In most modern cars the voltage regulator is built into the alternator. In some older cars the voltage regulator is separate. You could check this out by looking at a repair manual. What subject did you suck at in school? I didn't like my biology teacher so I didn't do very well. I think that if I had a better teacher I would have enjoyed the classes more and graded better since I did really well in chemistry, physics and all of the math classes.

What premix ratio should I use on my 1977 Yamaha GT80 two-stroke? The oil injection pump has long since been removed. Your best bet would be to buy 2-stroke motorbike oil from your local hardwarestore/bike shop and mix it to the ratio recommended on the back. If the oil bottle says mix it at 40:1 than the manufacture designed the oil to be mixed that way. There are often additives used that would really gunk up your engine if you double the oil by running 20:1 or something like that.

All you have to do is tell the rental company that you will be taking the car out of state or even out of the country. I've rented cars in Canada and taken them through the states. I have a 1999 4runner w/ 116k miles, I just replaced the back shocks b/c it felt as though the tail end was bottoming out over the slightest bumps. The new shocks helped but only a little bit. What else could be leaving that floating fe If the backend is sagging than it's probably just worn out springs. When my Toyota 4Runner is warmed up and I am stopped at a light, the idle will start to surge up and down. What could cause this? It is most likely a vaccuum leak. So check the vaccuum hoses. Most 4runner have a vaccuum advance so at idle it advances the timing a bit. The other problem may be that it's an exhaust leak. I don't know why but if your manifold or y-pipe is leaking it could cause this symptom. I think this is less likely though.
