How do I remove the cat urine smell from a satin comforter? It's polyester satin, I've taken it to the dry cleaner but it still smells. I've heard apple cider vinegar will remove the smell but I don't know if it will harm the fabric. Regular white vinegar will work much better. Dip a corner into full strength vinegar and rinse it out after a few minutes. If the fabric still looks normal, wash the comforter with 2 cups of vinegar in the washer on delicate cycle, and using cold water. I use white vinegar on all my clothes and bedding and it works great.

Once a question has received enough answers (meaning people understand what was being asked), should it be immune from being flagged as "nonsense"? If only it worked that way. If, say, 20 or more people answer the question, then it shouldn't be considered nonsense! It's insulting, if nothing else, to answer a question only to have it flagged as nonsense later.

In future, how do we tell someone they overstayed their welcome without being rude and feeling like a heel? I hate seething in silence! My wife thinks I should walk on them with my cowboy boots to teach him a lesson. Is she right? Never speak idle threats. The boy knows you are not going to do what you say you will, so why would he do what you want? REMOVE THE TOYS from the floor and put them where he can't access them. Give them back in a month. My breast milk is drying up and my baby is only almost 9 months, so I don't want to stop nursing him yet. A friend told me "drink a beer, it's a booby stimulant, worked for me". Is this legitimate? Don't know if it's still done, but when I was in the hospital for my daughter, the nurses had beer on hand for those of us who were nursing, as they said it would actually stimulate lactation.

Women In Long Distance Relationship: When you finally get to spend time with your significant other and sadly you get your monthly visit; do you still get some? Or do they make you wait till the next visit? At my age, that's no longer a concern. However, it was not much of a problem when I did get "monthly" visits. He said "I will wade in the red river, just not drink from it." If you can shower together afterwards, it extends the pleasureable feelings, too.
