A Nano 16 GB will give your son the video, games and music capabilities, and its not very expensive. It's handier and sturdier than the IPOD touch for a child his age.

Stay true to yourself. A profession is a vital part of us, and not always positive, but if no matter what, you keep firm in your personal spiritual and ethical values, you'll find it easier to diasregard the negativity aound you.

Answer to:
How can you tell if someone really likes you for who you are and not just for how you look?
The person takes time to meet you, the things you like and dislike. Takes interest in your experiences thru life and how they have affected you positive and negatively. That person cherish you and respect you as an human being. When a person is "hook" in your looks it shows: they are graby and visceral about the relationship... they also tend to be jealous or show off you as a prize.

For U.S. residents....where is the most expensive place that you've ever vacationed?
I went crazy once... went to Las Vegas on Vacation and stayed a week at a Pyramid Spa Suite at the Luxor Hotel. Expensive, but luxurious and fun... Vegas has a lot to offer, even for a person (like me!) that doesn't gamble.

I made my husband move out the house, now he wants to take everything, claiming since he bought it, then it is his to take. He bought me a computer as a christmas present, Should I let him take the computer?
Don't let him take anything, until it's your rights and his are established by a court of law. If he has taken things from the premises, make a list. Changing the locks is a great idea, and a restraining order if he gets "hostile" or "violent" may be a need. Remember, that it doesn't matter who bought it, is yours too.

Answer to:
Since my fiance broke up with me he's been cutting himself-dangerously deep. He's told me he's wanted to kill himself but cuts to "control himself" from taking things out on others. I know the break up was my fault but what can I do to help him?
When he talks about wanting to kill himself, he is using manipulation to make you feel guilty. It's a traditional way of emotional abuse. He needs help, but not from you. The way you phrase your question shows that he had, probably, cut before. Help him, as his friend, by getting him to talk with a professional at the school, or with a person he trusts.

Is there such thing as a bad parent?
Sad, but... Heck, yes! There are many deficient, bad, parents. One example is the parent that think that giving everything a child ask for is good for a child. Another example is the abuser... the parent that call the child names, hit him or push the child into wrong direction.

Answer to:
I was at a restaurant last week and a child was turned around talking to the table behind them. The parents did not stop the child from annoying the other table. Why do parents think this is cute?
My take on this that some parents are ok with it because it keeps the kids from bothering them; and others, just do find it "cute" ... "look Tommy is making friends...how sweet of him!". In ocation I have asked the parents to call a child off, and they always get upset with me, instead of actually seeing that is their fault.

The reason to be pulled over must have been written in the papers from his arrest. A "wavy" or inconsistent driving, as well as being to fast or too slow, or even a wrong turn, is enough to be pullover. I have a friend who is in therapy, partly because of a rape incident some years ago. how do i tell her in the nicest way to get over it? i was abused as a child, and quite a few of the people we hang with also have a history...but she just cant let go!
Actually, if you are a good friend, you'll support her by being just that: a friend. You need to recognize that we are not all image copies of each others... we look, act and think different. A good friend accepts the other the way they are, and is always there in case of need. We deal different to the same (or basicly the same) situations. If you push her to "get over it"...

Hell, no! You never give up when it concerns your happiness. The right person to share your life will come, just live the way you like, enjoy life and don't concern too much with actually looking for anyone special. You'll know when you meet.

It does, you just need to realize that as not everybody thinks the same way, not everybody feels the same way. When someone is rejecting you, see it as a rejection to a characteristic, a trait, or an impresion. And, that YOU are more than that. You are a whole individual, with a worthiness above the norrow minded person that tries to hurt, underestimates, or misunderstands, you.

Hello i have found a lump about 3 cm back from my left ear and i have been feeling sharp pains for a while... and like something is in my head... could it be non-hodgkins disease if not what?
It may be something as simple as your body fighting an infection. But, only your doctor can tell you for certain. If it persists, go get a checkup, so you'll be at ease. Don't complicate your life looking for signs of a "disease", it is good to be concerned about your health, but unhealthy to worry without a established cause.

Is there any way you can tell whether someone would be interested in you, if you've never spoken to them, but they're in your class?

Wife tells hubby what she is making for dinner. He gets home to find the menu has changed. Hubby gets pissed because he had his taste set for first selection. Wife gets pissed because she feel hubby is not appreciative. What do you think?
I think that the husband shouldn't get upset, but rather be thankful for his dinner. And, that if he was really looking forward for the meal he thought he was having, he could have been civilized enough to comment to his wife how much he would appreciate if she makes it when she can.

Yes, Jesus is the only authority figure that hasn't change in my life. Father, mother, teachers.... they all have been an authority figure to emulate, but their moment pass with time, while the sacrifice of the Man, or the Son of God, whatever way people sees Him (Jesus), makes Him an authority for me.

"The truth about my Mormon god was that he was weak and unable to save me unless I completely abandoned my sins. He was just a[n exalted] man that existed before me ..." Andy Pollard, former LdS Church Member. Thoughts?
As far as I know, Mormons have one God, the same God as in any other Christian religions. They do add the trimmings of their Profets and the Book of the Mormon, and they have the right (as we all do) to believe what they want. About the quotation... it sounds like something said out of spite more than from deep thinking.

As far as I know my freedom of speech is censored only by the common sense that tells me that anything offensive to others is out of place. There is a time to talk, and there is a time for silence.
