Answer to:
if ever in a situation were you had to cut off both of your legs with a knife to survive, would you?
One of those things you can't really know the answer to, until it happens, at least for me. If I had to guess, I think I wouldn't be able to do it, even with the promise of death. I have absolutely no tolerance for pain and I'm not sure I'm strong enough to cut through bone anyways. But who knows, people act differently in extreme situations.
Answer to:

Answer to:
What is a really good book for a 13 year old tomboy to read
When people see the books I read, they usually say I'm either a tomboy, weird, or crazy, and I'm not sure which book is which most of the time. Some of them have 'mature' content and some are often found as part of school curriculum. Personally I try to read any book that sounds good before a teacher can make me do all the chapter reviews and boring classroom stuff, because it ruins the book...
Answer to:
Have you ever read a book that really gave you the Heebie-Jeebies?
Twilight. Not scary in the horror kind of way, that stuff doesn't really get to me. Twilight creeps me out because Edward reminds me of three different guys who were dating people close to me, and all of them were abusive. If you wrote out descriptions of the personalities and behaviours of each of those three guys and Edward, I would not be able to tell them apart. And the justification is the...

If a crazed gunman begins shooting people at random,if he was facing the other way; Would you tackle him if you could ? Or hide? run? what?
Knowing how I usually react in scary situations, I think I'd freeze up, but I've been lucky enough to avoid anything as bad as a crazed gunman so I can't really say for sure.

Do you enjoy getting attention, wheter negative or positive?
Well, it's not so much enjoying negative attention, exactly - more like, any attention is better than none. Not good, just not as bad. It's more about insecurity than enjoyment in that case.
Answer to:
Imagine this. You're in the middle of the desert, there is nothing around, absolutely nothing. Suddenly you hear a door slam.. How would you react?
Well, if I'm in the middle of the desert, I'd imagine it would be an auditory hallucination, which I experience fairly frequently. So I'd probably be somewhat jumpy and paranoid after that, and look around every half-minute, just to make sure.

What do you do when someone close to you has bad breath?
Depends on who I'm dealing with. A closer friend or family member, I lightly tease them, so they know without creating an awkward situation. An acquaintance or stranger, I just discreetly move away a bit. Or hold my breath.

Who was your favorite teacher of your entire school career? Why?
Ms Singh, because I was in the lower grade in a 5/6 split class, but she gave me grade 6 work half the time because I got so bored with stuff I already knew. She was strict, but she had a sense of humor most kids didn't bother to see, and she didn't fuss over technicalities like most teachers. If I did a good job on my work, I got good marks, even if I misinterpreted the assignment....

LOL, I just got one because I'm in online schooling, but I haven't ever had any other big wish besides a drum kit, and my parents won't let me get one because we live in an apartment with fussy neighbours and hardly any space for our Rock Band drums, never mind a real set of drums.

The internet. My parents are very busy people, and between two younger siblings I don't tend to get too much time with them. I got my first cell phone at 11, and I'm 15 now. It really depends on why they need a cell. Are they simply pestering for one? Tell them to use a pay phone, the home phone, or instant messengers. If they are frequently out of the house and you sometimes have trouble reaching them, or they forget to call you, then I'd say a cell phone is a good idea. More important than whether or not...

My boyfriend got really mad because i said punk music was white music (he's white/i'm black). He called me a bigot and threw me out of his house. When I told him that his behavior was extreme, he said i deserved for not dropping it. Should I end it?
Well, I don't think you should be throwing around racist comments too casually, but it sounds like he has some anger management issues. Maybe you should tell him to work out his own life before letting him into yours.

For me, personally, brave, because chances are I'll have an anxiety attack if I go alone. It's hard enough when I'm not alone! For anyone else, it's just... Normal...

How do you feel about Open Relationships? dont you just want them all to yourself? im trying to figure out what to do since i found out my bf was cheating on me and then suggested an open relationship... but dont wanna share
My parents are in an open relationship. It works for them, but it won't work for everyone. If you are reluctant, take things slow - very slow! Make sure he knows your limits and comfort level, and ease into the idea. If you really don't want to share, tell him you won't.

When Satan is released from the center of the Earth, or thrown down from Heaven(the bible says both will happen), will he make a grand entrance in a major metropolitan area, or make his landing/exit in the woods, and kill/possess any witnesses?
Neither, because he will never come. He'll check things out from a mystical all-seeing orb from the Underworld or something, and decide that he's more comfortable in his current position.

My daughter is in 9th grade. She has difficulty with science concepts. My husband and I didn’t go to college and so we’re not able to help her. What can we do?
Most high schools have in-school programs, such as open study sessions or student tutoring programs. Until then, I'm in grade 10 and a very good student. I'd be willing to tutor online until you can find another resource if you like.
Answer to:
If your husband comes home from work, sits down. His stepdaughter goes to have a shower, but your husband gets mad, because he was going to.so he yells & screams & takes off to a public pool to shower,or better yet he won't shower for days?who's right?
He cannot assume that she knew he wanted the shower! If he flies off the handle just like that, maybe you should just treat him like a child, since he is acting so much like one! Tell him to either gain control over his little temper tantrums himself, or talk to a professional.

When a 9 month old is placed in front of a mirror w/a spot of rouge on his nose, will he touch the spot on the mirror because he wonders why the other child has a spot on his nose?
Probably he will touch his own nose because of the feeling of the rouge. If you redirect his attention to the mirror, he might. I don't know... But I will find out next week, since I will be visiting my cousin and his girlfriend, and they just happen to have a nine-month-old son!

When you are sad, and dont have many friends, what do you do to improve your life and the way you feel about yourself?
You write a list of your good qualities, or do something that makes you happy. For me, that was writing. You go to family members or the few friends you have, or join a group or club or attend a church, if you're religious. Join one that caters to you. If you are interested in, say, knitting, see if there is a knitting circle or class at the rec centre. Search online through a site like...
Answer to:
What do you think is the absolutely worst thing one can do to a fellow human being?
Each person will have their own 'worst' torture. I think the worst would be mind games. To turn everyone against a person, to turn the person against themselves because they have been told so many times that they deserve to be turned against. To destroy a person's spirit in such a way.

I sometimes have strange urges like that. Not animal-like, per se, but I will suddenly feel compelled to, for example, touch something or chase something. I have no idea why; maybe it's a part of being ADHD or something.

Did you know any multiples growing up? (Twins, triplets) Did they get along?
The girl I have a crush on has a twin. They're pretty distant, because the one I like has psychosis, and she's spent a lot of time away from home (in hospitals, specialty schools, etc) and they didn't run with the same circle of friends at any point, really. They get along just fine, but they aren't as close as most people assume when they hear 'twins'.

Did you have fun parents growing up? What kinds of things did they do with you?
My parents are very young, and very fun, particularly my mum. She had me at age 17, and growing up, she would lose her patience often, as she was less prepared for parenthood and had my brother a year after, but she has a very youthful spirit. Sometimes, she's cooler than me! She is the type of mom who gives up her own spending money to buy a Wii over a new jacket - and that was for her,...

That depends. Are there witnesses? Any specific place I have to hit, force I need to use, reaction I need to cause? If I am sure I can get away with it, and convinced I'm not being put on (and I'm not easy to convince in that matter) then yea, I'd do it.

My nana (mom's mom) would always threaten my mother and her siblings that she would come after them with a wooden spoon! She never did, but once she whacked it on the kitchen counter so hard she broke it!
My mother and father have both smacked me upside the head, not abusively, only when I've really done something terrible (like the time I pushed my brother onto the street on the way...

I say, what an interesting topic. I babysat for a family once, and one of the boys had autism. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to get to know him. I was babysitting his two siblings.
Autism is something I would like very much to study, if I could find a better resource for the specifics. I would especially like an opportunity to meet an autistic person.

What did you hate most about the first day of school?
In lower elementary school, the total boredom that comes with being a gifted child in a regular classroom. Upper elementary stressed me out, since I knew it would be another year of disappointing my mom because I couldn't keep the promise that I wouldn't get myself suspended. First year of high school, nothing bad, just anticipation and excitement. Second year, curiosity and anxiety...

Actually, I told her on commercial break during Scrubs, which we always watch together. She didn't even bat an eye! My dad was a bit different, he laughed, then raised his...

As 2 others have mentioned before, PFLAG is great. (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) If you want to show him your support, you could mention the pride parade or anything similar. For people who are truly bisexual: Do you think it is insulting that there is trend to be bisexual?
Not insulting so much as infuriating and degrading. It's the same as repressing the fact that you are gay in my opinion. Just treat her like you would any new friend, and that goes for any date or new relationship. Friendship is the foundation of all relationships, after all. Ask about her hobbies, family, etc and tell her about yourself. If you are really having trouble starting up a conversation, take her to the movies. Once you've sat down it's 2 hours of silence and darkness. No reason to be shy...
Answer to:
I'm bisexual and a homosexual was badmouthing me on my sexuality, does this not make him a hypocrite?
Not necessarily... It's wrong, but that doesn't make it hypocritical. It would be if he were bi, but you said he's gay. If he's gay and discriminates against bisexuals, that itself isn't hypocritical. But if he were to carry around a picket sign saying something about equality towards people with different sexual orientations, that is hypocritical.

Answer to:
What is the best response to a child earnestly asking 'why are you a lesbian?"
Well, I'm 15, and a couple of kids who I have babysat have asked this (usually about 9 or ten) and even my own sister. My initial response is always "Why not?" out of simple reflex. Usually I get something like "It's not normal." Or, "Girls are supposed to like boys!" To which I reply, "Why? Who says?" It really depends on how old the child is....
Answer to:
I think it is okay for gays to have relationships even be married, but I don't think I agree with them raising children. What are your thoughts on this?
I think it is definitely ok. A) the world is full of children who need homes, why not open up a whole new set of possibilities? B) being raised by homosexuals might stop, or at least lessen the intense flow of hatred and homophobia seen in schools. At this point, I LITERALLY can't walk through the school halls without hearing the word 'fag' used as slang at least once - and...

What do you think about dog barking shock collars? inhumane?
It really depends on the situation. My ex had a deaf dog, and the shock collar was set not to reach any painful voltages. Every day, they would test it on their wrists to make sure the setting was ok. In some cases, shock collars are definitely used cruelly, but in many, such as that of my ex, they are necessary and perfectly safe. Like any potential weapon, the shock collars aren't...

Can you name all the famous and real vampires in history or myth? And if you can, can you name the vampire's history and background?
I don't think anybody can answer accurately, because peoples' beliefs on what is real and what isn't vary quite a bit. What makes anything in history or myth real? I can't honestly say that anything definitely happened unless I was present. We base truth off of eyewitness accounts, logical reasoning, and other clues. While something might be widely accepted as true or real,...

What is the number one rule of thumb when fleeing zombies?
Always befriend somebody slower than you. ALWAYS have a friend who you can trip. Don't blow the 'friend' act! Not until the last minute, when they die. You need them; they are your shield. As long as you keep them nearby, near enough to push or trip, you have a mobile decoy.

What truly disturbs you about society today?
The fact that more and more I see authority figures (schooling systems, government, parents) allowing and even encouraging young people to follow the wrong path. Do you think it is inappropriate for a 5 y/o to tell the famiy dog to "stop licking your balls"? What would be a better word for her to use?
Many professionals agree that using false, kid-friendly names for genitalia (ie, wee-wee for penis) is not the best way to go! Use the proper names, and explain to your child why some people might frown upon talk of 'private parts' rather than trying to cover everything up.

I was a girl scout, in Brownies. It was good and bad; good because I was in the same troop as my half-sister and made some friends, bad because I frequently got in trouble due to ADHD, which nobody knew about then! I'd say the experience is what you make it, but it can definitely be a great opportunity.
