It really would be best to just break it off. In my experience, even those people who just use drugs would view asking them to stop as you not accepting a part of their personality. However, many smart people may coast through school for awhile, but eventually do have to apply themselves - for instance, once they get to college. At work I try to be the most polite, helpful listener and non-judgemental person I can be. I try not to offend anyone and try to laugh even when someone's joke isn't funny. Does being too nice lead to being boring and never finding real friends? It is good that you are polite and that you are trying to be so nice. Just make sure that it is sincere. This guy and I have been hanging out together, constantly, for about three months now. Things are complicated...I didn't think much of it until we hooked up two weeks ago. He says he doesn't want a relationship. Is he just using me for fun? If a guy says that he does not want a relationship, I would say that you should believe him. He is not necessarily using you, though, as when you hooked up it was consentual, correct? If you think that this "friendship" (for lack of a better word) is too complicated then perhaps you should spend less time hanging out with him.

Why is the "defense of marriage" argument focused on gay people wanting to get married? Far more married people get divorced than gay people want to get married. Do women tend to eat more during their periods? Many do tend to eat more, and many women get certain cravings. One particular craving is chocolate, since it has magnesium in it. But I can't say all woman do eat more, as I'm not sure that is true. I can say that many do tend to eat more.

The only thing I mind about laugh tracks is if I'm watching a show with laugh tracks, and someone else watching starting complaining about them. Does it make you a bad person if you go on the Internet pretending to be someone else? No, it wouldn't make you a bad person, provided it is for a good reason. If it's only to be deceitful or harass/stalk/troll forums or others, then that is wrong. I also knew someone who had a mental disorder that made her think that she was actually a 15-year-old boy, so she could not help but pretend to be one, since she thought that herself.
