Answer to:
Why do people sometimes dream in black and white?
I've always heard that people that dream in color are more creative and imaginative. I'm not sure how true that is, but ALL my dreams have very vivid colors!
Good question!

What is the only thing that can stop you from a fight?
My conscience! At my age I know how stupid fighting is, and I know that either 1. I will hurt the other person, or 2. I will get hurt.
There really is no purpose in it, I'd rather walk away, and if the other person was worth it, I would talk to them after we've both cooled off! I can't say I've always felt that way, though! As a teenager I thought I was a bad-ass so I...

Do you eat before going food shopping to keep yourself from buying a bunch of junk food?
Well, it's the smart thing to do, but if you have no food at home, (hence, the grocery shopping!) then you'll buy everything you see and have sudden cravings for it all. And all the good stuff you put in your basket will be 'what we're having for dinner', then inevitably, we're so hungry that we'll end up getting fast food on the way home anyway! Crazy, huh?

Who else saved all their old love letters?
OMG I am such a pack rat! I have kept ALL notes from friends and boyfriends since 5th grade!!! I just love to go back and read them to be reminded of what was going on at that time of my life! It's kind of like a journal... I can read who was mad at who, and what guy I liked, and all the crazy things I did as a kid! It's great!

It was fairly recent, but I will try to condence it... I was sleeping in bed with my exhusband, and he infuenced the end of it! Can we use liquid bandage on my cat's nose? He has a scratch and hates the cone
I think you should check with your vet first, it may have some ingredients in it that are toxic to a cat. Not to mention it would probably get rubbed off pretty quickly as the nose is moist, and he will be irritated with the liquid bandage, and the injury, and will rub it right off.

Can your brain be overloaded with information? If so, should we compress the information, delete the useless ones, or just let your brain crash?
Ha Ha! This question reminds me of a 'Married With Children' episode where Kelly had to win a fact's based game show for her dad, (Al) and when her dad and her brother were 'training' her and feeding her with new Q & A for the gameshow, every bit of new information, at a certain point, pushed out the old information. So much so that the info she knew of her dad...

I'm not that angry of a person, but I would rather get away from the person I am mad at, then go back to the issue when I've cooled off. That way I'm not kicking myself for saying something out of anger.

Are you afraid of Spiders or do you find them fascinating?
Yes, I am, even though I know for the most part they won't hurt me... but even worse, I am scared of cockroaches with a PASSION, and have no idea why! I know they're disgusting, but I act like they're going to KILL me! Spiders, on the other hand, I will kill if I have a shoe or even a napkin, but forget it with the roaches!

My cat won't stop biting. He's 4 years old and it's a new habit and he only does it when he's being loveable. These bites are hard though and cut very deeply. Are there any ways to stop this biting habit?
I like both of the previous answers, but I just wanted to let you know that we call those 'love bites'. Apparently, your cat gets carried away with his love bites, but if he is being very loveable and not just playing, I think he thinks he is expressing his love. My kitty used to nibble my cheek when I asked her for kisses (I say 'used to' since I had to put her to sleep...

True or False: If started early enough and with enough time and patience cats can trained to do the same things dogs can such as walk on a leash, fetch, sit, etc.
I had a cat that was very, very smart! Unfortunately I had to put her to sleep last year when she was 18. When she was a kitten she somehow taught herself to fetch... she just loved doing it with wadded up paper (any time she heard you wadding up paper, she'd come running), and straws were her favorite! If anyone had a cup with a straw in it, she would try to get the straw out and make...

My kitten is now 8 weeks old and i'm still feeding him by a bottle every 2-3 hours. I try to give him wet food, but he turns away. What can I do.
Have you tried a different kind of food? Or, try putting some tuna juice on your finger and see if he likes that, then lure him to the food bowl with the smell, and maybe give him a TINY amount of tuna with some tuna flavored kitten food. Don't give him much tuna, though, as it has too much mercury in it for their systems to handle!

Hi,im trying my best to potty train my 4 weeks old kitten but she keeps falling asleep in the littler tray and refuses to do her pee. how regurlarly am i supose to put her in the litter tray??and how do i stop her from sleepin in it?
I take it the kitten was taken away from her mother too soon? One thing you should try is to take a warm wet washcloth and wipe her genitals with it after you put her in the box. This may make her do her business. When the mother has them she licks them there so that stimulates them to go to the bathroom. Give her a little time, though, because she is still very young to have the litter box...

Do you call it a turning circle, roundabout, whatchamacallit, or something else? Where are you from?
Well, we had no idea what a 'roundabout' was in Florida when we were told to go to one (and didn't know how to drive on it!), cuz I don't think we have those in Texas...if we do, I have no idea where! Initially I thought you were just talking about a U-turn, which just takes you under the freeway to go the opposite direction.
Answer to:
When I'm not at home I leave my windows open for my cat. My friend thinks this is cruel and that I should leave the Air condition on continuely.
I think it depends on how hot it is outside, because it will definitely be hotter inside! If it gets too warm (though cats do love warmth), I would consider that to be too much for a cat that has lived in a climate controlled environment all it's life.

Answer to:
Why are dogs fine eating feces but not when it comes to chocolate?
The chemicals in chocolate will kill a dog. I saw in previous posts that it has theobromine in it. I didn't know that much, but I do know that the outcome can be devastating! I was once told that the caffiene in chocolate can cause their hearts to race too much for their little bodies to handle, and they would need to be rushed to the vet to induce vomiting or they can die. As for...

What dose weaning mean
It's when the kitten (or any baby animal) doesn't need to continue getting it's nutrition from it's mother, so they can eat different foods. That is the time we can take them to become pets! It will be a 'process' to introduce them, but it can be done! I thought my (then) 5ish cat wouldn't welcome any new cats because she was ferocious! She loved me and her daddy, and that was IT! I wouldn't worry too much about it, just keep an eye on your kitty. The only thing that would concern me is if your kitty was diabetic, and that would make his glucose levels too high, but I am assuming that's not the case. I think he will be just fine!

During these days of temperatures hovering around 100 and more degrees, do you think I should hose down my cat?
Umm, somehow, I don't think your kitty will like that, or you, for that matter! Cats generally don't like water (unless they're drinking it), but make sure your kitty has PLENTY of fresh, clean drinking water available, and has a cool place to lay out of the sun.

My girlfriend and I recently broke up. We had a two bedroom apartment and since we broke up we have seperated rooms. Since then her cat has urinated in her room dozens of times and on my clothes a few times. Does anyone have any insight?
Do NOT use ammonia! This confuses cats because ammonia smells like urine & they may urinate in the area where the ammonia has been used because they think it was another cat & they are being "territorial". I've read many articles on litter training, and they all say never to keep the food close to the litter box because cat's don't like to eat near where they deficate/urinate. Also, along those same lines, if your kitty is peeing somewhere other than the litter box you should put their food on a peice of foil over the place they previously pee'd (after you clean the carpet, of...

Are there any instances of a house cat attacking and killing a person?
LOL, only if your 'house cat' is undomesticated! Such as a tiger, cheetah, or lion! House cats are much too small to kill someone, but can inflict quite a bit of harm! The old wives tales that cats kill babies is just that, an old wives tale, but it probably stems from the...

Mental illness... so many people look down on people with depression, bipolar disorder, etc. People just aren't educated in it to know that these people with mental disorders didn't CHOOSE to be that way! Too many people in this world have no empathy for others!

Answer to:
Is frick/fricken considered a curse word?
I don't think so... it's much better than blurting out the REAL word you wanted to use that might offend people! My niece says 'freakin' all the time, but I really don't see the harm in it if she's actually 'watching' what she says enough to be careful with it.

Answer to:
Does it make anyone feel better that a sexy woman like Shania Twain has a hard time keeping her husband to herself?
My opinion is that every beautiful woman (or man) has/had a man (or woman) that is tired of him/her. Beauty is only skin deep... personality can make someone beautiful or ugly, no matter what they look like physically. I am not saying that's what happened, but we don't really know what went on behind closed doors!

Answer to:
What is your opinion on britney spears?
I think Britney has bipolar disorder, and I actually feel sorry for her. I read somewhere that she is being medicated for it, so hopefully she gets back to her 'normal' self (whatever that is!). I haven't seen her on the news lately, so maybe that's a good sign! Any kind of mental issue is not something someone chooses to have, nor do they act like they normally would....

DO you or DID you have grey hair growing in your 20's?
YES! I started getting gray hair at 16, and I am 38 now with a TON of it! I inherited that from my dad, who was completely gray by 30... lucky me! Men look much better with gray than women do!! That reminds me, I need to color my hair this weekend....

Sorry about this answer, but I just had to laugh when I read your question... I used to tell my (now ex) husband "Just wait until you go to sleep!"

Answer to:
Do you have a hard time motivating yourself?
Unfortunately, yes! My doctor finally put me on Adderall (for ADD) and I am finally able to focus on what needs to be done!! Why are you having problems with motivation? Are you tired, or just being lazy? I think we're all guilty of the lazy factor at times!

Answer to:
Have you ever experienced multiple rapid sharp pains on the back of your head/scalp? I have for a year, and my doctor suspects it is harmless, or possibly migraines. However, sometimes it so sharp that I twitch or jerk. What could this be?
Years ago I had the same problem, but my pains were in random points on my head. The doctor told me it was maxillofacial pain, referred from The temporomandibular joint (TMJ), which is a small joint located in front of the ear where the skull and lower jaw meet. I used to chew gum ALL the time, and now I have noticed that I don't have those pains anymore since I stopped chewing gum....
