IMO using the online version is preferable. You have off site storage of your return on the companies server. Plus you have a platform independent method of doing your taxes. If you need to access your return info next year, you don't have to worry about if you have the disc to reinstall...

I plan on semi-retirement at 45, then perhaps part time work to stay busy. After that, who knows? From a financial perspective I want to be able to retire when I'm 45. That way I will only work because I enjoy it, not to be a slave to the paycheck.
