I have good self esteem now but that was not always the case. I made a conscious effort some time ago to be a happier person, of course after awhile it's no longer an effort, and feeling happy adds to my self-esteem. Hope that makes sense.

In all honest they are not necessary on a daily basis. Back in the day, apparently the practice was to take a bath on Saturday night - yes, once a week. However, daily showes are the social norm nowadays. Also, nowadays we are more active and thus more likely to require a shower.

I find it difficult. I have to find a way to break away from that negativity, and to be around more positive people. For example, if I worked with negative people, I would make even more of a point to have lunch with friends who are that much more positive.

I use Google, because it is the most commonly used. I've tried other search engines but they seem to point back to Google anyway, except maybe Yahoo which does not produce as good results for my research needs.

No, I would not. I would want to meet in person and pursue the relationship that way, and relatively early in the relationship as well. Having a relationship that is solely online can entail having a relationship with someone you don't really know.
