I actually don't like the points system. I'd be much happier if it weren't here because I think is has a negative effect on peoples effort and motives.
Having an individual rating on questions and answers makes sense, but when it's cumulative, on questions and answers, it loses it's meaning, because the more people that see the answer, the higher the score, when...

I personally find the points system distracting while also lowering the standard of questions asked and answers given, and is even the root of many disputes.

That logic is very flawed. You are essentially saying that if somebody does something, then it must be good otherwise they wouldn't have done it.

If time were infinite, would an afterlife of some sort be guaranteed?
I say this because there would be an infinite chance of you reforming and regaining conciousness after death. No matter how dispersed our physical self becomes, there would be an infinite possibility that your past conciousness could be recaptured in anything. Upon death, it would seem instant to you. You would seemingly instantly regain conciousness in another place and time.

There would only be a flaw if God, like us, was bounded by time. However, if God is outside of time, it is not that he knows what we are going to do in the future, he knows because we have already done it.

Answer to:
Out of 9 different numbers, how many combinations of 5 different sets are possible? Only using a number once in each set.
If the order that the numbers come in matters, then it would be 9x8x7x6x5 or 9 factorial divided by 4 factorial.
9!/4! = (9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1)/(4*3*2*1) = (9*8*7*6*5) = 15120
If the order does not matter (i.e. 123 is the same as 312), then you just divide by the number of permutations., which in this case is 5!.
9!/(5!4!) = 126
A general rule for this is n!/(r!(n-r)!), where n is the...
