(A) What type of spectrum do the filtered lights make? (B) What type of spectrum would the light behind the filter make? (C) Explain why the spectra of the filtered lights appear the way they do. please help! only thing i don't understand!!
my guess is that the filtered lights would make an emission spectra, and the light behind the filter would become an absorption spectrum, because filtered light is heated while the light behind the filter is not.... does anyone agree or have the answer!! i'm just elaborating on my question so please let me know your thoughts!!!!

Do pinball machines hurt dogs' ears? Every time we play our machine our dog goes nuts and keeps crying. I'm worried that the sounds hurt him.
thanks. (i haven't received my conformation e-mail, so i can't comment) i did an experiment and took him outside - he did his "business..." and then pulled me back to the house and to the pinball machine. it was like he wanted to be near the machine, yet he still cried even when he was sitting right in front of it. I also noticed he was shaking a little. thank you tho...

Would you rather agree with someone versus saying your opinion in order to prevent an argument?
It depends on the person whether they're competitive and a good arguer or not. And it all depends on whether you are a good arguer or not. As well as how big a deal this argument would be about. I also think it all depends on your judgment

It could be some kind of fungi. My dad has what we call "the bad toe," only because it has fungi. So I would go to a doctor and get it checked out, because it could get worse.

Are those websites that say get a free ipod if you fill out our survey serious or fake?
It's hard to tell, thats why i wouldn't trust them. I bet most of them are fake and just trying to get your address, e-mail, etc. so they can send you more advertisements. Be safe and buy whatever they're trying to sell from a trustworthy place.

My friend is thinking of running away. She's 12. Her reasons are because of her parents divorce and many other reasons that are pretty bad. How do I get her to think otherwise?
spend some time with her. help her focus on the positive things in her life, and encourage her to tell her parents how she feels about their divorce and whatever else she feels bad about. make her focus on all the bad and dangerous things that could happen to her if she runs away. have her go on a 2 day trip somewhere with one parent, and again with another. have her get used to being with...

My friend asked me for money for marijuana and I declined him, and he said:"I'll remember this." So I wonder what he means by saying that, and at the end I let him borrowed money after a few more declines from me, is he a true friend?
He seems like the kind of friend that is just taking advantage of you for something that is bad in itself. I would keep a distance and don't offer up any extra money to other friends in front of him. the part where he says "I'll remember this," he is probably just trying to scare you, and thinks that you're not a reliable friend. Don't listen to him and...
