Answer to:
Why do you suppose ANYBODY believed Joseph Smith?
The Book of Mormon was an attempt to 'rationalize' the Bible. Much of it was copied directly FROM the Bible because it fitted Smith's vision of what God was doing. Many more verses show a 19th century attempt to 'clarify' the message of Scripture. I must admit I've been tempted to write a 21st Century version of Genesis myself. But unlike Smith, I wouldn't try to palm it off as the real thing,...

I'd walk into the bank and return what wasn't mine. Minus a 10% finder's fee of course!
Oh, and a 5% collection fee for having to collect and return the money.
Also another 5% fee for the time involved that I had to take in order to do this service for the bank.
And another 5% for having to consider how many fees I'm going to have to consider charging them.

Do you think America is a little bit full of themselves?
America (singular) can hardly be full of 'themselves' (plural). Americans have from time to time been a bit obnoxious about who they are, but until we were taken over by Authoritarians, we really DID have something to crow about. Unfortunately, we're becoming more 'European' in outlook every year nowadays.

Answer to:
As you sow, so shall you reap - Can this be implied even in the case of humans killing animals for food?
You might want to think that through. When you lots of sow seeds you get lots of return on your 'investment'.
But killing animals isn't sowing, is it? It's reaping. You're only looking at half of the equation.
Now if you included breeding livestock as part of the question, then killing the animals for food becomes the logical means of harvest.

Interesting. At first I thought this was an analogy to God's gift of eternal life to all who simply ask. He too gave a very expensive Gift, and many people ignore, or even spit on it.
Does God get angry over it? No. But an unclaimed gift does the recipient no good at all. That loss is all the punishment needed.

Faith is not belief without 'proof'. It is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It requires one to perceive things beyond gross material senses.

If there was NO TIME before Big Bang, does it mean that the Universe ALWAYS existed? Read Description.
We have no reason to believe that time can cross between 'universes' like gravity can. Our universe is essentially a 'bubble' filled with time. We don't KNOW if there's a 'hyper-time' beyond our universe, and we don't know at what rate such a 'time' would pass.

It's not just health nazis. Our govt has been taken over by corporate and union lobbyists. There IS an Illuminati group, and the Bilderbergers are far more than a simple social club.

You can get a 'decent' wage lots of ways. Look for some sites that offer personality tests which tell what YOU would be best at and choose from them. The Church does not breed morality, culture does. (Explain)
The Church can only provide a pointer to a bare minimum of morality. It is up to the individual to accept or deny that standard. The culture both takes its cue from the individual, and molds the individual to accept whatever single standard is prevalent. Much of what the Church gets blamed for is in truth the result of cultural pressure applied to the individual.

Neither. Atheists choose not to live with God forever. That's a choice, not something to be forgiven. There may be a period of discomfort, but it is not eternal. Society is judged by how it treats its most helpless members. Who is more helpless? The adult woman carrying the child, or the child him/herself?

Why bash so much on Satan and not on God?
The children of Satan don't bash their daddy. They defend his name, and twist the truth just as he would. You can see many examples of that here on this question. Saying that Satan doesn't kill is like saying Don Corleone never killed anyone who crossed him.

Science tells us that humanity came from one set of genetic parents, apparently somewhere in Africa. Is it so hard to believe those people had a single language? Can God ask human being to do that which is immoral(like rape or murder)? If so why so, if not why not?
No. By definition, whatever God says to do is moral, at least that one time. But it would be irresponsible to simply accept a command which would normally be considered immoral without making darn sure it's God speaking, and not a mental illness or an 'angel of light'.
Answer to:
Why is fornication considered as immoral as murder and rape by religions?
Probably because ALL sin is equal in God's view. We make distinctions between 'better' and 'worse' sin, but God is absolutely perfect, and sees ANY sin as an unacceptable imperfection.

Should the paranoid religious hate words like 'sin' and 'evil' be treated like the bigoted prejudices that they are and be banned?
I think you're the one loading those words with hate. "Sin" simply means missing the mark. If you can't deal with your own imperfection, that sounds like a personal problem to me. And if you think calling the Holocaust 'evil' is a bigoted statement, what does that make you?

Possibly because he finally understood that he would not be allowed to continue pressing for his 9 9 9 agenda. If the next year is spent defending against even spurious charges, he won't be able to push for what America needs.

Why do people have kids when they can't manage their own personal lives let alone a relationship?
Because society has convinced them that sex and children are totally unrelated. Add that to the materialistic 'I want it NOW' attitude we learn from advertisers, it's hardly surprising. What goes around comes around. Society wanted to get rid of God and personal responsibility. Congratulations. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

I haven't fried chicken since my dad had his first heart attack. I cut the chicken up, put it in a fryer with just enough water to cover the bottom, cover, and let it steam for a half hour or so. I've used anything from Italian spices to BBQ sauce to mustard and rosemary for flavor. Try it! It's good!

When did America lose its way?
That happened in multiple stages, probably beginning near the Civil War era when we started to allow the Federal Govt to accrete power, and the Lobbying system was born. Why would God destroy the beautifully wonderful earth in 2012?.....Would a scientist destroy the cure for Cancer?
God will not destroy the earth in 2012. Man might, but even that is unlikely. The Mayan Calendar just resets that year. I don't recall what the I Ching says, but human destiny is generally in human hands. And the Earth will outlast us regardless of what prideful men may say.

If a scientist discovered a cure for cancer, do you think his superiors would cure a few of their friends, kill the scientist and destroy
Nah. No need for that. If it was a cheap and easy cure, they'd just label him a quack and ostracize him for the rest of his life. If it is expensive and can earn lots of money for Big Pharma, hell yeah they'd laud him as the Second Coming.

Govt doesn't hold a gun to anyone's head and say 'you must get pregnant'. Women DO control their own bodies. But you people demand they have the right to destroy a CHILD'S body. Big difference there. Does "love thy neighbor" only apply to those who look, think, act, believe as you do? Where is that written?
No. Jesus gave us the example of the Good Samaritan. Our neighbor is whoever needs our help. But I have a question for you. Is it loving to enable a drug abuser to continue in his lifestyle? Or is that a form of hate, since that lifestyle will eventually KILL him? Loving our neighbor doesn't mean tolerating the sin in their lives. It means lifting them out of that sin and showing them a better...
Answer to:
Wonder why those who believe in God question His judgment. They think they know better than He does. Why don't they love thy neighbor?
I doubt they purposely question His judgment. They simply do not understand and/or do not apply the lessons in the Bible to their lives. Unfortunately, Christians are sinful human beings just like anyone else, and we have not yet reached the perfection we aspire to. Sadly, we will not reach that perfection while we live in this world. We can only try to improve one day at a time.

I'm not sure what you're saying. Which babe and which Mary? If you're saying that Jesus was free of sin because His mother Mary was, you've missed the point of the Incarnation entirely. That Mary was gifted with sinlessness in preparation, to be an acceptable vessel for the Holy Spirit to utilize.

Should a wife and a husband divorce only because of adultery as the bible says or should they have another reasons to divorce? Why?
It's not just adultery. It's ANY kind of sexual sin. A woman who forces her husband into involuntary celibacy is just as guilty of sexual sin as an adulteress.
Answer to:
Should a wife divorce/leave her husband if he slaps her for cursing/degrading him? I say usually no, you? why
He should follow up by divorcing HER. She obviously doesn't know how to fight fair. Unless SHE is willing to change that, he should say 'bye bye'.

Yeah, you're mental. Unfortunately it's not uncommon. People also 'sabotage' themselves just as they begin getting ahead in life. You can address the problem in one of two ways. You can take the spiritual path, seeking help from God and spiritual elders, or you can take the materialistic path, seeing doctors and psychologists/psychiatrists. Whichever path you choose, you have a lot of work...
Answer to:
Christians tell me that God has answered my prayers by saying wait. I have waited for 40 years and so how can I be expected to believe that he will one day answer my prayer. Some prayers it's too late for him to answer. Can someone explain that?
Without any idea what your prayer was or what answer would satisfy you, all I can really do is ask how you expect God to answer you? If you're waiting for a voice from the sky, forget it. That almost never happens. But many answers can be found in your daily Scripture readings, and in your conversations with Godly men (humans) in your life.

Answer to:
The Bible says that a day can be a thousand years in the eyes of God, God does not have a since of time that is like ours. Is it possible that the seven days that God took to make creation may have taken thousands or maybe millions of years in Gods eyes?
It's not that God doesn't have a sense of time, it's that He exists OUTSIDE of time, at least time as we know it. So yes, the 7 Days of Creation can easily be interpreted as 'Heavenly days', especially since the first day took place before the earth even existed. 'In the Beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth' is a title or header concept. 'Let There Be Light' refers to the Big Bang.

Excellent question. I've been reading a book that should be required reading for all of mankind, The Mainspring of Human Progress, by HG Weaver. As a result, those around them react to their attitude by resisting, even shunning such a person. The net effect of this is that their actions are indeed resisted, seemingly by the world at large. The proud end up working harder than they need to, because in a...

Straight Guys: How many of you have kissed another man just to see what it's like? How was it? How many would like to try but haven't?
When I was a teen in a Catholic school, one of the 'Brothers', one visiting from India, gave me this big song and dance about how he'd never kissed anyone. Ever. And he wanted to see what it was like. I told him to find a girl and ask her, but he said he couldn't. So I figured, what the hell, actors do it all the time, right? So I gave him the biggest bus I could manage. LMAO He called for days...

This is only a guess, as Scripture doesn't address the issue. But I suspect our 'age' will depend on our spiritual maturity. Some will be mere children. Some will have gray hair, which will be a sign of honor. But no one will be decrepit.

Matthew Vadum thinks registering poor people to vote is un-American “like handing out burglary tools to criminals” Agree/disagree why?
He has a point. Rome fell partly because its citizens realized they could vote themselves 'bread and circuses' at no 'cost' to them. Problem is, that's not really possible. If voters do not have a genuine stake in the rational operation of the nation, they WILL vote for their own short-term interests, regardless of the long-term effects. Poor people wish to get welfare, free healthcare, etc....

I see no need for anger. She violated her marriage covenant between herself, you, and God. That gives you the right to forgive or divorce at YOUR discretion. So divorce the b*tch. But don't let her infidelity harm you. Just walk away.

What would you do as a mother if your daughter came home w/hickies on her breast @age 7, and said she liked being touched by a man?
If she's still saying it was a little girl now that she's 23, it's likely she's telling the truth. Some kids really are very precocious, and she might have gotten an early start. MTV really is a tool of the Devil. Regardless, it's way too late to do anything about it now. Tell her that you believe her and try to repair your relationship with her NOW.

Do you believe The Holy Spirit lives within every living spirit or did He exist within Jesus Christ’s existence only?
Neither. The Holy Spirit indwells those whom He has foreknown and chosen before the world was created. Unfortunately, He does not appear to indwell you at all:
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

What do you think God created in Revelation 19:20 "a the fiery lake of burning sulfur"?
"These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."
No reference to 'hot water' there at all. Once you start interpreting, anything can happen. I can say it was a lake of low quality gasoline with high sulfur content, and I would be closer to the truth than you are.
But since this is actually a spiritual reference, the 'fire' is not the chemical reaction you seem to be...

Do you know where you went wrong in your life and are now powerless to do anything about it?
Yah. It's amazing how just TWO perfectly understandable decisions can screw you up so thoroughly.
1) The high school I chose sent me down a path I was not designed to follow.
2) The woman I married lied to me about her wants and needs until there were innocent children involved, and I was effectively trapped by my own sense of morality with someone completely incompatible with MY wants and needs.

Answer to:
When it's really cold, can you pull the covers or sleeping bag over your head and still get enough oxygen?
I usually form a 'tunnel' to breathe thru when it's cold out. That way you get warm(ish) fresh air AND the warmth of the bag. You can vary the length of the 'tunnel' to control air temp.
Answer to:
It is commonly stated that leaving a sleeping bag in the compression sack for "extended periods of time" causes damage to the insulation/zippers. But what is considered an "extended period of time" - is it 1 day, a few days, 1 week, or more? - thanks!
Nonsense. I've had sleeping bags wrapped tight for decades at a time.

Minimum wage is not designed for heads of household. So yes. If I get to start fresh at age 18 with no responsibilities, I would be more than happy to take minimum wage. It's DESIGNED as an entrance-way into the work environment.
Answer to:
Why should a rich person have to give away his or her riches if he or she earned them through hard work?
He shouldn't HAVE to. But he should be willing to give to the poor. Not only does it help those who need help, which is a Good Thing [TM] in itself, but it also opens our own soul up to our fellow man, making us better human beings.

Racism seems to be on the rise! Especially blacks on jews! Your thoughts!
If so, it's because Liberals have been making such an issue of racism over the last few years. They have a very strange way of looking at racism. They seem to believe that ONLY White people can be racist. Racists like Maxine Waters, Jesse Jackson, and Louis Farrakhan are somehow exempt.
Perceived hypocrisy is a great way to ignite real racism. IF America undergoes another racist phase, it...

Does anyone else find the tears of racing fans a bit disingenuous? They jump to their feet relishing crashes after all?
You have to realize that race cars are built to protect their occupants through almost anything. So any accident will be spectacular, but normally harmless. The most a driver is likely to suffer is a dent in his reputation. But when a real injury occurs, it's another story entirely. Suddenly there's a real human cost, and that really is important. So no, it's not disingenuous. No one is...

Why do people cut themselves?
Low self-esteem. People buy into the idea that you get self esteem from 'attaboys' from others. This is a lie of our liberal educational system. You get self-esteem from acknowledging your own accomplishments, not from other people telling you you're a good person.

Why dont the Palestinians get out of Israel and move to one of those other Muslim countries that surrounds Israel?
From time to time people post statements showing they do not know the history of that land:
From 1517-1917 Turkey's Ottoman Empire controlled a vast Arab empire, a portion of which is today Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine. During World War I (1914-1918), Turkey supported Germany. When Germany was defeated, so were the Turks. In 1916 control of the southern portion of their Ottoman Empire...

Do you believe "freedom of religion" means "freedom to choose one of the many denominations of Christianity, Muslims and Atheists GTFO"?
Basically, yes. The Founding Fathers understood that people could only be expected to govern themselves well in a basically Christian environment. They wanted to avoid the abuses they saw in Europe, so that no particular denomination could rule over the government. But they recognized the need to have a loving relationship with their Creator. In fact, the battle against 'the shores of Tripoli'...

Why is Islam Evil and Immoral
Because it was delivered to Mohammad not by Gabriel as he supposed, but by Lucifer masquerading as an angel of light. Revelation speaks of the religions of the Last Days as women. The Woman who bore the child was Israel, the Bride of Christ is Christianity. The Whore of Babylon is Islam, and she is indeed drunk with the blood of the saints.

If there is but 1 Supreme God, which is the Father, why are there so many "christian churches" and why should I choose one over another?
There is one God, and He is supreme. However, there are many human beings, none of which are identical. Religions are Man's way of reaching out to God. Each of us must find our own way to Him. Many churches means we have many possible paths, all of which are capable of introducing you to Him, which is their true function.

The 'robed skeleton' with the scythe was first 'seen' in Medieval Europe. Some say they were aliens spreading poison on the ground, possibly in an effort to kill off the fleas spreading the plague. Nothing whatever to do with spiritual Salvation.

Should we get rid of teachers unions, teacher tenures, and overall just start firing bad teachers?
Yes. Teacher's Unions have very little to do with helping kids. They are more about giving more political power and money to the Democrat Party. Teacher's tenure is nothing more than an 'easy chair' to give certain teachers 'immunity' in the sense of a certain game show.
And why on earth would we want to hang onto bad teachers who cannot do the job?

Wool is a rough fabric with good insulation properties. Linen is a fine fabric but a poor insulator. First, mixing them would give the worst of both types. But really, those fabrics are a picture of mixing the spiritual with the profane. You cannot get good results when you attempt to prove spiritual truths with physical sciences. A right to life, a right to choose; a right to vote, to work, to strike; a right to one phone call, to dissolve parliament, to asylum, to equal treatment before the law, to feel proud of what one has done; what rights are of primary importance to you?
The right to live free. Life as a slave is no life at all. A free man has all the rights - and responsibilities - he needs.

Assuming that all creatures have a right to life, do you feel that they forfeit that right when they enter another animal's domain, and feed off of their resources? Like rodents in your home. Do you feel justified in trapping and killing them?

eternity following The Last Judgment?
That job was done long ago.

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Answer to:
Which one of the following religious leaders is your preference to worship?
Once again, your premise is off. God/Jesus/YHWH is not a 'religious leader'. People who are/were acknowledged leaders in a religion are 'religious leaders'. Religions are MAN's attempt to reach out to God. Therefore anything God does to reach out to man is the opposite of religion.

No. But interestingly enough, the same cannot be said of the Qur'an. Mohammad claimed to be a prophet, but he fails the tests of a prophet. You can get free holy books from most any church/temple/mosque. Just ask!
But the book won't be sufficient. You have to develop an actual personal relationship with the God of the Universe. Approach Him humbly and honestly, and He will show you which way to go.
If you can. Lots of trolls around, and smart-asses will never find Him.

Christianity will be 'saved' only by the God who authorized it. No amount of human machinations will do anything to save God's work.
Christianity isn't about numbers. It's about a relationship with God. So in a sense, yes going back to the fundamentals of our Faith will save US. But God will always reserve a remnant for Himself, as He has done in every generation. Christianity is in no danger.

If I were to hear that he was dropping his insane ideas and would now be acting as a true President of the United States, I'd be suspicious, but hopeful.

Why are sacrifice offerings of food, money, and the Eucharist
considered to worship God?
The Eucharist is not a sacrifice, it CELEBRATES the sacrifice of Jesus some 2000 years ago. If anything, it connects us to that Sacrifice on Calvary throughout all time and space. I don't know what offerings of food you're talking about, that ended with the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD. But tithes and offerings are an act of obedience, an opportunity to offer your Time, your Talent, and...

Do people who call themselves Christian yet make insulting and disparaging comments about Allah, not realize that they are blaspheming against their own deity, the God of Abraham? Or is their hatred such that they really just don't care?
Allah is a very different being from YHWH. Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of YHWH. Allah neither begets nor is begotten. YHWH is constant and unchanging. Allah is unknowable and capricious. YHWH says Thou Shalt not kill. Allah says to kill disbelievers. Which makes little sense, as ALL are disbelievers until God enlightens their hearts. It's too bad Mohammad didn't know to test the spirit that...

In every other field, they say, 'follow the money'. But when it comes to areas where our lives, our liberty, and our fortunes are concerned, we've been hypnotized to look the other way. Problems cannot be fixed if they are not acknowledged. Calling everything a 'conspiracy theory' serves no one but those who would be our masters. Wake UP people!

No. It would be converted to Cherenkov radiation as it reached C.

Who wants to guess where the paper origami airplane, to be tossed out of the International Space Station, will land?
http://www.pinktentacle.com/2008/01/origami-spaceplane-to-launch-from-space-station/
It won't land. It will merely take up a parallel orbit with the space station. It would need braking thrusters to leave its orbit, and paper airplanes don't HAVE braking thrusters. It'll be a cute little piece of space flotsam orbiting the station.

Global Warming Debate: Rather than argue, should we just all agree we need non-oil based energy platform and work towards the solution?
Yes we should. Petrochemicals can and should be switched out for algae power systems. With all the deserts we have, there is far more than enough energy to fuel the entire planet. Corn is a joke. Wind and solar are nice, and on a small scale even useful. Nuclear will never be 'safe' until we can come up with a real solution to nuclear waste. But the real future is in algae.

If she wants to change her life, and wishes to start with a clean slate, that might be a good idea. But generally people only do that when the police know about them and have been looking for them. If she's just trying to escape from life, there are better options. Perhaps she can get into the forest service or work at a day camp. There's a place in life for everyone, if they just look for it.

C/ Save jobs by supporting companies - Economies are not powered by govt. They're powered by free enterprise. We've been 'doing it wrong' for well over 50 years now.
B/ Save people from their mortgages & debt - But not the way we've been doing it. We need to repeal the Financial Services Modernization Act that struck down the protections of the 1933 Glass Steagall Act. Right now we are...

Yes, we should. The irony is that they are doing what we USED to do before Socialist Social Engineers stuck their noses in the machinery of our market economy. Abortion/mercy killing/war. Anything good there? The targets all wind up dead, correct? Which, if any, is a good death?
Abortion is always the killing of an innocent person. How can that ever be a good thing?
Mercy killing is only possible when someone has taken on the responsibility of a god. I'm not convinced any human being has the authority to do that.
War is different. Wars of self defense are necessary for the protection of the innocent. But war of aggression is always evil and can never be justified.

Is it fair for one country to control all the oil in the world?
Of course not. But who said life was fair? But there's a bright side. If only one country controlled all the oil, that would provide great incentive for all other countries to come up with alternative forms of energy. Then when that oil runs out, the one country that did nothing to look to the future would be the country that failed due to lack of energy.
So I suppose fair is fair. lol.

If when we die, we go to heaven or hell ...isn't that being judged by God? If we are judged at death...what is the Judgment day the Bible refers to at Acts 17:31, that transpires in the "future"?
"It is given unto Man once to die, and then the Resurrection."
We know that the dead are raised for judgment. And we know that the Second Death is reserved for those who reject the saving work of Christ. But wait. Those who accept Christ DIE with Him so that they may live with Him. So what are we to make of physical death? Jesus said that John the Baptist was Elijah. Which means Elijah was NOT...

His Death was preordained. I would have been unable to stop it in any case. So if I'm not allowed to stand by and record the event, I guess I'd help crucify Him. My sins already made it necessary anyway, and this way at least I'd be close enough to say 'I'm sorry'.

Answer to:
The Bible states that the day of Death is better than the day of Birth (For Believers). Why do so many view Death as a negative?
Appearances do count for a lot, even though by faith we know better. But it's more than that. We are to work while the day is here. Once we die, we can gain nothing more. So it's the closing of a door at least. Then again, we lose the companionship of those who pass on, at least until the Lord Returns. So yeah, it's still painful, even if it is temporary.

Why are many American students lacking knowledge of the world map and the location of countries around the world?
Why is Geography important? All you need is a simple globe to find any country you wish to name. We spend way too much time memorizing 'facts' that have NO BEARING on the lives we live. Meanwhile our schools neglect to teach our kids HOW TO LEARN. We have computers, maps, books, etc to hold facts for us. What we need is knowledge of how to access and process that data.

How is God tolerant? He doesn't like gays, lesbians, adulterers, polytheists, atheists, people of different religions, he doesn't like people who speak about his name. Those who do go to Hell. Isn't tolerance more of accepting rather than damning?
Where did you get the idea that God is 'tolerant'? Liberals claim to be 'tolerant', but only when it suits them. God does NOT tolerate sin. By His nature, He cannot. THAT is why Jesus had to take our punishment for us all. So that anyone who desired to be free of sin can be. But you have to WANT to repent. Otherwise He would be no better than a rapist.

Doubtful. The Judeo-Christian God is one, but the Hindu gods seem to be a completely different set of personalities. Buddhists don't have a god, and Muslims only think they worship the Judeo-Christian God. But the god described to Mohammad by "Gabriel" sounds a lot more like Lucifer than YHWH.

How come Indian Indians from India can still levitate, but Native American Indians can't shapeshift anymore?
There are several forms of shape shifting. Some depend on the use of costumes and such substances as peyote, others on acting skills and firelight. Some 'shape shifting' is a variation of an Out of Body Experience. And a while back I spoke with someone who claimed that he still retains the ability to physically shape shift. I never got any proof of that claim though.
Of course, Indian...

Answer to:
what do christians and buddhists believe about gay marriage? its for my school project
'Gay Marriage' is an oxymoron to Christianity. Yes, men can love one another, even as David and Jonathan did. But note that David was married, and even had illicit relations with Bathsheba, a woman. He was not 'gay'. His love for Jonathan was not the same as what modern men have twisted into the definition of 'love'. The physical union mimicked by homosexuals is a twisted parody of love. Jesus SAVES! Ok! I have been told what he saves us from (Hell) But who is he saving us from? What monster is going to burn us?
Our own sins will burn and destroy us. The monster of your own pride which has placed you on the throne reserved for God is destroying you. The Bible is not a run-of-the-mill book that just anyone can pick up and browse as they see fit. It is a love letter to His People. If you refuse to approach Him with humility, and accept Him on His terms, you will never understand the true content of the...

Satans sign is 666 and Jesus Christ is the Beast/False Prophet!
Has anyone ever seen this anywhere?
Not in that combination. But 666 is not Satan's sign. It is a numerological construct of three sixes, which signifies Man (represented by the number 6) trying to make himself God (represented by the number 3).
As to the idea that Jesus is the Beast, that's pure Karl Marx. "Accuse others of what you do."

Is this a modern day version of the scapegoat with the male's death?
The scapegoat and sacrificial lamb were instituted as a prefigure of the work of Christ. That's why Jesus is known as the 'Lamb of God'. But scapegoats didn't return after 40 days. You have pushed the prefigure too far in making that errant connection.

A rioter bringing a gun to a riot is basically asking to be killed. If you'll notice, the Watts Riots back in the '60's did NOT include that kind of warfare, even though a LOT of guns moved into the vicinity at that time. My dad even borrowed a gun then - just in case.

Why is the Devil a threat? If he was an angel before. And All angels where made by God. Why cant God unmake him ?
Satan is only a threat to those who reject what God has planned for us all. Yes, Satan is a spirit-being made by God. And once he has served his purpose, he will be placed in the 'Lake of Fire' for all of eternity. Nope. God isn't an angel. God is Creator/Source. Angels are created beings who choose to align their wills with Source. Demons are similar beings, but they have opted to follow their own wills. Satan was the first such being to realize that he COULD do something that actually opposed the Will of Source.

Your URL doesn't even MENTION Hal Lindsay. Try to set your hate aside at least long enough to come up with a cogent argument.
When did Hal Lindsay ever say 'thus sayith the Lord' on the matter? He didn't. A prophecy is only a prophecy when the prophet purports to speak in God's Name. When did Hal Lindsay ever say "God told me that He would return in 1988"? THAT would be a false prophecy. You...

No. God's Children do not reach an 'evil status'. They are washed in the Blood of the Lamb and have a Pure Status. If you are trying to insinuate that Jesus suffered in Hell you are gravely mistaken. He went there to conquer, not to suffer. The suffering was completed on the Cross.

Where do you get this 'blind faith' idea? It's certainly not Scriptural. If you wish to play the fool, that is your right. But your question has very little to do with real Christianity.

Is it wrong to bring the Bible into arguements when we only have blind faith to tell us if the Bible is right or not and there are other just as beleiveable religions in the world? Should there be a law to stop churches decriminating against people?

In Islam, was Jesus put on the cross but Allah took him away before he died. He was not technically 'crucified'. Who was put on the cross?
I've heard that their 'Jesus' changed places with Simon the Cyrenian, and laughed that he was able to trick his way out of the death He SAID he'd come to undergo. Obviously if he had actually done so, he would have been a liar and a murderer. Which tells us who passed this story off as truth to Mohammad.

My 18m old brings me all of her toys 1 at a time. If I give one back or put it down she gets upset. Does anyone know why she is doing this?
My granddaughter does the same to me. She wants to share her stuff with you. Acknowledge her and the toy, then ask her to put it back now. Make it part of the game, part of the process.
Answer to:
my son throws his terrible twos tantrums but it happens if i simply say no to something what should i do to control him? is this normal?
You have to catch that early. Yes when you say 'no', they will at some point experiment with using it themselves, and if it doesn't work for them, they are likely to get upset.
Laugh at them. Let them know there's more than just the word that must be mastered. Then change the subject and find a reason to hug/kiss/tickle/whatever.

I didn't say a word. I just opened my folder, and found my rough notes, but not the final draft, which I'd left at home. If I had the money, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

Sounds to me like you've been infected with a dinosaur meme by Big Business. Prius and other hybrids are a 'threat' to Big Oil. They're a start in a direction they don't want you to go. If you hate humanity, your feelings may make sense. Otherwise, you should probably check your news sources.

It is curious how many 'free energy' scientists have been shot at and otherwise harassed. It appears that there is indeed a concerted effort to block 'free energy' in all its forms from the general public. We'll never know. This is just one more reason why we should make ALL LOBBYIST MONEY ILLEGAL. If an idea is good, it doesn't need help. If it's bad, it shouldn't have that crutch. Did Jesus teach that Christians should despise atheists -or are too many Christians just being swayed by crank religious right preaching?
Jesus taught His disciples to love the sinner, not the sin. Of course, He also had some rather strong words for the Pharisees, so there is a limit to the amount of smartass sophism that should be put up with.

The word gypsum is derived from the Greek word γύψος gypsos, "chalk" or "plaster".[4] Because the gypsum from the quarries of the Montmartre district of Paris has long furnished burnt gypsum used for various purposes, this material has been called plaster of Paris.
Gypsum was known in Old English as spærstān, spear...

Before Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge, were they aware of God? See desc.
God and the Devil are not the same thing as the concepts of Good and Evil, so your premise is off. The Bible says that God spoke with Adam, at least, before they ate of the fruit. Therefore they DID know Him at that time, and they did know not to eat the fruit.

I suppose it depends on the tat. Small ones are fine, although they do tend to continue proclaiming one's ideas long after they have stopped caring about them. What is being done to stop whales from swallowing plastic bags and sweat pants?
Sweat pants?!?!
I knew sea turtles can confuse plastic bags and jellyfish, but I thought whales were smarter than that.
According to the article, though, the debris made up only 1 percent to 2 percent of the stomach contents, and there was no clear indication it caused the whale's death. The junk did show that the whale had tried to feed in industrial waters, however.
Answer to:
The Federal Court has ordered a Japanese whaling company to stop killing whales in Australian Antarctic waters. Good decision (even though action cannot be taken) or diplomatic disaster?
It's a good step in the right direction. But sending ships to intervene will only awaken Japanese nationalism and make them want to kill whales out of simple pride. Better to attack using the Media and to get the average Japanese citizen to realize just how bad whaling makes them look to the world. Again, it's using their own pride, but in a far more effective manner.

To get the stranded Whales off of the beach: the forks of the fork lift contraption could be made as heavy duty slings, (attached to a tug boat) this then pullsl the whales into deeper waters?
Ever try getting a tugboat that close to a beach? How about just using a net to roll the whale onto a canvas sled, then pulling that into the water? Or use those big rubber rollers they use for getting barges back into the water. (similar to the 'Donkey Dick' long ball pneumatic test plug.)
But the real problem is that whales usually beach themselves when they have parasites that interfere...

Yes, religion has been abused that way. But God isn't religion, and blaming God for the free will actions of selfish, self-serving men is foolish. Can a venus fly trap digest human flesh?
I suppose it could, if it were a small piece, like the skin you can trim off with a toenail clipper. Then you can truly call it a man-eating plant. But it's not like it can take a bite on its own. It can only close gently on your fingertip. Easy to pull away from.

Answer to:
If only our soul goes up to Heaven or Hell and our body stays on Earth, surely our pain in Hell will be emotional and not physical?
The soul that chooses Life goes to Heaven, where it awaits the First Resurrection, at which time it will be reunited with its physical body. But it appears the soul destined for Hell sleeps until the 2nd Resurrection, at which time it will be reunited with the body and destroyed in the Lake of Fire. I doubt it'll take long.
Answer to:
I don't believe that people will go to heaven or hell.well, how they found out?Do they dead and risen again?Do they went to heaven?or hell?
You may believe whatever you wish, of course. But if you pay attention to those who have died for a few minutes and returned, their accounts are quite similar in their way. It appears that, yes, the human body has a 'soul ejection system' that can be triggered in centrifuges, but there are ALSO a couple of paths documented to be taken after that. Some people 'almost' get to Heaven, others spend...
Answer to:
Supposing Heaven is meant to be a happy place, what would happen to me if I died and went there, yet someone I loved didn't get saved and instead went to Hell? Would God make me forget this person and the suffering they'd be doomed to forever?
I suspect we'll have bigger things to do in Heaven. Consider this: When you were a small child, did you have a favorite toy or stuffed animal that you absolutely LOVED? That you could never imagine being without at the time? Where is it now? Do you still miss it? Those who don't get into Heaven may be remembered to some extent, but their choice will be respected, and you will understand that it...

I want Obama to live. But I surely don't want his benighted policies to succeed. The man is a narcissistic authoritarian, and cares nothing about what his ivory tower policies would do in the real world. I'm guessing no one is in Hell or the Lake of Fire at this time. But as to being in Heaven, Paul had this to say:

I suppose technically he could, but considering that he only gave Christianity lip service throughout his life, he was deeply involved with the Occult, and his world view was political, not spiritual, the odds of him actually having repented has to be very near zero.
