
