What's more important to you: the person you love, or your career?
Currently there is no person I love, at least not romantically, but I would say that the people I love, friends, family, and when romantic love occurs, are much more important to me than a career. A career might be fulfilling, but without people around who loved me, a good job alone would never be enough to make me completely content.

Do you really need friends to be happy in life?
I think so. Friends are what help you through the hard times in life. Relationships don't always last, but the friends stay. They're around for cheering up and talking to and crazy Mario Party sessions and whatever else. Friends are about as important, in my opinion, as family.

I'm sorry, the only thing that comes to my mind is "Stacy's mom has got it going on." Otherwise, I don't know anyone named Stacy, and since opinions of names tend to be based on previous interactions and opinions of that name, I can't help (I don't know any).

HAHAHAHAHA.
Oh.
No, no it is not.
I'm female, and I am wrong often.
Okay, maybe not often, but I'm not omnipotent and omniscient. That's one of those females scams, like saying that girls don't poop or women don't masturbate.

Answer to:
Would you rather go to work or school?
I'd rather go to work. School is sitting, not learning much (no offense, HCC), wasting time, and for the most part, my less close friends.
Work has my best friends, the ability to listen to my ipod, ice cream aplenty, and all around good times, admittedly while having to actually put forth effort.
Plus, getting money for work vs. spending it on school?
Obvious preference there.
Answer to:
Would you boycott a store that greeted you with "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" during the holidays? What if it was vice versa?
No, I would not.
Why you ask? Because it doesn't matter. The person isn't thinking, "hey, you're Christian!" or "Hey, you're not Christian, let's offend you!" It's a pleasantry related to the season, and it's nice.
...I dislike when people get annoyed by things like that.

If I am ever blessed with children I really want my first born sons middle name to be trouble on his birth certificate
My question is ladies how would you feel about that?
I don't think that having that middle name is going to cause problems or therapy. In fact, I think it's kind of cool, and I think some kids would actually really enjoy that as a name. I'd have been happy with a more interesting middle name (Marie? A little common). I'd say go for it.

There are more long distance phone calls on Mother's Day than any other day of the year. Why do people move hundreds and thousands of miles away from their Mother?
Because people have to live their own lives. Family is important, and you should always stay in contact with them, but you also need to accept that you need to make your own decisions and life choices dependent upon what's best for you- which may include moving hundreds and thousands of miles away.

Do you think there are people out there that just aren't capable of being in a healthy relationship? Will I always be terrified of commitment?
I think that's true. A person needs to be psychologically healthy and happy with themselves to be in a good relationship- otherwise they will doubt themselves or their partner. I'm in a relationship, and while the concept of commitment doesn't scare me, I get doubts whenever I'm with anyone. I wonder if they really care, or how much, or if I'm wasting my time with them....

Do you think that relationship has to be a kind of barrier for own peronality development at some point? I know it should not be, but there is always something that makes us "the other person's partner"?
Usually the guys I date don't act as a barrier for development, but aid it. Each guy has taught me something, both about myself and about aspects of the world. There's nothing wrong with wanting that. It's a human desire. How handicapped are we talking? If the person is mentally aware and able to make informed decisions, then no. If the person is handicapped and impaired to the point where she can't really take care of herself or be aware of the situation, then yes, it's wrong.
And to echo the person above, if they have a guardian, ask them first.

Could you have been anyone other than you?
Yes. I think if any of the circumstances or the specific moments of my life had been different, I would not be me. I would perhaps be similar, but since every experience has formed who I am, changing them would result in a slightly or perhaps dramatically altered me.
Or, there's a theory in which decision making is described as a tree- you start out life at the trunk, and every decision...
Answer to:
Would you be willing to change who you are if the love of your life asked you to?
Not unless the specific change was something I wanted to change about myself already.
I tend to believe that when you start a relationship, you're going to gradually learn things about someone, and if anything you learn is so unacceptable it has to be changed, then maybe you shouldn't be with that person.

In a situation that demands it: "fight or flight", which is more YOU?
FIGHT.
..I'm kind of a small person and I like to think I'm generally nice, but the fact is that I have quite a temper, and I don't really run away from issues ever.
So I'd either fight, attack with vicious rhetoric, or I'd rationally explain to them why we should just calm down, get some coffee, and play checkers.

Answer to:
Would you rather win the lottery or get 1 wish from a genie?
I'd rather win the lottery, because otherwise I'd get the one wish and then after I made it would probably feel guilty for using it for something selfish (ie, choosing to have superpowers instead of asking for world peace).
...no, screw that. I'd want the superpowers more than the money.
