Answer to:
When a power is generated in power ststions how it is stored or distributed
Transformers and Transmission lines distribute it. In Britain, at night when demand is low, we pump water into an elevated lake in the form of potential energy, this can then reverse through a hydroelectric plant during peak demand during the day. This enables the generators to run continously and more efficiently.

How to get out of your wireless cell phone contract without an early termination fee?
You could die but I think that would be a little extreme. But, in the UK, there have been cases where it was proved that reception of signal was so bad at their residence that the service was not fit for purpose as supplied. Usually this gets settled before court. So, it would be good to challenge them up to the point that you can afford it.

Is it because of choice? you can survive all sorts of break ups in the US without a real threat to your life. Expectations too, choices made available to exercise your right to flee a relationship and pursue another without trying too hard to make it...

Answer to:
Do you believe in aliens? what would they look like?
I believe in aliens but I don't think we have seen any. I think that life could take on so many forms that it would be difficult to catagorize. Hopefully, in space operas, most of them use auditory senses and speak English.

How far should you keep your cell phone from your head or body while sleeping?
I've worked in the field of High power Radar and radios for over 30 years, I've been exposed to very high power and felt the heat, luckily the dangerous part, the so called ionizing radiation has been low. I think that more people were exposed to ionising radiation through the use of old televisions and not protecting themselves when out in the sun. I would not worry about your cell...

Have you ever been in a haunted house?
Well, I think so, it was one of my childhood homes. I got sent to bed at the usual time, climbed the stairs and found a man standing in my way, asked him to move, he didn't seem to hear, went downstairs to tell mum, she froze, the previous owners had to move as their son was petrified about a man in the house. My mum didn't tell me this at the time but it put the wind up her. Amazing...

Have you ever been discriminated against for any reason?
We are all discriminated, through merit, achievements, education. etc. I think you are referring to immoral discrimination such as race and sex, if so, yes, I've been to countries that have discriminated me because of my race (White British). I treat this in context, in the UK and US, it should not happen, but in asian countries I've been to, I've understood why they discrimated...

I'm Iranian and I've written a blog to introduce the real Iran to you.I've talked just about everything and there are a lot of pictures and songs and a lot of info you've never ever heard of.What do you think of it? www.iranian3000.blogfa.c
I'm a Brit, I was in a boarding school as a kid and we had Iranian and Iraqi citizens attend, both solid, got on with each other even when IRAQ and IRAN were at war. Shame that half of them perished in this war when they left school. Yes, I know that our Media love to skew the facts to demonise your countries but I hope that there is enough free thinking in this country to filter this...

What is plasma
Often called the fourth state of matter, solid...liquid...gas...plasma.
If you heat up a substance to high temperatures, the outer layer electrons are so energetic that the atom can no longer hold them, you end up with an atom and electron soup. Often the electrons are stripped away and the positive ions left over can be used as mass to accelerate away using magnetic/electric force. This is...
Answer to:
When making a simple electric generator how will having an electrical load(or not) change the performance of the generator, will changing the strength of the magnet affect the performance of the generator, and what other variable may change the outcome.
Not simply answered but I will attempt to give a very top level. Imagine if you had a hand cranked generator with no load attatched, it would turn very easily. add a load, it would become harder to turn; this is because the electic current through the generator windings that is allowed due to the load being there would set up a counter magnetic force to the generator magnetic force that you...

Have you ever actually bought/read a "...for Dummies" book and found it useful?
Oh yes, I bought the one for Calculus, it had the edge that allowed me to truely grasp some of the concepts. A dry subject indeed but the question needed answering.
