How many of you use your home printers to print off photos, and how many of you go to a special photo printing kiosk? I've done both and the kiosk is much better compared to my printer. I have an HP Photosmart C3180 and besides the ink being incredibly expensive for photos, the ink runs when touched with the slightest bit of water even after being dry for several weeks.

You of course either take the lime out and carefully squeeze the juice into the bottle tossing the lime aside afterward, or you do like I used to: squeeze the juice into the bottle, peel the rind off and shove the lime down into the bottle. :) Corona is also good without the lime.

Required a trip to the emergency room and several stitches. Been hit several times since then and even came close to being tested for a closed head injury. $3000 deterred me from that test however. I'll live without knowing...oh well!

Does your state have, or enforce, a "no smoking in public places" law? Yup. Used to be just buildings and such...now it's also extending to state parks. So many feet from the water, so many feet from the buildings. One beach in my area is going to be left with a 5 foot or so wide strip for people to smoke in.

Two of my sisters got a computer virus from FaceBook. Has this happened to anyone else? Not yet for me...my computer kept getting attacked a year or so ago whenever I visited myspace. My glasses frame broke, so I had to have it soldered together. It was only a little dan, but the solder contains lead in it. I am now wearing the glasses, and I am feeling nausea. Is this lead poisoning, or Am I just nauseous for some other reason? You may feel sick because of the glasses not sitting the same way on your nose and ears. All it takes for me to feel that way is to have more or less distance between my glasses and my eyes. Just that will get me feeling that way.

Is it cheaper for a company to CLAIM they have the lowest prices (and give a discount to the occasional customer that found better prices elsewhere) rather than to ACTUALLY have the lowest prices? Yes. Even in this day and age, not as many people check around. For some that would mean burning mucho petrol. Where does the price even out when you consider time and gas wasted. So the occasional discount is better than lowest prices all the way around. Walmart is certainly not the cheapest on everything, neither is my local supermarket chain, even though they claim to be.

Birds, unlike other animals, always seem to make it out of the road in time. Have you ever run over a bird? Yes...we actually had a car(corsica) that emitted a certain frequency or pitch that attracted all sorts of wildlife, birds among them. They'd fly into the closed windows, swoop down on us and misjudge(or maybe they didn't?). The vehicle finally met its demise courtesy of an 8 point buck.

Copy a seed or clip a plant for cloning? If you come across something extremely desirable, variety or disease resistance, I'd say clone the strongest looking one. I wouldn't even begin to know how to copy a seed, unless you mean by cross-breeding. I hear that takes a few generations before the actual desired result is achieved. I may be wrong though.

Have you ever taken a trip and gotten stranded because of the weather and had to stay longer than planned? Yes, it worked out perfectly. Wife and I were stuck up at a lakeside cabin staring at Mt Katahdin during a freak early snow storm. Couldn't leave for two days. No electricity, no phone, plenty of wood, food and coffee...outhouse trips weren't too fun, but it was still a slice of heaven for sure! Best time I can remember in recent years.

I have 4 cats and I think I probably spend about $1100 a year averaging $15 a week for food and it seems I can't go to the vet without dropping $300. Too much for what we get in return at this point. I deal with occassional muscle spasms in my upper arms, thighs, and abdomen. I can find no obvious trigger. They're not really worrisome, but are coming more frequently. Doctors are temp out - no insurance. Any ideas as to what they are & how to stop? Not exactly sure what causes it in you, but try looking up the benefits of and maybe carefully adding potassium, in some form, to your diet. It's supposed to aid in helping the nerves to fire correctly. I have spasms in my legs post surgery and a potassium suppliment does seem to help me out some. Good luck.

Do you stalk your prey for a while before taking the perfect photo or do you just snap photos randomly? I stalk long enough to try and get a picture with few to no obstructions. If for some reason the prey is spooked, the picture just wasn't meant to be taken at that time. Either way I thank God for giving me the chance to see what it was I saw, and I move on. With the abundance of subjects in my state, there's a good possibility that I'll get another chance.

Do you believe the US should allow torture? No. Considering that most of the information we glean from such sessions is totally useless(how many of us would make up things or say anything that our captors wanted to hear to make it stop?), torture is basically a waste of time. What if these guys make up things so that they'll seem more dedicated and 'hardcore' to the cause to their comrades?

Why does Vista install updates almost daily to my computer? (I recently reinstalled Vista) It's what is known as 'the nature of the Windows beast'. Mine is set to check for updates daily and it automatically installs them for me. It's helpful for patches and fixes, virus protection, compatibility issues etc... merry1 has a good suggestion on what action to take if you're not happy with what's going on.

What is port? Beavis is right. That and maybe a product called "FingerEase". It's a string lubricant that comes in a spray can. I'm not sure if it has any bad effects on strings, like aging them quicker or changing sound slightly. Pretty sure it's available at most musical instrument stores or online. It should help on the neck area, not sure about over the pickup area.

You're looking at cemeteries, camera in hand. You find an old woman sitting on bench talking to her dead husband. The dead husband has been gone for six years and was a WW2 veteran. Do you say anything to her? Nope. As soon as I see someone in a cemetery when I'm taking pictures, I give them all the space they deserve. I afford her the same respect I would expect someone to afford me. I avoid that part of the cemetery until they're gone, or if it's a small place I leave and come back later.

We lost another analog channel, due to them switching over to digital and can't even pick it up with the converter box now.
