I had surgery done to my toe back in March for an ingrown toenail; the doctor cut part of the nail off and put that chemical on it so it wouldn't grow back but now it is growing back and digging into the skin again. What will he do now? Nothing. It will take a while but your nail will grow back good as new, just a little smaller. I had the same thing done. Now the two big toes have different size nails.

How many other (straight) guys have had a professional pedicure and wear nail polish on their toenails? How did you like it? How did your wife, girlfriend like it? I have had a few pedicures. I love it. Taking care of my feet is a must. I get colors painted on at the salon and I also paint them myself.. The girls love to do it and they say it looks good. My wife likes it too. I think I have great looking feet and the painted toes really add a lot.I see more men doing this and having a professional pedicure done a few times a year.

What's the best way to apply nail polish so it will last? I clean my nails and cut and file them. File the rough spots smooth. Apply a good base coat and let it dry completely. Put on two coats of color and let dry again. Lastly another two coats of topcoat clear of course. I have never had peeling or chipping. A good base and top coat is worth the money.
