Would you feel safe with your child(ren) visiting Florida with a man like George Zimmerman on the loose? Does it depend on where in Florida?
I'd feel safe if Zimmerman gets at least 25 years for this nonsense. Preferably life without parole.

Answer to:
Do you think George Zimmerman should be charged for shooting Trayvon Martin? Why or why not?
Zimmerman should never see freedom again. They should put him in jail for the rest of his life. No chance of parole and anyone who supplies him with Prozac should get 20 years in prison. And may I add Zimmerman should also be forced to do hard labor even on Christmas.

Can I legally kick my 18 year old son out of my house? Is there a statute that says I have to give him notice like a tenant, even though he is not a tenant? I would think parents should have the right to kick a non rent paying adult child out of the house
I'm 18, getting ready to turn 19 on Dec 25th... and I know I am not cognitively ready to live on my own for an extended period of time. Yes I do live in college, in a dorm, and go home every weekend. The point is, an 18 year old is not fully mentally developed yet, and while SOME would be okay living on their own, some just aren't there yet.
My plan in life is to move out on my own around age...
Answer to:

Always, always get a 2008 or newer Honda Accord if it's a car you're considering. I'd rather ride in a 2008 or newer Honda Accord for 10 minutes than get a massage for an hour- and I love massages.
I know I'm three years late but someone else may see this question and get some useful info.

In a front crash (under 40 mph) in a 5 star safety rated vehicle, which seat do you think would be the safest?
Crash tests have shown it to be the driver's seat in most modern cars - the 2005 Acura RL, for example, had a head injury criterion of 211 for the driver, 395 for the passenger, and 1336 for the rear right older child sized dummy occupant, partly due to the lack of an airbag to stabilize the dummy's head. 211 and 395 are very good HIC values showing very low risk of injury. 1336 is a high HIC,...

I'd say above average, 1100 or higher (no writing test) / 1650 or higher (with the writing test) but it's hard to predict. I know a lot of people with a GPA in that range and they generally make 21 to 32 on the ACT. In my state we take the ACT more often than the SAT.
21 to 32 ACT is like:
1000 to 1470 (with no writing test)
1500 to 2210 (with a writing test)

Do you think the government has the right to decide were people can and can not live?
No, but someone who lives in a dangerous area is their responsibility, not the government's. However I don't think people with people in the household that could not live somewhere else should be able to live in dangerous areas without the consent of everyone in the household. If you live alone, your choice.
Answer to:
Do people who choose not to vote, have a right to say what goes on in the government? I don't think so, do you?
People under voting age who have shown interest in government and have some sense, e.g. a 15 year old who has good ideas. Also REFORMED felons who have been out of prison, continuously, for at least 10 years, and people who cannot vote due to factors beyond their control, e.g. someone who is confined to their home for health reasons. These people should get a say.

Should a parent make a middle teen go to church if he doesnt want to, or let him be? Parent wants the kid to have some faith and religion.
I was made to go to church as a child (under 10) a few times (no bad intentions). I ended up getting a strict, uptight view of church, and I'm not a fan of strict and uptight. I didn't go to church regularly then. At age 16, I made the decision to go to church (my best friends drive me there), and I've gone continuously since Fall 2009.

On top of that, a lot of us grew up with Windows, it's reasonably stable (except ME of course...bleck) and it has a wide variety of games which Mac just can't compete with.

If you could be Judge & Jury, what would you do to a convicted pedophile or rapist to ensure justice was served?
Put them in a very secure jail with lots of traps and walls, and then make that jail not a fun place to be.
Answer to:
What does Pedophile mean?
A psychiatric disorder in which an adult or late adolescent (16+) is attracted sexually to children, usually age under 16 (this age varies depending on age of consent). If the person being attracted to is an adolescent close in age to the attracted 16+ adolescent (within 2-3 years or so) it is not normally considered pedophilia.
That is the definition of pedophile to the best of my knowledge.

You own a business. a man or woman applies for a job. everything looks good, except five years of persons past life. he/she tells you they were in prison. in your mind, would this automatically disqualify this person?
Depends on the crime and the time of serving and how good of a person they seemed today. If it was a relatively minor crime in 1988, I wouldn't care. But if it was 2nd degree murder and he'd gotten out of jail in 2008 and hadn't cleaned up his life, yes it would.

I am 16 and a Generation Y member. I feel that indeed, some members of my generation are mean and don't act right, but I am not disgusted with the generation as a whole. I've met a lot of bad members from my generation and a lot of good members. Overall though I'd say it's a decent generation, but there are many "bad apples".

Are fathers who kill kids after losing their jobs akin to some mothers who have abortions? --- Fear of not being able to take care of their kids. Are both understandable?
Both are very inhumane and immoral but the father killing the child is MUCH worse, and even worse beyond that if the child tries to defend him/herself and the father makes an effort to quash the child's defences and kill him/her anyway.
