I love it, but it has been a p It sounds like the piercing is having an issue with the jewelry you are currently using; probably an allergic reaction. Also, the length of time between jewelry changes is not long enough. I would go back to the piercing studio and ask your piercer's opinion.

The tragus is a thick piece of cartilage, and the studs used can shatter the cartilage. Also they are too short to use in case the tragus should swell. There is no place for the swelling to go, and the stud could become embedded.

My left ear is the same, sans conch. All ear piercings are 16 or 14 gauge,except for the stretched one in the lobe. Also, inverse and standard navel; both 12 gauge. I have both nostrils at 16 gauge, and a 14 gauge septum. My tongue is 10 gauge. WHEW!!!

Its been about a week or two since my belly piercing its not really red and does not hurt at all. Just at the top its a little red and itches and just a little bit of pus came out.. does that mean its healing or should i be worried its infected..? It sounds like it's doing OK. This is normal. Keep up with your sea salt soaks, and give H2Ocean a try. You should be able to get it at your piercing studio. This product is great when you don't have time for soaking.

Had my belly pierced2wks ago.Have been moving it round lot the past2days& been sleeping on it. It has started to swell, is bit red on top round the hole, a bit itchy and there is a white fluid. Is it infected or irritated and can i use tea tree oil on it? Your piercing sounds like it is irritated. I would not use tea tree at this point. Sea salt soaks work best on piercings this new. Also, you should not be moving it around at all unless you are cleaning it, and then only with clean hands. Some swelling and discharge are normal at this stage. I would not sleep on it, however. If you want to use sea salt, make sure it is the non-iodized...

Hi i got my naval piered the ring fell out and it closed over night, how long do i have to wait before i get re done? I would wait at least one month before even considering having it re-pierced. You need to keep the area extremely clean, and watch for possible infection. You should then return to the piercing studio and let the piercer determine if the old piercing has healed sufficiently. Get a second opinion ( or even a third) before re-piercing. Good luck.

Is it dangerous for a 12 year old girl to get her belly button pierced? Yes, it can be. A person your age is not finished growing, and aftercare for a navel piercing will continue for a year or more. Also, you need to leave the plain ring or barbell in place during the entire healing period. Some people of your age group will not stick with the aftercare until healing is complete.
