Depends on the casting of it. I was in POTC 2. I simply showed up where filming was taking place looking rough and rugged.....and ugly...and they said "you stand over here and act drunk." Most times thats the case, others, you have to have a headshot and what not.

Money. Plain and simple. The longer a film is, the less times they can run it, so they cut it. If a film has an R rating, it doesnt do as well as it could with a PG13 rating, so they cut it. When you put something out with "version not seen in theaters" people buy it up. And on DVD...

BB King for his 80th birthday. The man played for almost 3 hours. Of course he was sitting down, but he played every song that I knew, plus some I'd never heard. He told stories and was just one of the best performers, even though he was 80.

Tom and Jerry...the earlier ones...were very inventive, racy and just well done. Every single episode used different music and was hand painted frame by frame...It was great. Popeye used a lot of the same backgrounds and story lines. Both are great...but Tom and Jerry...just a bit better.
