Beware of those starter kits for $100-$200, sometimes they give you Jr. version of the guitars so the frets are smaller than standard guitars. So once you upgrade you'll have to change things again. Get a normal guitar and a 20w+ amp.

A month or two if you keep on it. You'll also have to watch your diet. Doing sits won't do jack if you eat unhealth. Do your sits ups along with eating a health diet to loose fat and you'll see results soon enough.

They play until they get bored, then move onto another game. The next expansion will end up pulling them back in again.

Not much we can do when Saudia Arabia is one of the worlds exporters of oil. They have enought to do what ever they want.
