Why is it considered disgusting for a man to dress in womens clothing, but normal for a woman to dress in mens clothing?? They are both forms of cross dressing, why is one worse than the other?
I think the main difference today is that women wear 'men's' clothing for practicality, not because they want to wear men's clothes, per se. If men want to wear short skirts, high heels and other uncomfortable clothing items, go for it, but they might soon find the same drawbacks that women have found, especially in very cold climates.

Would you like a St. Bernard as a pet?
I had one back in the 1970s. Her name was Judy an she was a short-hair, dry-mouth beauty. We lived out in the country with no neighbours in sight so my in-laws, who bred St Bernards, gave her to us for protection. When someone rang the door bell, she only had to bark, or even jump up to see out the window in the door, for folks to know that, if you meant any harm, you better clear off! She...

The only thing I can suggest, other than SEE A DOCTOR, is to use those soft gel ice packs - get some that are 10" X 15" which you can probably find at a medical store. It won't cure anything but will give temporary relief. I would suggest that you get about 3 of them - this way, while the first one is refreezing, you have another already to use.

Most folks who are cremated have caskets (usually rented), and visitation/wakes. There are funerals, too. Burials, and interments, as well. It's just that the plot is sometimes smaller or there is a niche in an outdoor stone wall for the urn.
BTW, are you saying that you want to be a mortician for the experience of going to funerals?

If you want to move to Florida, go to the family court yourself and ask them to vary your custody order. If you can provide better for your children by living there, they at least have to consider your application.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'ex-60s.' But if you mean people who were hippies in the 1960s, we still exist.
Hippies were never a homogeneous group - that can never happen with so large a number of people. It was more of a movement, a concept, an ideal. Some espoused drugs, some didn't. Not all liked the same kind of music. They didn't all dress alike - they didn't all go to Woodstock.

It's not about your rights or the father's rights. It's about the child's rights. The child has a right to a relationship with both parents AND to the nourishment that only a mother can provide. You can always pump your breast milk and send it with the baby.

'Officials take oath to uphold constitutuion and all laws'
I guess this means that any politician who voted to amend the Constitution at any of its numerous amendments is breaking their oath of office, since they are not upholding it as it exists.

How do illegal immigrants get their kids into school without the proper records? Doesn't the school say something? (in canada)
They might well have a birth certificate, especially if they were born after their parents arrived in Canada. If you have any questions, why don't you call the school board concerned? Education is a provincial responsibility in Canada; I checked the website of a major school board and no mention was made about a parent's immigration/residency status as a factor in being allowed to register.

Why do women consider this scenario fair to guys? In steps: Girl ignores nice guys Girl sleeps around with a bunch of other guys Girl gets older, isn't as pretty anymore Girl ends up marrying nice guy for financial/emotional security
I don't consider that the first part has anything to do with the second part.
Are you suggesting that pretty girls have some sort of obligation not to marry someone they weren't attracted to at the height for their physical beauty? Are you saying that nice guys are somehow 'owed' something later in life because the 'hot ' girls ignored them in high school?
If a 'nice guy' marries a woman who...

I couldn't care less.
The only thing that puzzles me is why anyone would make tea in a cup or mug. The flavour is much better if you make it in a pot first - it must have something to do with oxydisation and heat retention, what with the lid being on the pot .

What do you think about Hispanic people acting like their white?
'acting like their white..'; their white what? their white car? their white dog? their white neighbours?
How does one 'act white?' Caucasian folks act in all different ways depending on where they live, how much money they have, what their own family traditions are, how old they are, etc., etc.
Race is a concept, not a hard reality.

Welcome to the backside of the 'always the lowest price' shopping mentality. Nothing electronic that is available at Walmart (and others) is built to last or to be repaired. If it is off warranty, kiss your money goodbye. Take the money you 'saved' on this item and purchase a new one. But always remember: the failure rate on new electronics is 25%, within the first 3 months.

what do you think of the social stigma against male virginity?

Although, to be honest, I don't think it's a stigma against male virginity, but more of an approval of male promiscuity.

A legislator said Giffords should step down from her job since she is currently incapacitated. Cruel nonsense or spot on common sense?
Neither. Like any other worker, she is entitled to whatever sick leave is available to her, just as if she had a bad flu, was undergoing surgery for a burst appendix or had been in a vehicle collision.
She is not the first legislator to need time off work.

a dozen red roses with 1 white rose in the middle??? what does this mean?? It's not my bday or anything special???
Well, a dozen red rose is a traditional declaration of love. The white rose is usually used to symbolise purity and innocence. A single rose is used to express simplicity.
The interpretation is up to you, of course, but it could mean something like 'I simply adore you!'

Why are ex's so hateful??
Well, that might depend on whether they were the dumper or the dumpee.
The dumpee is obviously hurt and angry.
The dumper can be hateful in an attempt to mitigate their feelings of guilt - the best defence is a good offence, after all, and nothing reduces guilt better than re-writing history and making yourself into the one who was wronged and therefore entitled to make the other person's...

I am a Virgo, and the characteristic that I am most like is 'perfectionist.' However, I have to say that my husband, who is Sagittarius, whose characteristic is 'flexible and adaptable,' is not flexible and has difficulty being adaptable, is more of a perfectionist than I am.

Many, but the 2 main ones are :
1. small children cannot be counted on to use them properly/safely; and
2. in case of an accident/fire , it would take too long for the driver to undo all the seatbelts, especially if the driver is also injured.

What kind of worm or parasite will make my dog itch?
When I first got my dog (in my avatar), it was ringworm, which he had caught in the puppy mill he was living it.
Later he developped a different itch and the vet diagnosed an allergy to food, which was treated with steroids and a change of food - worked like a charm.
Answer to:
Why did my dog receive a shot of hydrocortisone for her itch?
Because you took her to the vet and the vet recommended it? If you didn't understand the vet's recommendation for treatment, you shouldn't have agreed to it.
Come on, AS, you know better than that!!!

The name comes from a presumed pagan personage but it commemorates the death and resurrection of Christ.
PLEASE NOTE that this anomoly occurs only in the English language, not in the entire Christian community. In French, it is Pacques, for example, which recalls the Passover, the Hebrew celebration, the time of year when the events actually happened.

A church wants to picket the funeral of the little girl who died in Arizona.
Although I share the disgust of people who think this is an outrageous thing to do, I disagree with your conclusion. It's like saying 'You know that father in Austria who kept his daughter captive in a basement and fathered children by her? And people wonder why some people have a problem with the institution of the family.'

I think Gentlemen may become extinct and I fear Ladies may follow suit. There are still some, but fewer than before. Do you know why?
I think we are less likely to hide our real feelings behind the facade and ritual behaviour that used to characterise 'good manners.'
We are also less likely to mingle only with our own 'class' of people - one class's manners are another's 'boorish behaviour' or 'ponce.'
If you mean that folks who really genuinely care about all others, they are still our there, they just don't do meaningless...
