CNN article suggests atheists and agnostics know more about religion than Christians. Do you feel this is the case?
It depends on who you're talking about. I have found that many atheists, or even most have a great deal of mis-impressions about God and religion, based on their own individual experience.

More people can deal with women making out but most men at least find two men to be disgusting. Shows that rely on male audiences will lose viewers if they force men to see two men making out. Disgusting.

Should heterosexual soldiers be forced to bunk & bathe with known homosexuals if "Don't Ask Don't Tell" is repealed?
This is very simple. Just like no woman should be forced to live and shower with a bunch of men, no man should be forced to sleep and shower with a man who claims to have had sex or wants to have sex with another man.
That would be a violation of their privacy and rights, just like it would be to have co-ed facilities.

Abused Men - When Women Batter Men, What Do Men Do?
The best and only good option is to divorce or permanently end the relationship. However, men typically accept the abuse long term since people feel that they deserve it.
The worst option is to get the police involved. Men usually are the ones who get arrested when they're the victim. Never, ever call the police.

Why is domestic violence always against the man? What happens when the man is the victim?
When the man is a victim, there is nothing he can do other than divorce the wife or sever the relationship with a girlfriend immediately and permanently.
Even if he never touches her, if the police are called he will get arrested and have a record. The only thing he can do is divorce or leave her and make sure everyone he knows is aware that she's a violent nutcase.

If I felt I could be wrong, I wouldn't bother. I'd do nothing until I was convinced I'd found what wasn't wrong.

Underage women should not need parental consent for anything they want to do. Abortion, cosmetic surgery, tattoos, piercings, school trips, nothing. It's her life and the parents should have no say in what she does or does not do.

For some reason, no matter how horrific this video might be (I didn't watch it either), people are cool with abortion. Some will even argue that abortion is better than.
Answer to:
Do you think abortions are the murder of a life? or do you believe that a baby is not a baby until it breaths air? (even though mothers will tell you they feel there baby kicking and moving at night so they cant sleep so they know its not a dream!!!)
Biologically, fetuses are living human organisms. If it wasn't alive, there'd be no need to kill it.
All this business about breathing, the brain, etc. is opinion that gives license to kill without plague of conscience, nothing to do with objective science and medicine.

Would there be fewer affairs and less adultery if polygamy was legal?
Yes. Some people are born to be in polygamous relationships, but our society tries to force fit them into monogamous relationships. Affairs are often the result of this. If polygamy were legalized and socially accepted, it would reduce this problem.

I have a homosexual uncle who is a pastor, father and husband. He has a boyfriend who is also a pastor. His congregation doesn't know about it. Is it my business to let certain people know?
How about protecting the innocent wife? I have a friend who died from AIDS because the people who knew what her husband was doing didn't have the decency to insist he inform her so she could protect herself. Just because he's a homosexual doesn't mean he should be able to kill his wife with impunity.

I had an affair with a married man. We both divorced and are now in a relationship. He has three daughters, 12, 9, and 2. His 12 year old knows about the affair and hates me. I want her acceptance and for her to see I'm a good person, what do I do?
I'm thinking that's going to take some time. As in years. Just prove over time that you are a good wife to her dad and do your best to be good to her and her siblings. Ride out the tough spots as best you can, and don't give up.

Simple. Adopt out.

Health care legislation before Congress would allow a new govt-sponsored insurance plan to cover abortions. What are your thoughts?
It doesn't really matter. The government will always be pro-abortion because it fits its financial model. It's far, far cheaper to kill the kid than provide healthcare, food, and education for 22 years.

Feminists twist the facts. They try to make it appear that choice has nothing to do with outcome.

Like planes that land on separate runways but taxi to the same terminal, men and women approach dealing with problems somewhat differently.

No, you would have to want to just want to believe it since there is no firm evidence to support it. It has been 56 years since the Miller-Urey experiment was published and still no agreement as to how this could possibly have happened, let alone replicate it.

If you think abortion ends a human life, but you support the right of a woman to choose to abort, how do you reconcile that? Are you just not "sure enough" about it to warrant being strictly anti-abortion, or...?
They seem to believe that human life's value is relative to age and capability. The younger one is, the less they are capable of, the less their value as a human. If they are very young, and capable of little or nothing, they have little or no value. Thus, killing them because their existence might be inconvenient is not seen as wrong.

It enforces the idea that a human's value is relative to their age and physical capabilities. The younger they are, the less they can do, the less value they have as a human being. It happens in reverse to the elderly.

The bankruptcy will roll off your credit in 3 more years. Some people won't marry someone without pristine credit, which is getting harder and harder to find.
Tell him if he wants to be the head of the family, as it sounds, he should go ahead and buy the house before you get married on his own. That way, your bankruptcy won't affect his credit at all.

The best alternative is to fall in love with someone else - which can be hard to do it you're stuck on feelings for one person. It's tough.

What's wrong with having a sexless marriage? I personally wouldn't mind being in one as long as the woman can accept that. I finally realized that relationships aren't just about sex.
Nothing is wrong with it, as long as you both agree. There's nothing wrong with any kind of marriage as long as you both agree. Sexless, loveless, affectionless, communicationless. . . whatever works for the two of you, is fine. The problem comes in when you're not on the same page.

What are the most common reasons a husband cheats?
Feeling emotionally abandoned by his wife. This can come from harsh unrelenting criticism and lack of affection.
Then, maybe a the office, some other woman lets him know how wonderful she thinks he is. How impressed she is with this or that aspect of his personality.
She doesn't criticize him, she supports and encourages him. This can happen easily at work. All of a...

Problem: I would like to get engaged to be married. (I'd like to marry in 1-3 yrs.) He's hinted but hasn't proposed. I am tired of waiting (together over 5 years). I don't want to propose to HIM. I want him to WANT to propose and marry me? What do I do?
Let him know what you really want, how important that is to you.
My wife brought marriage up first, but I proposed. Somehow she manuvered me into it. But, I'm glad she did.
If he wants the same thing, he'll do his part to make you happy. Caution: you can't make him want what you want.

Guys:your (educated opinion please) on feminism?
VAWA defines the abusers as male and victims as female. Not just the title, but the entire text demonizes males as ALWAYS the abuser and never the victim. The wording and spirit of the law is misandristic as are its supporters. If you go to any feminist website, you will find 100% support for the gender specific wording of the law.
Every feminist I've ever discussed this with...

Is a single incident of domestic violence a good reason to divorce? (My wife hit me last night and I am moving out today)
Yes, get out now before it gets worse. Once a beater always a beater. Abusive women (and men) are like pedophiles, you can't reform them.

Why is "feminist" considered a bad word to most people these days? I am a male, and gladly consider myself a feminist
If feminists truly fought for equality it wouldn't be considered a bad word. They've done it to themselves.

How come men will never understand when we see them lookin at another woman or when they cant get hard in bed we always think that we arent good enough for them and it kills our self esteem? what can i do to get over that? please help
The problem is that women assume they know what's going through a man's head even if he glances at a woman.
.
If a man happens to glances at another man, they don't assume that it means anything but if he glances at a woman, they make assumptions - which may not be accurate. A person's self esteem shouldn't be that fragile.

They went too far years ago. They should just give it up now. What more do they want?

What are the most common reasons a husband cheats?
They drift apart due to life's anxieties; she gets angry because of feeling neglected, reacting by criticizing him constantly and being mean in general. He feels unappreciated and pushed away (when she wants more of him not less) and withdraws, leaving a void for both of them.
He meets someone that treats him like she used to. Badda bing, badda boom!
Answer to:
We have talked about marriage and are ready to get engaged. We don't have a lot of money at the moment, but I saw the perfect ring at perfect price. Can I buy it and leave it with him for when he proposes?
Go for it. If it makes you happy and he doesn't have to figure out how to buy something he can't afford, it makes perfect sense. Ignore the crowd.

Which should be legalized first, polygamy or same sex marriage? Maybe they should legalize them both at the same time?
I say legalize polygamy, as long as it involves only adults and applies the same to men and women.

Do guys like wearing a wedding band? Do (you/ they) really want them or do (you/ they) feel pressure to wear one?
I don't wear one. My wife doesn't wear my name and I don't wear her ring. We are free and independent.

Answer to:
Is 7 thousand to much for an engagment ring? how do I know how much i should spend?
You don't even need to buy a diamond ring, which is paid for by the blood and limbs of innocent Africans. A plain band or another stone is just as good or better.
Answer to:
Should men feel forced to wear a wedding band if he does not believe that tradition?
No, men should feel free to not have to yield to traditions they don't like just like women should feel free to not have to yield to traditions they don't like, such as changing their name.

Shouldn't the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) become the Violence Against People Act (VAPA)? (Since women attack their partners just as often as men.)
VAWA implies that only women are victims and only men are perpetrators, which is completely untrue.
Women attack as often or more often but men don't report or complain as much. Also, when men do report, the police usually either arrest the man or refuse to take any action.
If VAPA replace VAWA, it would stop more domestic violence injuries because it would stop fights...

Men, are you insulted when your future bride doesn't want to take your last name? To me this is/was VERY difficult (to give up my identity-ones name is so important) and I don't understand how someone could feel good making someone they love feel so bad
I wouldn't marry someone who didn't think enough of me to become a truly united family by taking my name. It's a nice tradition and ensures that everybody in the family has the same name.

Answer to:
What do you think if a man won't wear a wedding band?
It's an optional tradition, just like a woman taking her husband's name, or not.
The people who know me, know that I'm married - but why should I announce it to strangers?
Wearing a ring informs strangers of something that is none of their concern and labels a person as a possession, not a person. I won't wear one.

The booty whenever he's in the mood.
Answer to:
Do men hating "feminists" give a bad name to the real feminists, the ones who fought for better living conditions and human rights? I heard one on the radio saying that "it is better for women to stay single forever, because all men tend to be abusive "
The man-hating feminists are the leaders and control the movement. The only way to get away from man-haters is to disavow feminism.

Are women & men treated equally at your work place?
The women at my job get 12 weeks of parental leave but men only get 1 week! That's discrimination. Even when they give birth by c-section, it doesn't take 12 weeks to heal.
I'm not saying that women shouldn't get 12 weeks, but fathers should be treated equally, and they're not.

If women want to be treated equally then should they not expect men to open doors for them, pull out chairs, etc,?
It depends on if they're feminists or not. If they are, the answer is NO, they should not expect men to open doors, etc., because that's not equality, is it? That's expecting special treatment based on gender.
By definition, being treated equally would preclude men doing things for women that are not reciprocated at the same rate. So, if I pull her chair out, the next...

Do NOT offer any chivalry whatsoever.
Do NOT open her doors, pay for the date (ask for separate checks or calculate her share), help with her coat (let her do it herself), buy flowers (again, she can buy her own if she wants them), none of that. They hate all that.

The Problem with feminism is that it does not distinguish between "sameness" and "Equality" ... who would agree that women can be equal in importance, etc. with men, but are actually quite different and play reciprocal roles to better perform as a team?
The problem with feminism is that it uses the term "equality" differently, when they want a different outcome. When they want "identical" they use it to mean I identical; when they want "equivalence", they use it to mean that. They abuse the term equality because of it's political value.
In many regards, they really do not want equality, they want equal...

Should men give their seats to women on public transportation considering feminist equality?
No, feminists insist that men and women be treated equally, given equal respect, and equal consideration.
That means that women should be treated no worse or better than men.
So, a person should be given a seat based on individual need, such as advanced age or infirmity, not based on their sex. At least that's what a feminist should say. A woman can stand for a 30 minutes or an...
