If you're just visiting a country, you can get by in bigger cities knowing only a few phrases in the language of that country. It can be handy to know a second language, but it's generally not needed for English speakers. It's just easier to have the world adjust to you.

We know that eating things with weird colors or smells can do funny things, so we instinctively stay away from those. We also know what flavors or textures we dislike, and avoid those as well. Dogs use these to distinguish between edible and inedible things, although sometimes they're just dumb and eat poo or something.

We mainly use normal plates/bowls, with a paper plate over a normal plate for greasy things or cake. Do other users find AB working slow ,at times,when it comes to viewing you own profile,asking questions, getting to the subjects(Social,Expert ETC), or giving points? For me, it usually has to do with my connection. If it's slow then some things will load more slowly and some things won't load.

I've noticed a lot of people use the word "Meh" when posting messages or comments online these days. What does it actually mean? It's kind of like a shrug. That's usually used for captions on lolcats, those cat pictures with captions on them.

Why when people see obese children they are mad at the parents but when they see obese adults they seem to just feel sorry for them? The children don't make their own choices about what to eat. They just eat what the parents give them, so if the parent gives them too much they can become obese. An obese adult can make their own food choices but choose not to eat healthily (or can't, as healthy, fresh food is more expensive than fast food).

Does anybody else wish that when they designed keyboards the should have kept the "SHIFT" key away from the "CAPS LOCK" key? Maybe it's just me, but I find it easier to hit Shift instead of Caps Lock. On my keyboard there's a gap between the A and Caps Lock and it feels more natural to move my pinky finger down to Shift instead of all the way to the side to hit Caps Lock. But maybe it's because I type so much and never use Caps Lock, so I'm just used to it.

If you have multiple children, how far apart are they? When do YOU think the best time is to have another? My 2 are 17 months apart, not on purpose, but it's wonderful! I don't have kids but my brother and I are twins, and we're only two minutes apart.

As you post an answer, you notice that you have infinite space to type as much as needed. Do you think that Answerbag should limit an answer like questions and comments, or is it still needed? It's still needed. Some people post really long-winded answers so they would need to post in two or more answers if there was a character limit. The answers could get separated and hard to find if someone rates one part but not the other.

Unless it has to do with something with me being an athlete. Do you think I am anerexic? Being anorexic means you don't eat much and/or exercise excessively. You say you eat a lot, so that rules out starving yourself. And it doesn't really sound like you're worried about your weight, so I'd say no.

When I was a kid we HATED anyone who's parents actually drove them around while trick-or-treating. Now that I'm an adult I see my friends driving their kids around and frankly, I still hate them. It's just so wrong. Your thoughts..... I think so too, with all the candy they're going to be eating they will need the exercise. Kids are getting fatter by the minute these days. Not really, I usually use the search box, and if I can't find it, I just go with the category that would fit best.
