Answer to:
Do you believe in 1 religion or do you find numerous points of many religions make sense to you?
Many points in many religions make sense, but I believe that Jesus Christ, God from God and that salvation is through Him alone. I believe in an absolute Truth, not that 'Jesus is only one way to God'.

I would call the cops and try to hold my husband away from the guy. That law was written for ancient Israelites. So glad I am not one.

Philippians 2. He did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but set aside His priveledges..... John 1:1 "and the Word was God".

What's the most attractive things about Christianity and what is the least? Thanks...
Eternal life, reconciliation with the Father, through Christ Jesus. Least? True Christianity isn't for sissies. It is hard and overwhelming and goes against the worldly grain. But I am addicted. Christ told us to love our enemies, that is just one example. It is so antiworldly (and this world is screwed up... no one can deny it), I love it! Praise the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob!

If i form a metal band will i go to hell? I wanted to have scary masks like slipknot. Even be crazy for commercial purposes.
Your salvation doesn't depend on whether or not you form a metal band. Now, if your band writes songs denying Christ as Savior and goes that route, then that is different, but forming a band, no matter what genre other than stated above will not send you to hell.
I am born again and listen to metal, especially for running, but it doesn't control my life, the Holy Spirit does.

Answer to:
I've committed minor sins (e.g. stealing, lying). Am I going to be damned to hell for this, or will confession save me from this?
Confession to a priest cannot save you; a relationship with Jesus Christ and a repentant heart is what you need. If you love Christ and are committed to Him, you will naturally be repentant of your sins and confess to God directly, assured of pardon by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
Answer to:
Will you go to Hell for stealing a Bible?
Not if you are repentant, but I am assuming this question was sort of a play on words or some kind of joke.

You should apologize for what you said and forgive her for what she said. But remember what He said, don't cast your pearls before swine (not that she is swine) she obviously knows how you feel, so perhaps she feels pressured by you and you need to step back a bit.

Answer to:
Publicly, do you beat your kids privately?
I don't beat my children (I want to.......) but they are spanked when they needed. I have whacked my five year old son on the bum when he has a suck attack at Toysrus. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, I dare any one to challenge me and threaten children's aid: my response will be, "Give me twenty minutes to pack his luggage".

Answer to:
Are all sins equal to god?
I know that Christ died once for all, to free us from sin, in general. I can't think though that God sees the sin of raping a child the same as the sin of gossiping in the same light; yet the pedophile who is repentant and turns to God through Christ is saved and the gossiping non-believer is not saved, based on my understanding of Scripture.

Its more like wanting to serve Him once you know and love Him. Paul calls himself a slave of Christ; so yeah, in a sense, but not in a 'human' slavery/bondage kind of way.

I am not a religious person (meaning I am not stuck on a set of rules, except the ones written on my heart), I am a relationship person (relationship between God and I) but I do believe in the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob and the only way to Him (to be reconciled to Him) is through His Son Jesus.

Answer to:
Romans 8;26. '...The spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. '
If the Father is the Holy Spirit, then how can the Father intercede with himself?
Because the Father isn't The Spirit, just as the Son is not the Father. They are three in one; One God; a tri-unity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three are of the same Nature; substance of being.

I don't know that there is true. I a Christian, not a religious person. Poor buggers.

Psalm19:7("The law of the Lord is perfect") Are all these laws still relevant today: Isaiah 13, Hosea 13, Numbers 31, Lev 25:44, Exod 31:15, Deut 17:2-7, 1Corint 14, Deut 21, 1Peter1:24-25, Isaiah 40:8, Lev 24:16, Lev 20:9-10?
Those laws would be relevant today if Christ had not fulfilled or completed the Law. I am so glad, cause some of them are pretty harsh, which further reveals our separation from a Holy God. None of us can keep His divine and perfect Law.

Prophets wrote the Bible. Why is it that if someone claims to be a prophet or speak to God in this day in time, why do we treat them as if they are crazy?

Hey im a 15 year old man and I'm told by a lot of people that im very attractive, but whenever I find a girl I think is attractive I cant ever get them, haha why is that?
Perhaps you are depending way too much on your goodlooks. Are you confident, approachable? Do you come across as cocky, or arrogant. Just some things to think about love. Be yourself (unless you're a jerk!), hold doors open for a girl, but don't be too sensitive, contrary to Cosmo, we don't want another girlfriend in a boyfriend. Also, watch Just Friends, with Ryan Reynolds:...

Yes, it is hate speech but we (Christians) should rejoice at it; Jesus told us it would happen, so no one should be surprised.

In Chirstianity there are so many denominations headed by the Spiritual head of the denomination. But all teach and preach Jesus Christ! Why cant the spiritual heads of the denominations join together and have a single denomination!
Because (never start a sentence with because!!) we are all stumbling, bumbling humans, who in our diversity, are seeking the One True God! He will bring the order you speak of in His own good time. Until then, keep seeking the Truth!

Will you go to Hell for stealing a Bible?
Not if you are repentant and ask for forgiveness; also, I do believe God has a sense of humor; but all salvation hangs on belief and dependence on Christ.

What good news do Satanists offer? his story is layed out in the Bible quite clearly and sorry to say, the future doesn't look to bright for him or his followers. Having said that, I wouldn't mind them coming to my door at all. I am always polite and friendly, so I would be to them as well....besides it would give me an opportunity to share my 'good news'!

Everybody seems to care about Gay rights and other religions rights...What about the rights of Christians? When are Christians going to band together and stand up for themselves and say we are offended?
We are to be like lambs to the slaughter. We are to rejoice when we are persecuted or insulted because of Christ's name; it really should be nothing new. I get offended sometimes, but I expect to be.
BTW, it'll get much worse people! The Bible says so.

Do not take offense as this is a sincere question. Do you think the bible is in need of a "Newer" testament from this day in age?
No offense taken. Not at all: I think more people should endeavor to learn what the original Scriptures implied to enable them to use Scripture today for everyday life. Now that I know the Bible a bit better, I have no problem applying it to my life. I still get frustrated and ask alot of questions, but I don't think there is anything wrong with that as long as I do so reverently.

I have Mormons coming over tonight and I have told them repeatedly that I am not ready to commit to any religion. I still love to drink beer and whiskey and there is no way I want that life style change. How do I tell them thanks but no thanks.
No religion should forbid you from consuming alcohol. I am a BAC and occasionally drink wine! Just be polite, but firm. I got into a similar situation with Jehovah's Witnesses. Very nice people, but religion not for me.

I don't think that the Trinity doctrine as we know it currently is a Christian foundation. The tri-une nature of God is revealed in Scripture and the Trinity is how humanity has come to understand or interpret it:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I agree, you have been presented with the Gospel and believe and if you are a true Christian, liberal or no, you have accepted Jesus as your savior and are obviously comfortable in your current beliefs and behaviors; that they are inline with God's Word. You gotta remember, some Christians, think they are responsible for you getting saved and will be held responsible if you aren't...

Are wolves friendly or just diabolical?
Wolves aren't diabolical. I hate it when humans label human attributes to animals. It feeds superstition and usually leads to the suffering of animals. Wolves, in their natural habitant want nothing to do with humans. I think in captivity, they can be friendly with their caregivers, but in general, if you love wolves, leave them alone. They want nothing to do with you.

Yes, I question it all the time and struggle with it and am frustrated by it. Wonderings and concerns about that are not central to your salvation, your belief in Christ is. Me and a friend couldn't figure out the answer to this.. If you have already prayed the sinners prayer, is it still necessary to confess your sins daily? If so, if you die with an unconfessed sin in your life, d you go to Hell?
No, if you belief on Jesus Christ as the atonement for your sins and recognize the sovereignity of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) you will not go to hell (whatever that is). You must daily go to him for nurishment through prayer. I tend to talk about my sins with Him (because we are stuck in the flesh), but sin no longer has any dominion over you love.

Negative, Jesus was the blood sacrifice, once and for all, that replaced the blood sacrifices of the OT. Jesus, being in very essense God, offered up Himself as a perfect sacrifice for all. It is really quite simple, but people keep stumbling over it.

My friend (a girl) called Jesus a fag as a joke. I blew up. I called her every mean name I could think of. Am I wrong? Should I apologize? I feel I should, but don't really want to.
Yes, I think you should apologize, in the interest of the friendship. Remember, Jesus is used to being mocked and called names! I understand you getting upset though, that would bug me big time. It hurts.
Answer to:
Do you believe that Jesus is the sun of God or do you believe he is God?
God, in that there is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Christ is subject to the Father (per Scripture) in rank and authority, but they are the same substance of Being: God.

Saints aren't perfect; no one was, we all fall short, which is why we need Jesus. Saints are cleansed by the blood of the Christ! Some Christians believe that all true followers of Christ are saints. But I don't think Catholicism teaches that.
