Have you ever found your zip code listed as one of the most expensive zip-codes?
i can't see how one zip code can be more expensive than another, unless you're talking about distance.
I'm sure that it costs more to send something to hawaii/alaska than it would to, say, send something to texas, if you're in the mainland. Then again, that same zip code in hawaii/alaska would be cheap to send to if you're from another part of that state.

depends on your playstyle honestly.
everybody has a preference and a reason why, to them, it's "the best".
take a look at each race's bonus, read up online what each profession are, maybe you want a race that gives you a starter bonus to the profession, maybe you want a specific class, and that limits your race choices.

both, you need to get the game (though you're basically just paying for your first month of access). you can buy the game in store which gives you a month free or you can download the "trial" which gives you the game files and 10 days of playing, and then you need to 'upgrade' your account for the same fee as buying it from the store, which gets you 1 month of game...
Answer to:
Does anyone play world of warcraft?
yeah, it's a fun pass-time.

Answer to:
Is there any way i can download the full world of warcraft game?
you can download the game for free by setting up the 10-day trial, the only restrictions from it are on your character. the game files do not change.
you can also just purchase a 60-day card or setup your account online after that, but you do need an active account to play (it's not free to play)

doubtful - the stress on the servers would be extreme, it would be hard to configure properly and most of all, there's no real need for it.
Answer to:
What is your most memorable event in World of Warcraft?
Leading my first raid. We killed the first raid boss on our first attempt (unusual, but not unheard of in the game) and then spent 2 weeks learning how to kill the 2nd boss. From there it fell into place (downed 4th and 5th bosses same night, 3rd boss 2 weeks later - skipped on night we downed 4 & 5 - then learned 6-9 in another month).

Answer to:
Is world of war craft as addicting as people say?
yes and no. some people absolutely hate it straight away, others play solo and for them there's no reason to stay online if they don't want to, and for others there's a social aspect to it (even for those of us who do have outside social lives - it's no different than developing an online frienship on AB or any other forums site).

my guild (alliance) has an injoke where everything someone wants is "for the horde". in the middle of raids if someone says "quick bio" at least one other person will do a raid warning saying "BIO BREAKS ARE FOR THE HORDE", or if they lose a roll on an item they say "ahh, that's for the horde anyways, alliance get better gear".

Answer to:
How can I improve my DPS in World of Warcraft? I have a level 70 warrior.
Make sure that you are properly specced. Arms/Fury is the way to go for dps warriors, along with VERY SLOW weapon speed/high damage weapons since most of your skills are 'instant hits' and do not depend on weapon speed.
Increasing your strength will get you more attack power, which means you hit harder. Increasing agility can increase your chance to critically hit. DPS warriors with...

How do you do the Heroic quests in World of Warcraft? I have made my first level 70 character and want to know where and what I need to do to do the heroics. Thanks
in order to do the heroic dungeons you need to have your reputation with the associated faction at honored to buy the key to 'unlock' the heroic setting. actually doing the run is a lot harder than you'll expect at first, but it's worth it once you're able to get it going.
I'd suggest starting off with Heroic Mechanaar or Heroic Slave Pens as they're the two...

Is it necessary to Raid in World of Warcraft to get the best gear? How about Honor? I have not spent much time raiding or honor, or even battlegrounds for that matter. I prefer solo pay for the most part woth some groups. Will this knock me?
to get "the" best gear, yes, you have to raid. At level 70 you can join an arena team and get slightly-less-than-the-best gear if you're good, and it takes a lot of time.
i'm guild leader of a raiding guild - it can take a while to learn the fights sometimes, but once you learn the basics of how raids are different from regular instances it becomes easy to adapt and learn...

For all the World of Warcraft fans out there, I just started playing. I am a Dranei with a mining profession and I want to know some good copper vein locations (I am a level 5 by the way).
at level 5 you're pretty limited to the starter zone. basically just look for anything "rocky" - in the middle of a field if you see a rock sticking out of the ground, chances are you'll be able to mine there at some point.
mining nodes are 'random', but they respawn at the same places a lot (the randomness is where they spawn overall). I'd suggest staying...

What is the best character to play in World of Warcraft when it comes to DPS and professions?
I've got a rogue, a shaman and a mage for dps classes and i think my rogue is slightly better than the other two in terms of damage capacity.
I left my mage behind at 61 to work on gearing the rogue/shaman in end-game epics, but when they were all at the same level that my mage is, it was very close, but the rogue had less down time, so overall had more output potential. In a raid boss...

For others it's to learn about the person, maybe why they do things a certain way, if they are just superstitious and lucky as a result, or if past experiences have given them a good educated...

I have a similar issue, it's an OCD and it can be a problem at younger ages with school-work.
What i found worked well for me were two separate things that i could do passively that helped me concentrate on the topic.

Would you go on a date with a vampire if you had a chance? Would tou let the vampire bite you?
No and No. My wife would kill me before she let me go out with a vampire (unless it was her), and then she'd kill me if i let the vampire bite me (double there, because if she was the one biting me i'd die before turning, and if it wasn't her, she'd hunt me down and kill me again).
Answer to:
Don't you think it would be gross to be a vampire? Sucking people's blood with all these different diseases out there?
i think that the same gene that lets them live forever as vampires would effectively deal with diseases.

Vampires - the cure for Cancer, Aids and Emos.
Answer to:
If you had a chance to become a vampire would you?
Hard to say - biggest "yes" contributor would be if either my wife joined too, or she had passed away.
If 'no' to either of those then i wouldn't turn.
The biggest difference would be the blood, i'm ok with it, i'm just one of those "i like my steak well done" people....

if you use a pen name in the beginning, and your script/treatment/book is rejected, then you can try again under your real name or another pen name later.
if you use your real name first, it's more difficult to administer a second copy since they will want your real name for financial purposes should they choose to do something with it.

Subtitle in the 2nd official language and be done with it. If you have more than 2, and people don't speak the first or second, they've got some problems that go beyond who the politicians are.

Answer to:
You're on the road to either heaven or hell. You come to a fork in the road, one way to heaven, the other to hell. There is a man. The man is either from heaven & tells only the truth, or from hell & only lies. How do you get to heaven? No turning back...
since you never put a limit on how many questions you can ask, start by asking a simple question like "which direction did i come from" and then ask whether heaven/hell is down one of the two remaining choices. based on his first answer, you'll know which path to take.

what society sees as being "acceptable".

there is no universal "normal" or "weird" - they are ever-evolving and based 100% on who you are around.

Life without religion would be paradise.

It is, because though it only appears red to us when there is light, the actual flower does not change what it is in peroids of darkness, and every time you turn the light back on, the color is identical (assuming same lighting).
Therefore, the rose will not change, only your perception of its inherent colour.

How do you know if your boyfriend really does love you like he says he does?
depends, are you holding back sex? :p
if you're young, many people often think they are in love when they're not, or will use the phrase to get things they want, since they assume it will open doors for them, so to speak.
real love is something you know, you care as much about the other person, or more, as you do about yourself.

How many ear piercings are to many?
if you're a guy, 2 is too many. 1 is often too many since they look dumb on most guys (men who are trying to pass themselves off as a woman fall under the women category for piercings).

because they like abuse
Answer to:
Why do women make hints about things, an expect men to know exactly what they mean? ( example "Its a beautiful day outside, why are we wasting it indoors" instead of just saying " let's go do something outside together"?)
if you can't get something like "it's a beautiful day outside, why are we wasting it indoors" then you've really got the blinders on. Now, if it was phrased like "it's a nice day outside" and nothing else was stated after, then i can see the confusion.

Do you think its wierd for a girlfirend to want you to switch to tightey whities? Also is it wierd for a 23 year old to wear tightey whities?
Not weird at all. And as for the whole thong thing, there are actually designed for men thongs that some guys wear. I see them on the underwear rack next to the boxers (they're in plastic bags, a few in a pack) - so asking to switch to "tightie whities" is better than asking your guy to switch to a thong.

Do tree huggers really hug trees, and do Bible thumpers really thump their Bibles?
Tree-huggers got the name from handcuffing themselves around a tree to prevent deforestation/logging. In order to do that they would have their arms going around as much of the tree as they could and a chain of handcuffs connecting what they couldn't reach, thus "hugging" the tree.
Bible thumpers (as i said in the comment above) are known to hold the bible in one hand and...

Where does the wind come from?
Wind is a result of changing air pressures, nothing magical about it.
At the equator, due to the Earth's axis, this region is the closest to the Sun, and therefore the area most warmed by it. From here the air heats up and follows a process where it rises/cools/falls. Since hot air is lighter than cold air and will rise into the sky until it reaches approximately 10 km (6 miles) altitude...

Both. I can be very blunt and to the point, but sharp in that i rarely leave myself without any viable options.

not really - fear is only a motivator for me in urgent situations. in day-to-day life situations, my family is my main motivator. I want to have children, see them grow, see them have children, etc. I want them to have all of the best that I can provide for them both physically and mentally in their life. you're not missing out on anything with beer (it's an acquired taste, so unless you Want to drink it, don't bother), coffee is addictive (my leg is shaking now because i need to make my coffee run) and tea is just weak. if you're going to drink tea, jump to coffee - it's much better.

I think it already happened. I generally try to take life on a "control what you can and don't worry about what you can't" approach, but lately i've been having episodes where i turn into a real jerk for no apparent reason and i feel giddy afterwords.
i blame pollution........because the fumes are changing my brain? ;-)

The weather here today is enough to piss off the Good Humor man. Can anyone relate? Yesterday was beautiful.
Sure can. 400+ cm of snow from Nov 15th until Feb 15th and now it's in this 'grey area' of melting during the day and forming ice at night, so the roads are absolutely horrible.

Who is going to Prom? Or what do you remember most about your prom year?
My prom is when I realized that it's just an over-hyped dance with no real impact on my life. I hung out with the same friends and partied with them after - the same as usual, we were just better dressed this time.
For some people it's the "end of an era" when everybody goes their own way and it's a last big party. To each their own :-)

I am a 1st time offender of cheating and my bf and I of 2 years are working through it. We are in counseling and are both VERY heartbroken and at a loss. What else, besides counseling, can I do or say to help mend our broken trust and hearts?
Give him time. The fact that he wants to work through it is a very positive sign.
I would recommend not smothering him though - try to take life normally. "Compensating" for it only reinforces to him that you did it and reminds him of it on a regular basis.
It's very hard to come back from that sort of thing, but possible. In the end, the biggest lesson to learn here is yours...
Answer to:
I'm preparing dinner for all of you tonight, what do you want in your dish?
Pork Chops and Baked Potato covered in Cattleman's Original BBQ sauce. I had it last night and bizarrely got an invite this morning to join some friends for supper and they're making (you guessed it) the same thing tonight. They apparently loved the sauce when we had them over last week with steak and wanted to try it on pork.

Yes. I would see that as someone who fancies himself a ladies man, yet would be more at home watching Porno and drinking beer with two other guys, yet also would threated to knife you for suggesting that watching porno that way is in any way homo-erotic.

How does www.blackle.com save energy?
because it does not take any energy to show black on a computer screen, but to show white takes the most energy.
so by having a black background with coloured text on it takes less energy per monitor than the white color. on an individual case this is an insignificant energy saving, but on millions of screens it equates to a lot of energy.

Answer to:
Have you ever had a dream that repeats some part of it over and over again? What do you make of this phenomenon?
Frequently. Dreams are the subconscious minds way of working through problems. Having the same dream over and over (or at least parts of it) is a sign that there is something that has been heavily on your mind and you have been unable to resolve. You may wake up one morning with an epiphany and never have the dream again.
Answer to:
Do you believe our specific life experiences are necessary because of the lessons we need to learn as human beings or do you think our lives are haphazard, happenstance and a crapshoot?
I think that our lives have meaning. We learn, we grow and when we die we go back to the earth. Who's to say that a part of our experiences don't get passed along on a subconscious level to future lives? I'm not strictly talking people either, but animals and plants too, and from them the collective experiences are also passed along to others.

Putting aside the hype of the movie, is there any truth to the idea that it's easier to find connections to the number 23 in history, math, etc. than for other numbers greater than 13?
13 is considered unlucky in "western" cultures, 42 is considered unlucky in asian (japanese at least) culture(s), 23 is no different.
Western culture has no problem with 42 (it IS the answer to the Ultimate question of Life, The Universe and Everything after all!), and Japanese have no problem with 13, so it's a personal thing.

Why shower curtains always have 12 holes, and shower curtain rings are sold in sets of 12, but hot dog buns are sold in sets of 8 and hot dogs in sets of 10 or 12?
by selling 8 buns and 12 hot dogs in a package, they force people to spend more money, thus increasing their profits.
Many people will buy a 2nd package of buns to accomodate the hot dog count, but will then feel unbalanced in the bun category, so they buy a 3rd set of buns and 2nd set of hot dogs to end up with 24 of each and "be balanced".

Should a person be able to file a wrongful death suit against someone who had a heartattack/stroke behind the wheel, and accidently killed someone, with no prior medical condition, or knowledge that they are at risk?
I do not think it should even be able to be filed. I agree that losing someone is tragic and hard, but with the driver having no prior condition or knowledge, they had no way to predict that they would have a heart attack.
Filing this suit only serves to add to everybody's pain: the driver already would feel guilty about causing the death, now he would feel anger at the person filing it....

Thankfully i live on my own and I never have to worry about it anymore (since i live 1/2 way across the country from my family, i'm not there for the monthly/bi-weekly corned beef dinner).

My girlfriend cheated 6 months or so ago, and we have had wierdness in our relationship since then. Our sex life has been difficult, at times mindblowing and at other times I have difficulty with erections. How do we get past this?
dump her and start dating someone new.
there's also the option that you can suggest inviting someone to join you guys since it doesn't sound like this is "the relationship". she could be a good candidate for trying some of that stuff out with, then move on after. :-)
Answer to:
How do I tell my fiance that I checked out his facebook, without him knowing, and found out that he's intimate with another women?
if it's from after you were together call off the engagement. since HE cheated on YOU, you get to keep the ring if you want it (a little extra jab at him).
i've had relationships before i met my wife, and she had relationships before she met me. just because we were intimate with people in the past does not mean we will be that way with them in the future. give the guy a chance to...

If a girl in college is engaged to a guy 300 miles away, but has a "boyfriend" at school that she spends time in his bed making out topless with him, is she considered a slut?
slut/whore whatever term you want to put on her, yes.
call it off ASAP and get your ring back. sell it to a pawn shop or something, get some money back for it. do not hold onto it or attempt to give it to someone else. when you find a new woman that wants to spend Her life with You too (unlike ms. topless with another guy) buy a new ring that isn't "tainted".

Fooled around with old friend, he didnt' tell me he was engaged and expecting. They are going to Vegas next week to marry. He keeps trying to sleep with me. Want to tell her, but then I will look guilty. But I would want to know, what shoudl I do?
i'd let the wife-to-be know. it's going to come out at some point, tell her that you guys kissed or whatever, but you stopped it and let her know he continues to make advances on you still. she'll be pissed at you for your share of the infidelity, but what's worse, having it come from you now, or finding out in 10/12 years after she catches him with another woman and he...

What possible reason could my husband have in looking at very sexy pics of hot actor from Gray's Anatomy? I was looking at the history on comp. and he went to various sites looking specifically at one man, but why is he looking....should i confront him?
he could be curious. that does not mean he finds you any less attractive/desirable or love you any less. Many women admit to having an attraction to some other women (angelina jolie is the leading lady in that category), some men also feel the same but cannot admit it without being stereotyped as being gay.
if it worries you so much confront him, but do so in a neutral way, do not attack him....

Could you forgive a wife of fifteen years for kissing and hugging another man when she was drunk, considering she stopped it before it lead to sex or intercourse?
a quick kiss on the lips does not constitute cheating. it can convey friendship, but unless it was a prolonged kiss, or a french-kiss i would not worry about it too much.

I was recently going through my guys emails and it has fling.com and the likes. Im married to him, he never mentioned that stuff to me. Should i be worried? I manage his email since internet has been shut off for a week at his FOB.
I would just talk to him about it. I still get emails from adultfriendfinder.com from two years before my wife and I even met (we met 5 years ago...)

if you can't finish it the way the designers made it, decrease the difficulty level. if you still can't, practice it, learn where guys come out and what they do - eventually you'll be able to run through the level with your eyes closed, it's how all of us old 8-bit-gamers learned.

either you bought the wrong type of hdmi cable (there are a few) or since you still have the component cables connected it's checking the system and using them first (the 30 seconds would be boot-up time and scanning the hardware?)
try removing the component cables and if that doesn't work check your hdmi cable packaging and make sure it's rated for 720p

Do you believe we have all been on this Earth before?
In a sense.
Part of us is organic matter that decayed from another living being. That living being had organic matter that decayed from another living being inside them. So you could trace that back to the dawn of life on earth saying that at a microscopic level, you have a piece of that being in you.

Answer to:
Do you agree that people own their bodies and should be allowed to put whatever they want into them?
as long as that does not affect the well being of others, sure.
although, if you are in a relationship, your physical well-being affects their mental (and as a result physical) well-being, so it is not 100% "your" body anymore.

Answer to:
Have you ever leaned your arm on something and the thing you were leaning on broke?
yes, fortunately i've escaped major injury to my body, but my ego is on life support
Answer to:
Do you ever visit somewhere from your childhood, and it's either tore down or completely different? I find it really sad, thinking back to how great it was.
Yes, but it's also a difference of seeing the world from a different set of eyes. When you're young everything is fresh and new, and you live in the (hopefully) safety of a loving family. When you're older and return to that spot, many years have gone by, as buildings get older it makes us realize our own mortality and that we too, like the buildings, will topple (or be toppled)...
Answer to:
The other day I was at a toy store and my two little girls wanted me to buy them a couple of dolls. They love dolls and acting like good mommies to them. Yet when we were lining up at the cashier, some woman told me that dolls are sexist. Your opinion?
Dolls are sexist. Cars are sexist. Dolls in cars are sexist. What isn't about sex anymore?
Can't a kid just have a toy to play with and not have a hidden agenda??

Answer to:
So, who are you really?
I am a product of the collective imagination of AB users. I do not really exist. As luck would have it, i am random words from random posts that actually form a reasonable answer on most occasions. On the times i do not, i blame the randomness of random other answers from which I draw my existance.

Answer to:
Do you find it appropriate to post half naked pictures of yourself on AB?
Since AB is not designed to be an "adult" site, i would say no. it's a place to ask questions and get answers, not show off your body, there's lots of people out there willing to pay for those photos elsewhere. While some people may not mind, and others support it, the majority of users here, i'm willing to bet, do not think this the proper forum for those photos.

Answer to:
I want a small tattoo. Does anyone have any ideas? Also where is a good spot that isn't that noticable for a tattoo?
i got a symbol of pisces (my astrological sign) because it's very much a part of who i am (i fit the description to a tee as i found out shortly before i got my tattoo).
if you're a guy, on your left/right bicep is a good spot. it can be shown off easily, but all work clothes will hide it (good for career management ;) )
if you're a girl, it's hard because a lot of formal...

Answer to:
Where can i get good ideas for asking a boy to a sadie hawkins dance?
i'd start by talking to the guy about it in general, see if he comes out and says he's going or not going with anybody yet. at least then you're "on topic" when you ask him.
Answer to:
What is the tackiest/lame pick up line you ever heard?
That dress would look great on the floor beside my bed.
Answer to:
Can anyone assist me with pick up lines that might work on girls?
"Hi, i'm (say your name here)." if she smiles and says hello back talk to her. "Lines" don't work.
Answer to:
Went out dancing last night w/the girls.I was told by much younger man~"You don't look THAT old!You look much younger!"Would you consider this a compliment or a pick up line?
probably a bit of both; and he probably was in shock at your age. he might've figured "she's 33/34, out on the prowl, time for johnny to put on the moves" then got floored at how great you look for your age.
give him a call, you'll both come out of it with happy memories :)

Answer to:
What is a real cute way to ask a girl out?
Talk to her a bit, get to know her, and then ask "would you like to go see that movie we were talking about the other day?" and when she asks what movie that was you say "oh...i forget, but it sounded like something you really wanted to see, so take your pick".

There is this girl who works at a store by me, I wanna walk up to her and ask her out but anymore nobody does that, its almost like you have to become friends first, what would you say girls?
she'll probably say no, but if you talk to her (not just customer/clerk talk, but REAL talk) she might say yes.

Answer to:
Who do you believe was the best Disney villain?
Cruella DeVille was definately scariest as a child, but "best" as in "i enjoyed watching the most" was probably either Gaston or Captain Barbossa in the first Pirates movie.
