Answer to:
Do you enjoy teaching? Would you work as a teacher? Why? and Why not?
As a student, I like helping my friends out when they don't understand things, but that's mostly because it helps me clarify and reinforce ideas. I wouldn't work as a teacher though because I get impatient when people don't understand things quickly after I explain them. I also tend to have a hard time explaining things simply or clearly, and don't like dealing with kids in general, especially...

Couldn't you ask her by email or IM or something? If not, the other answers are good ideas.
A tip: Invite other girls besides her, or she'll feel awkward and kind of singled out being the only girl there. (Dunno if you were planning to do that, but it kind of sounds like you weren't..?)

Answer to:
Why do most people who have English as their first language, not speak a second?
Because English is becoming really common in other countries. If you're just visiting a country, you can get by in bigger cities knowing only a few phrases in the language of that country. It can be handy to know a second language, but it's generally not needed for English speakers. It's just easier to have the world adjust to you.
Answer to:

How exactly do dogs know what is or isn't safe to eat? Is it due to genetics, or experience?
Probably pretty much the same way humans tell. We know that eating things with weird colors or smells can do funny things, so we instinctively stay away from those. We also know what flavors or textures we dislike, and avoid those as well. Dogs use these to distinguish between edible and inedible things, although sometimes they're just dumb and eat poo or something.

How do you "purse" your lips so you can blow a trumpet or a conch?
For trumpet, you press your lips together so they form a thin line, then you blow. You might need to adjust how tight together your lips are, or tighten or loosen your cheek muscles a little. Your lips are supposed to buzz. I find it easier when you have an actual mouthpiece to blow into, though.

Why do some people wear the same pants 3-4 days in a row, but bother to change their shirts? Don't the pants get as dirty as well?
Shirts are in direct contact with your armpits and other sweaty places, so they get smellier faster. And shirts are more noticeable. People can tell if you wear a shirt two days in a row (unless all your shirts look similar), but pants are usually harder to tell apart.
Also, pants, especially jeans, are usually pretty bulky, so it would be better if you only had two or three pairs to wear...

Haha, I got 16%. And it would've been 12% if my mom hadn't made me do ballet and gymnastics (but I sucked at both anyway). So let's say 14%.
So...you need to have a lot of shoes and clothes, love pink and shopping, and never play any sports to be girly, hm?

Maybe only for users who join but never do anything. They should be removed after..6 months maybe? They're just a waste of space. If they removed everyone who hasn't been active, so many valuable questions and answers would be deleted.

Do other users find AB working slow ,at times, when it comes to viewing you own profile, asking questions, getting to the subjects(Social,Expert ETC), or giving points?

Please don't type in all caps.
Currently I like an online game called Music Catch. It's simple, you catch shapes with your mouse, but it's really relaxing.
I also like Seiklus, a downloadable Game Maker game. It has great music and art and is quite simple to play, but it's still fun.

Can anyone solve this question in steps 4(4y+2)=2(1+6y)+8?
Clearly you're just doing your homework on AB. You can ask us for help with the problems but not post the exact problems here and tell us to solve them.
You need to multiply both 4y and 2 by 4. On the other side of the equation you have to multiply 6y and 1 by 2, then add 8. After you simplify both sides, you can simplify even more by moving the variables and the numbers to different...

Why when people see obese children they are mad at the parents but when they see obese adults they seem to just feel sorry for them?
The children don't make their own choices about what to eat. They just eat what the parents give them, so if the parent gives them too much they can become obese. An obese adult can make their own food choices but choose not to eat healthily (or can't, as healthy, fresh food is more expensive than fast food).

Maybe it's just me, but I find it easier to hit Shift instead of Caps Lock. On my keyboard there's a gap between the A and Caps Lock and it feels more natural to move my pinky finger down to Shift instead of all the way to the side to hit Caps Lock. But maybe it's because I type so much and never use Caps Lock, so I'm just used to it.

Well, points are given to questions and answers, and they contain knowledge, and knowledge is power, and power is measured in watts. If you use 1000 watts for an hour then the measurement is a kilowatt-hour, and the costs to buy electricity for kilowatt-hours varies. So it really depends on how much they charge you for electricity where you live. lol :D

I sure hope it's out by now, but if it's still there, lower down a basket with food in it and hope it gets in so you can pull it out.

Why don't people drink human milk instead of cow milk?
There wouldn't be any volunteers, unless you want milk prices to be really high. Some people would probably say it's unethical or something. And a woman has to be pregnant to produce milk.

Are you more grossed out by cockroaches than by any other insect?
I've seen live ones in the zoo (why the heck do they belong there? I don't know..) but that tank thing was dark so I wasn't really grossed out. Other than that, I've never seen live cockroaches, so I wouldn't know. Spiders are pretty creepy though.

Do you think I am anerexic? I am 14 and weigh 102 pounds. And I am like way under weight for my age group. But i eat alottttttttt and never gain anything. Unless it has to do with something with me being an athlete. Do you think I am anerexic?
Being anorexic means you don't eat much and/or exercise excessively. You say you eat a lot, so that rules out starving yourself. And it doesn't really sound like you're worried about your weight, so I'd say no.

I loved mayo as a kid, but now it just tastes bleh. (It's still okay when it's mixed with stuff though.)
And I used to hate dill pickles, I liked the sweet kind, but now I like dill and can tolerate the sweet kind.
And ranch dressing. Hate that stuff now.

When I was a kid we HATED anyone who's parents actually drove them around while trick-or-treating. Now that I'm an adult I see my friends driving their kids around and frankly, I still hate them. It's just so wrong. Your thoughts.....
I think so too, with all the candy they're going to be eating they will need the exercise. Kids are getting fatter by the minute these days. And if parents are worried about their kids being abducted, they should walk with their kids.

Not really, I usually use the search box, and if I can't find it, I just go with the category that would fit best. If there's a better category, someone who knows what it is will flag it for being in the wrong category and get their 5 points. Everyone wins! :D

When having sunny side up eggs, I pop the yolk then dip the whites in it, then try to get the yolk into my mouth without dripping.
When I peel hard-boiled eggs, I...
