The Bible in Acts 11:26 says that believers in Christ were FIRST called Christians after Paul's ministry in Antioch around approx. 34 AD. But the Book of Mormon in Alma 46:15 claims that people were FIRST known by this title in approx. 73BC. Why?
The Bible doesn't actually specify the date, but 34 AD/CE is probably a bit too early considering the known chronology.
73 <BC> is just ludicrous.

Muslims teach Muhammad was sinless. However the Koran specifically limits the number of wives a Muslim man can marry to 4. Yet Muhammad married at least 12 women. My question : Is Muhammad above the very law he gave in the Koran
Christians teach that Jesus never married, even though a man who had never married would not have been referred to as a teacher in ancient Judea, nor would a single man have been regarded as holy, as the Talmud considers celibacy unnatural.
Did Jesus violate the law of Genesis 2:24 or were the 18 undocumented years of his life omitted from Biblical texts for political reasons?

Why does every older Aspie on here tell me to forget about social stuff? It's just stupid, you have to socialize, even if you are an Aspie, because it's a part of life!
There is an undercurrent of elitism among some Aspies, as if society should have to adapt to them and not the other way around. To an extent I agree with the sentiment, the feeling that people should be honest and say what they mean rather than telling half-truths or always beating around the bush, but I don't endorse hermitism.
We are more than capable of learning to function in society,...

There are some really good local scenes in Europe; bands that write and perform in their own mother tongue. Jesus wasn't praying when he cursed the fig tree (Matthew 21:19), commanded the storm to cease (Mark 4:39), or raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43), and he did say that we would do greater works than those (John 14:12), so clearly prayer is not the answer.

12 years is not a major difference in the long run, but if you are going into this with that concern you should really be cautious about taking that step. The fear only gets worse over time.

I used to write really well, been told I had tons of talent. I haven't written anything in 12 yrs, since the birth of my eldest. I only get inspired when I read something someone else wrote. Is it possible I never had talent at all, or I lost it?
I allowed myself to stop writing for many years as well, but have recently begun to write again, and have made it a point to post something to my blog daily. All I'm doing it letting my thoughts out, not worrying about trying to impress anyone. Maybe later I'll start on the fiction works I've had brewing in my head, but for now I'm just glad to be writing again.

Why are so many LGBT convinced that God "made them that way"? What is the basis for that belief?
God is both male and female. El Shaddai doesn't just mean God Almighty. It means the God with breasts, or the giver of life and fertility.
Adam was created in God's image BEFORE He made Eve. He represented the image of God while he was still both male and female.
What is the basis for that belief? The Bible.

Which is a better choice for an engagement ring metal in regard to maintenance and wear--platinum or white gold?
I used to work for Helzberg Diamonds. I recommend white gold, hands down. Platinum scratches very easily and does not take well to buffing at all. The process actually strips it. Bear in mind that both metals do get coated for appearance's sake when made into jewelry, but since the gold takes well to being buffed it is far easier to maintain. It's also quite a bit cheaper.

What brand & model of electric guitar do you prefer?
I play too many different scales, tunings, and numbers of strings to have a favorite, but my Steinberger GM1TA gets the most attention out of the guitars in my collection. I'd really love to pick up a Parker Fly MIDI Mojo though. Since I mainly play through a Roland VG-99 it would be ideal.

I almost died from a previously unknown food allergy. It took me several minutes of violent hacking and heaving to be able to breathe enough to keep from passing out. I felt like I had been pulled...

Answer to:
Men, or women who like women: Which do you find sexier - women with long, flowing hair, or short, spunky hair?
It really depends on the woman. Some look great with short hair, while others look better with it grown out a bit longer. The most important thing about a woman's hair length/style is that she is happy with it. That kind of contentment always adds to her appeal.

Have you ever recorded a song you made when you were in a band & what was it called?
Yes, several, but it's been 20 years since the band split up.
My favorite song to perform was called Black Plague.
The band name was Enforcer, but it's been so long ago that there's a new band with the same name and no one really remembers us. It was fun while it lasted.

Most men don't read those magazines and would rather meet a real woman, in person, than stare at photoshopped images.
