Funny you should ask. I have one and after John Paul II died, I thought no one would be interested anymore in it.
I'm not catholic but I bought it as a gift but never gave it away. It has the card indicating that it was blessed by John Paul II also.

Are rain gutters actually necessary on a house? I was thinking of having mine removed because they are just a trap for tree debris and I have to risk life and limb cleaning them out once a year.
The reason you have rain gutters is to channel the water away from your house. If the water is left to just run off of the roof, it will undermine your foundation and if you have a basement, the walls could collapse.
Forget the garden, looking out the windows, damage the garden, flowerbed or shrubbery. There is a real reason why they are there. We all have to clean them out.

"The Weight" takes the folk music motif of a traveler, who in the first line arrives in Nazareth in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania. Once there, he encounters various residents of the town, the song being a story of these encounters. Nazareth is the hometown of the guitar manufacturer C. F. Martin & Company. Is David Letterman an angry man?
His program was my favorite for years. When he had his child, his personality changed and not for the better. I haven't watch him in nearly a year.
Like her or not, he went after Ms. Palin with a vengence and he was condecending and cruel in his remarks. Seems to me he has issues with women as well as other issues. It's not a good look on him.

She doesn't have to. She's learned how to scam and work the system.
Nice work if you can get it, as the song goes.
What a way to live. Everytime I hear someone say something like that, I turn and say "you're welcome".

Why did you think it was a good idea for your baby cat to have babies? That's the problem. Now she's been sick for 5 months and you still havent taken her to a vet. I really sorry but you have no business having a kitten. That is abusive behavior on your part. Having a pet is a lot like having a child. There are some really good skin care lines, Dr. Denese and Dr. Perricone are two very good product lines. I've used both and have had great luck. When considering a produce, serums always work better than creams. The most you need is an eye serum, an over all face serum. If...

Why are most questions answered with opinions and not the cold hard truth?
Mostly, opinions aren't wanted here. Neither are facts. The only thing a questioner wants is agreement.
I've tried giving opinion and was DR'd 24 times in one hour.
I've tried giving facts (cut & paste) and was DR's 19 points for the facts.
Go figure?! I'ts my belief that only agreement works.

I need help/suggestions for skin care/ mostly my face - i am 43, concerned about moisturizing/wrinkles, but have more blemishes than when i was teenager/early 20's
1st- use a really good cleanser. Not soap.
2nd- don't rub your face dry - blot or pat.
3rd- use a good moisturizer. I use Dr.Denese HydroShield. A good OTC is Eucerin.
4th- get enough sleep
That's all you really need. If you need something for existing wrinkles, Dr.Denese makes a great serum. The blemishes could be hormonal or improper skin care.
NOTE: Serum always works better...

Have you ever seen a Wild Turkey? I kind of miss seeing them around.il
Yes. A small group of three stopped off in my backyard for a snack, water and a little 'walk-around' before moving on. I think it was one male and 2 females, but I didn't ask. Didn't want to pry into their living arrangements. Was a nice long visit though. I think they enjoyed it.

The one who lets the house fry at 100 degrees all day is harder on the system. It takes less energy to maintain the temp at 72 than it does to pump all that hot air and humidity out at night.

When I had a garage built in 2002, the contractor subcontracted the wiring. The cable from the house was buried, but now I see it surfacing in places. Should I contact the original contractor, the electrician that did it, or just poke it back in myself?
You can contact the contracter or sub-contracter but you'll pay a professionals fee.
This is something that you can do yourself with a little effort. If you live in the south or where there is not ground frost, six inches should be enough to bury the cable.
If you are in the north where you have ground frost or temps below 0, you don't have to bury the cable more than 12-18 inches....

I was out last night & could not get over how most of the women were dressed so nice and almost all the guys had the tails of their shirts out and just were not dressed well at all! What is that all about? Do women care?
If women expected their dates of partners to 'tidy up' a little more and told them so, maybe they would put in the effort.
It's the 'I don't give a ---' attitude that I don't like at all. It tell one a lot about that person. Plus, I think it's a sign of disrespect for women.

The saying "The best thing between neighbors are fences"....do you think this is a good saying and that it's mostly true or not?
This is a very wise statement. We erected a fence to enclose our backyard because we've always had companion dogs. The neighbors on either side tied into our fence without asking and now have decided that they can tell us how to maintain the fence and what it should look like.
Guess we're the only ones who believe that building of a fence makes for privacy and good neighbors.

I'm 17 and dating an abusive boyfriend. I"m planning on leaving him and need to tell my mom about the abuse. I lied to her last week when she found bruises on my arms. I told her they were from playing volleyball. I'm scared to tell her? What to do?
Just say 'Mom, I need to talk with you'. If you are still afraid, leave her a note saying that you would like to talk with her when she has some quiet time alone.

Wasn't Michael Jackson lucky to find someone who fell in love with him and loved him for him.(watch the video posted)Too bad they didn't stay together.
I do remember this clearly and nearly everyone mocked and thought this marriage was a 'set-up' or a 'deal' between two major music families.
I may have been the only person who believed Lisa Marie. Her personality doesn't lend it self to being told what to do or how to behave.

What do you think about the new rule book of Taliban? (It says suicide attacks should be at high value and important targets because a brave son of Islam should not be used for low value and useless targets)
I've always wondered why, if suicide attacks are such a nobel thing, why aren't bin laden and others doing it. Wouldn't one think he should be a good example for his people? Gee, I don't think I'd make a very good bomber 'cause I'd like to learn by example from my leader.

I believe it's a huge mistake for the officer to go to the dog 'n pony show. It will be used for propaganda purposes come election time again.
BO, when asked about it, can say, see the officer didn't think it was such a big deal, he was smiling and having a great time.
