I really don't think they are cheaper, they are issued because all the seats are sold. If someone doesn't show up for the flight his/her seat will be given to a stand-by if one is waiting. I have flown this way and it is not a great way to go because you may have to "stand-by" for a long time. If you are going to a city with few flights, you may not get there.

I have a 1993 RV with 454 Chevy. The engine occasionally quits running while driving on freeway. It quits abruptly. After 15 min it starts. Could it be overheating? Many vehicles (most of them) have a safety switch which cuts out the engine when it gets too hot. After it cools of it will start again. I have experienced this in several different vehicles. The problem may be a stuck thermostat or low on cooling fluid, eg. antifreeze and or water in the radiator.

Loose connection in the wiring at the socket or within the socket. It may be in the bulb, but that is doubtful.
