Why is Islam such a violent religion?
In my view the biggest warning signs for looking at any religion are:
# Does the religion state they are the only true religion?

Guys, do you think women should put forth the effort to wear makeup and "look nice" everyday (or at least most days), or can we just hop out of bed and throw something on? Would you date someone who never dressed up?
I think that each individual woman should do whatever she wants - but personally I would prefer it if she did not feel like she had to cover up with a mask of paint every day (or most days) of her life.
I would not date someone without making a big effort, but a date is not every day.

Why do some people seem to have a need to announce that they are unsubscribing from a comment thread? Why not just do it? Why tell others?
I have seen this a lot. :-)
Sometimes I think its acceptable - to let people know that there is no point addressing any more comments to them.
Other times I think its a psychological need to show that they are in control - a way of having the last word. When this happens the words "unsubscribe" normally accompany by a nasty comment.

Christians and/or Catholics: Do you think that Evolutionists/Atheists are "sinned" or "evil"? Why or why not?
Error 1:
Catholics are Christians.
Error 2:
Evolutionists and Atheists are not interchangeable. Many religious people accept the demonstrated scientific theory of evolution. Atheists are people who will not believe in God until God's existence can be demonstrated in an objective scientific measurable way.

So Bush was wrong about WMDs. Thousands are dead, $200 billion is spent, 15,000+ wounded and maimed, with no end in sight. Pretty expensive mistake. Don't we pay the president to get it right? Isn't this mistake alone enough to condemn him?
WMD's are in Syria, but it was certainly a big mistake to go into Iraq.
America *SHOULD* have listened to the Israelis who told them not to go to Iraq but to focus on the much more dangerous terrorist sponsors: Syria and Iran.

Let's put them together: "Control, but do not own, the means of production."
Good idea?
I am not sure how you can control something without owning it. Perhaps the quote "Own nothing, control everything" means that you should invest your finances in different areas.
If so, that would mean investing in the manufacturing industry; not a good idea if you are talking about the UK's manufacturing industry!

We see how young girls today are pressured by society to act and look the part of 'sexualized adult women '. Do you think boys face the same problem: to act and look like 'real men'? Why can't kids 'just be kids' and enjoy the innocence of childhood?
Absolutely.
Yes, 110% yes - this affects both genders.

I have no idea why children feel pressured to grow up so fast.

Can you a razar v3a recieve ringtones and pictures bluetoothed from other phones.
You can bluetooth across audio file or image files (assuming that the other phone has this capability) - however the audio files have to be the right format (I believe, MP3) for you to use them as a ringtone.
If you have trouble getting it to work you will be able to add the ring-tones to your mobile via your computer.

Totally theoretical question, if a woman is pregnant and wants an abortion but the father doesn't believe in it should the mother be forced to keep the pregnancy and give for adoption. I mean on one hand it is his child too and on the other it's her body
I think her body takes priority here.
The foetus is not his child, it is his *potential child* until such time that she gives birth.

If they are emotionally and physically mature I think that they should be allowed to have sex - however most children are not yet emotionally mature or aware of the risks at that age. [Note: I do not have statistics!]
Having an age of consent protects children from potential abuse from adults until they are old enough to make the decision for themselves.

None.
I was thinking, but imagine each of these...
# A person who has good manners, looks bad, has a poor sense of humour and is stupid.
# A good looking stupid person with no manners and no sense or humour.
# A funny person who has no manners, lacks intelligence and doesn't look good.
# A clever person with no manners, no looks and devoid of a sense of humour.

How much beauty must an ugly person have before you will date them?
Previous question:
http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/1537683
The problem with these two questions is that they just don't make sense.
A person is measured as a whole, not as "3 parts beauty, 2 parts ugly". Furthermore, everyone has different ideas of what constitutes as beautiful or ugly.
Answer to:
How much personality must an ugly person have before you will date them?
"Ugly"
Its such a crude phrase.
I wouldn't date someone I was not attracted to, and this predominately refers to a persons personality.

How far should we extend the 'Golden Rule?'
So many people state that "you should treat others as you treat yourself" as a "Golden Rule".
I think this rule is fundamentally flawed. You should not treat a 1 year old child like you expect to be treated yourself. We need to use this rule and apply a thick layer of common sense to it before it is valuable.

Is there any way I can be given the information from the"discussions" without having to actually talk to anyone until I am ready to? The thought of actually having to meet with anyone at the moment absolutely terrifies me.
I don't think you should convert to any religion unless you strongly believe in it.
Going to people in person and discussing religion *can* be difficult, especially when you are talking to people who are seeking to convert you. If you are worried about offending the person in front of you it can be difficult to find the question you want to ask, or ask the question you know you want to...
Answer to:
Do you sometimes think that people only talk to you because they feel sorry for you? Do you ever doubt yourself that much?

Answer to:
If God created Eden, and God created the tree of Knowledge, and God created Eve with curiosity, and God created the snake, and God allowed the snake to enter the Garden, then why is mankind to blame for original sin? Isn't God guilty of entrapment?
If someone can make *choices* then some of the time they will make the *wrong choices*. Free will and bad choices go hand in hand. Therefore if God created Eden and the tree of Knowledge, God already knew that mankind would eat from the tree (or do something wrong) at some point. The concept of original sin is a fallacy.

I Know that my Boyfriend whom I have been dating for alomost 7 months is lying to me.But, its not all him I found out he was lying to me by checking his phone messages without him knowing.... should I tell him?? What should I do?
Hmmm, going into his private things is a betrayal of his trust and therefore even though there is some justification in your actions it was still wrong.
You must know deep down that your relationship can no longer work. Trust is the most important part of a relationship, but you can't trust him, and he can't trust you either.
Consider ending the relationship in a dignified manner.

"For a woman to dream that she is pregnant could be her subconscious telling her that she is actually pregnant. If you're not worried about pregnancy, a dream of being pregnant symbolizes an aspect of your personality or personal life that is growing and developing, but is not yet ready to be talked about or acted upon. It represents the birth of a new idea, direction or goal."

When you play with the other children, make sure she is involved too.
She needs to learn to accept other people - if she is still jealous then you should not acknowledge jealousy because acknowledging it provides reinforcement. Just ignore it and keep trying to involve *everyone*.

"Rising up" and killing the people in the arms trade is not going to solve anything. War is a symptom of far deeper problems which need to be addressed.

My bf has asked me to have a 3some with him, i have never had a 3some and it sounds ok but then i am 100% straight, and another girl might just be wierd what should i tell him?
It sounds like he is very lucky to have a partner like you who is so willing to please him.
I am more concerned about you. I think you should hold off until you decide you are 100% comfortable with the idea.
If you decide that its not something you want to do, thats okay, just say no. :-)

Answer to:
What day of the week was Jesus crucified?
Source: http://www.gotquestions.org/about.html
The Bible does not specifically state which day of the week Jesus was crucified. The two most widely held views are Friday and Wednesday. Some, however, using a synthesis of both the Friday and Wednesday arguments, accept Thursday as the day.

Can you get a negative point sum on AB? Are there negative levels? Or are you banned? Is their a "worst of" competition?
(Just asking, I don't want to try it myself !)
When other users give you -ve points they are not deducted from your points total. Only AB staff can reduce someones total points and I have only seen them reset people back to 0 before.
AB can (and has) banned user accounts in the past, however the number of points on those accounts are not a reason to have the account removed. Users that are banned can not answer this question.

Answer to:
Is there really good and evil? Or is it just how the being is?
That is up to you to decide.
If you believe in a world where morality is just relative I could shoot my neighbour and there would be nothing evil about it.
If you give your money to a charity and someone gets to eat for a day without even knowing that it was you who paid for their meal, that is no doubt good.

How can the Watchtower dictate what is right and wrong for its members, and yet hypocritically make profit by owning close to 50% of Rand Cam weapons technology? Isn't this the same group that called the UN the devil and yet were members?
Please can you elaborate why it is wrong for the Watchtower to interpret their religious scriptures and own weapons technology. Does the Watchtower state that owning weapons technology is forbidden?
How is the UN relevant to the first part of your question?
