buses will drop some of there schedules, as will planes, tax credits will be given for car pooling (it'd be nice anyway) and suddenly our own backyards will become favorite vacation spots!

I do. I live close to the ocean, so if it gets too hot we head to the beach. But it rarely gets sweltering hot here for long periods of time. If we have a week straight in the high 90s, it's unusual. There's just so much more you can do in warm weather that you can't do in cold.

You should try to have at least 48 oz of water a day. So if you want to drink four, make them 12 oz glasses. I drink about 64 oz. a day. It's pretty easy to do since it's the only think I drink except for coffee in the morning, and tea sometimes in the afternoon.

Yes, that's one symptom. When I have gotten them in the past, any light at all would send a piercing pain through my head, usually right around my eyes. Fluorescent lights were the worst.

Are you a kind AB user? If not, why, and how are you?

I try to always be kind and helpful. The only times I'm not is when someone asks a particularly insensitive question. In those cases, kindness does not seem to be called for.

What are three things you are grateful for today?

I'm grateful for regaining my health that I was endanger of losing. I'm grateful for my friends - ones that I've known for longer than I can remember and ones I just met yesterday. I'm grateful for my kids - that they grew up with big hearts and the ability to be greatful too.

I remember a world without AIDS. It wasn't all that long ago. And it wasn't that much different, it just didn't have AIDS. Someday it will be that way again, but I'm sure there will be something else to take AIDS place.

no. but as long as people watch television shows about celebrities or buy magazines about them, they will keep getting more and more attention. The media has made some of us believe that celebrity-watching is a useful way to spend time. I disagree with them.

I can identify more with my American self because that is what I've always known. But I'm proud of my roots in both Italy and Ireland and have a great deal of respect for my ancestors who had the courage to leave everything familiar and come to this country.

Almost anyone could walk if they helped convict a serial killer. Even accomplices to murder have gotten off completely or at least very lightly if they helped convict the main suspect.
