Myrtle Beach, SC - in high school my softball team would travel there every spring break to participate in a tournament. I spent 4 memorable Easter Sundays basking in the sun. It was great! Did you turn household items into toys when you were a kid or did you prefer getting toys from the store? Everything in the house was fair game as far as my brother and I were concerned. We even used the house itself in our creative games. In one game, we could not touch the carpet because it was lava. We also used to fill backpacks with snacks and crawl all around the house pretending we were on missions. We had our store toys too, which we enjoyed very much!

Have you ever experienced a really bad tornado, hurricane or earthquake? Once...in Charlottesville, VA - pretty much the most unlikely place for an earthquake to occur. The house shook a bit, but it was nothing major. I can't imagine what a *real* earthquake feels like.

When a CL says this " I do suggest that you two steer clear of each other.", what exactly does that mean?( I think I know ~ I just want to be sure I'm right) I would take it as a final warning before someone gets placed in the penalty box. I doubt that it feels good for a community leader to intervene or reprimand anyone, but it is necessary, and we should all be thankful to the people who *volunteer* for this position. Since you did not share, I don't know what you think it means, but it seems pretty clear to me.

I just gave my dogs a bath and they acted like it was the end of the world. Have you ever made a big fuss over something that in retrospect you realized was trivial in the grand scheme of things? What was it and how did you feel when you realized it? I love going to concerts and I usually have to travel to D.C. to see my favorite bands. I get really anxious about the potential traffic and getting a good seat and parking...I make a huge fuss about it. I always end up having the time of my life though, and feel foolish about obsessing over stupid details.

How can one tell if they have charisma? Other than being egotistical, is it possible to know without someone telling you? I think that only time will tell you whether you are charismatic or an ego maniac. If you have true charisma, you will draw people in and they will stick with you. If you are all ego, good people will realize it and distance themselves from you.

Not that I am at all complaining, but the gas prices around my home have dropped almost 75 cents a gallon in the past couple of weeks. Considering the economy is in such a state of distress, why are gas prices dropping so drastically? I asked a few coworkers this exact question today after seeing the gas prices drop twenty cents in 4 hours. It is good to know that I am not alone in wondering. I first thought that it was a supply/demand issue, but I really have no idea!

Did you ever love the cruelest person in your world ... and if so ... how did that affect you? I did. It was an extremely manipulative situation that almost caused me to lose my best friend, and myself really. This person claimed to love me but only wanted to alienate and isolate me. The only good that came of it is that I know now how to recognize a situation like this in the future.

I sometimes have trouble relating to my peers whose lives are in such a different place than mine. They made my son the catcher for his baseball team. I am not really happy about it because I heard catchers have really bad knees. Is this true? Hey Tjoe, my brother was a catcher for about 10 years (8-18 years old). He doesn't have any serious problems, but he experiences stiffness and soreness in his knees occasionally. Though, I think that happens to anyone who plays sports intensely as a child. I say congrats to him for playing one of the most important positions on the team!! :)

Your only focus when learning to drive should be to follow the laws. Everyone's going to be awkward in the beginning! Why do some people treat pets like humans? I think that it ultimately comes down to the person's ego. The love of a dog or cat is unconditional; no challenges or surprises. Humans can control that love, whereas loving and being loved another human is much more vulnerable and risky. I would suggest listing it like any other job. List the company and your position and the dates you worked there. Then in your first bullet point, explain that it was an unpaid externship. Sure, 13 year olds can be exposed to inappropriate content, but adults can be exposed to offensive material as well. I have always used plain old white distilled vinegar. Douse the spot with vinegar, I mean saturate it. Leave the vinegar on for as 24 hours, then soak up the moisture with paper towels. What songs calm you down when you're upset and why? Gosh, that's hard. Just listening to music in general calms me, but I guess I would choose, "A Case of You" by Joni Mitchell. She just soothes the soul no matter what she sings, but this is one of my absolute favorite songs of all time.

As a child, did your mother ever make you ware something to school that you found embarrassing? She made me wear the same outfit on "picture day" two years in a row...a pink sweater and a denim skirt. I was mortified, but I doubt anyone else remembered!

Do you take after someone in your family? I don't think so, actually. They have influenced me no doubt, but I am very very different from them. I am more sensitive, affectionate, and honest than my parents or my brother. I am the youngest, and I think the lack of affection and sensitivity I experienced in my youth made me more prone to to it as an adult.

Well the answer fits quite well with your most recent adventures. :) I am pretty sure the oldest form of hair removal is "threading." It originated in anciet India and Persia, and it was a method used by men and women to control hair growth. For women, I think it symbolized reaching puberty or getting married, which often occurred around the same time.
