I just thought of something that could explain how someone would enjoy their period. Vaporeongirl, you said you work out a lot and that stops it from hurting, right? Do you not have a period at all, or is it just very light? If you're not having one, that's called amenorrhoea, and it happens when women don't have enough body fat to make hormones (usually this is from anorexia or...

Why do some people have curly hair?
Genetics.
You get a gene from every parent, so you have a pair of genes for each trait(although some have more, which makes the expression of the trait more complicated). The two genes from parents are called alleles (one allele from each parent). Typically one allele is dominant, and if you have that allele you will have that trait, even if you also have the other, recessive, allele....

What are your opinions about that?
I wouldn't say he's shallow or stupid, his values are just different than most of modern society's. Sex used to be something special between only a husband and wife, and people would save themselves for their future spouce. Now many people have casual sex before marriage for fun.

Answer to:
Could you interpret my dream? I'll type it in as an answer, I can't figure it out!
Many psychologists today believe the activation-synthesis theory. According to it, electrical activity of the hindbrain during the night can activate random memories. This provides your brain with a number of often totally unrelated images, which it does its best to make sense of, resulting in dreams.
So anyway, if this theory is correct, your dream(and all others) means absolutely nothing.

Here's the real truth: Paul McCarthy is dead, Elvis is still alive though. They kidnapped him, brainwashed him, and gave him plastic surgery, so Elvis now looks like and thinks that he is Paul. Then they all got together and shot JFK, burned his body, and claimed that it was moondust to help convince people that we went to the moon.

Like writing a novel? I'd say yes. My english teacher told us some interesting stuff on this subject. The author is expressing different parts of him/herself, so it is art, and by reading we connect to the story and read "our inner book".

This woman uses human bones to make jewelry! This makes me really angry(see rant in answer), what do you think?
Wearing human bones as jewelry is creepy, but that’s definitely not the worst part. These bones are not from eccentric people who consented to be made into jewelry after they die. The woman gets the bones from museums and medical schools that are getting rid of old donated skeletons and replacing them with plastic ones. People who donated their bodies to science are being worn as jewelry!...

Humans are unlikely to evolve any further. Evolution depends on survival of the fitest, but that doesn't exist anymore. In modern countries at least, medicine and technology allow people who normally wouldn't to survive.

Some people say that for those people in the world that never encountered Christianity, those people will automatically go to hell. So then what about babies whether the babies are born or not born in a Christian family?
Accordng to Catholic teaching, Baptism is required for salvation. But in addition to Baptism of water, there is also Baptism of Blood and Baptism of Desire. In the latter, people who wish to be baptised but die before it happens are said to receive all the benefits of Baptism, and non-christians who strive to be good people are said to desire Baptism implicitly. So the Church does NOT teach...

If man has evolved from apes, then into what form does science predict that he will evolve next?
I really don't think that man will evolve any more. Evolution is based on survival of the fitest. The individual with the best adaptations to its surroundings has a better chance of survival, and so has a better chance to mate and pass on its genes. But humans try to help eachother to survive, and, at least in developed countries, a person with a genetic disadvantage or any other sickness...

If it comes down to two people, then the human race is already done. You would probably not have enough survival knowledge to keep yourself and your new family alive for long. And if Bear Grylls was the one you picked and you did survive, after you had kids, that would be it, as your children probably would not mate with each other. And even if humanity somehow got past the second generation,...

I wouldn't say they're not normal, but that doesn't mean they're right. If there is no reason other than you thinking she's more pretty, than they could really just be friends, and it isn't right for you to make him choose between his friend and his girlfriend.

First, wrong category. This is for questions relating to the NBC series "Heroes"

Third, maybe Relativity(as in the physics theory) or Slow-mo or something like that.

But if you don't have a choice, then you weren't volunteering, so you'd have to do 13 MORE hours, and you had to do that too, so you'd have to do another 13 hours, and that was required to make up for the last ones, so you'd have to do 13 more....

Purgatory is for people who don't reject God's forgiveness, but still can not enter Heaven yet because they had sins that had not been forgiven before they died. In purgatory, their souls are purified, and everyone in purgatory will eventually enter...

Breaking it down by volumes:
Volume 1 was the best. Judging by it, Heroes is my favorite show. Volume 2 took the series downhill, but it was still alright. Volume 3 was TERRIBLE! I wanted to put my head through the tv while I was watching. There were so many plot-holes I lost track. Suppose the distance between the earth and the moon were twice its actual size, would it still be possible to have a total solar eclipse?
I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I do know that Solar eclipses happening at all is very rare, and the conditions have to be just right, so I think that would prevent eclipses. But I don't know how specific the conditions are.
It's kind of weird when you think about all the amazing rare things on earth, some of which people don't even know doesn't happen on all...

What is the best and easiest way to become a werewolf?
Don't get bitten, it doesn't really make you a werewolf! You can be born one by being a seventh son or epileptic, or be born on Christmas eve. If not you can wear wolf skin and you might turn into one.
This is all according to some old werewolf myths, not movies.
Answer to:
How do you kill a werewolf?
Poison it with Wolf's bane, silver doesn't actually work. Silver can prevent transformation when worn though.

Answer to:
If a wolfman fought a vampire, who would win?
Definately the wolfman/werewolf. He could just kill the vampire with a stake or sunlight or a cross or something. But the vampire might not be able to use silver against the werewolf, there are many different myths about werewolves, and the silver bullet thing was mostly made up by movies. In some beliefs the only way to kill the werewolf would be to make it eat Aconitum (wolf's bane).

I don't get atoms. If everythings made of atoms and atoms are the same, how are there a plethora of different substances in this world?
All atoms are not the same. Atoms are of a certain element depending on how many protons they have. Ex: Hydrogen atoms have one proton. Carbon atoms have six. Atoms of the same element can also differ in number of neutrons and electrons. And finally, how atoms are arranged determines what they make up. For example, depending how you arrange those carbon atoms, you can get graphite or diamond.

Who would win a fight superman or goku (dragonball)?
Chuck Norris.
Seriously though, Superman would win. Goku has been killed many times, so Superman would be able to kill him. But Goku wouldn't be able to kill Superman. It's almost impossible, and even if Goku did it somehow, Superman can come back to life if he's killed.

One of the big things about hybrids is that they're supposed to get great gas mileage and save money. But I've heard on the news that some studies show that because of how expensive they are, it takes five years for the gas money to save you anything.

Can you lose weight playing with an Nintendo Wii?
I just heard a while back that standing up for thirty minutes a day does more for you than if you were to run a couple times a week. So if you're playing one of the games where you stand up and really get involved in the game, like wii sports, I definatly think it might be helpful.

Can some1 help me on kotor i'm against bendak starkiller and only have a frag grenade and 2 swords
in other words how do i kill him???????????
Equip a blaster, then run up close to Starkiller. Wait for him to pull out a sword. Then start to run away, but stay close enough that he will keep his sword equipped, but far enough that he can't hit you with it. Run circles around the stadium in this manner, stopping to shoot at him when you get the chance. It can be a little hard to time everything right and it might take a little...

I love popcorn. It's awesome with lots of butter and salt. I usually get the stuff you put in the microwave, but sometimes I like the smart food popcorn with chedder or whatever it is that's on there.

Is it better to say "merry christmas" or "happy holiday's" to a stranger?
Go ahead and wish them a merry Christmas. There is nothing offensive about wishing someone a happy anything. In fact there is a question asking people if they would be offended and almost every single person said no. If someone is offended by your wishing them a happy day then they deserve to have a horrible one.

I've heard of dark jedi, but are there light sith and what is a force witch?
Well, dark jedi are called sith sometimes because the sith were a race of people. At some point way before the movies all the dark jedi were banished to the sith's homeworld, and over millenia the two merged. Eventually, the sith race became extinct, so the term became another word for dark jedi. But if the sith (race) were still around, then there could be one who was a light side jedi....

Which is better, Season 1 or Season 2 of Heroes?
Definitely season 1. It didn't really on the flashy superpower thing as much--it had a great storyline to it. Season two kinda moves away from that and goes more towards the cool flashy superpowers adrenaline thing. But if that's the kind of thing you perfer, I guess you might enjoy season 2 better.
