I have a white jersey style shirt made out of polyester. The shirt has a stain, probably ketchup or something, on it. I've tried all types of cleaning products, like spray on stain removers and bleach, but they didn't work. Any suggestions to remove it? I have had a lot of luck by soaking dried stains with hydrogen peroxide. I've also had luck with an indelible pen mark that somehow dried, by saturating the fabric with foaming shaving cream, rinsing, and then repeating. Good Luck!

I stained one set of my new mahogany garage doors without sanding them, and the result is uneven and ugly. I sanded the second set and they are beautiful. Can I sand the first set and restain them? If not, can I salvage them? Sure, you can sand the doors down, and start over. You might have to completely sand down to bare wood. You would want to re-stain the first door as soon as possible, as you don't want the stain on the second door to fade from the sun and/or weather, and still wind up looking different from the other.
