Is it true that Mormonism is the only religion that allows its members to pray for answers?
I pray to God in repentance as well as to praise Him. I talk to God everyday. God has also provided His Word, the Bible. This is God's Word! The Bible teaches us what He wants us to know... (are you getting it yet?) If the Book of Mormon is in direct contradiction with the Bible (Gos's Word to us), why do I need to ask God if the Book of Mormon is true or not?

Answer to:
What is the Mormon concept of hell?
Thanks for the answer Glenn Blaylock.
From you answer I will conclude that:
* Your concept of hell is not the same as a Christian's.
* We have to pay for our sins before our suffering ends or until resurrection.
* Based on what we do in this life determines which one of the 3 kingdoms we will be placed in.
* The ultimate punishment is to be permantly cut off from God. This means...

Answer to:
What is the Mormon belief regarding forgiveness of murder?
In response to Glenn Blaylock.
According to what I believe the Bible says, sinning against the Holy Spirit is essentially not believing in Christ. This is why Christ can not forgive this sin. In other words, How can Christ forgive you if you do not believe in what he did for you(rhetorical quesstion)?
Answer to:
I had a poster which quoted scripture from the Bible. The name of the poster was "I AM". Where is this in the Bible?
Here is the Bible verse: Exodus 3:14
"http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=2&chapter=3&verse=14&version=31&context=verse"
There are actually a number of verses through out the Bible that refer to God/Jesus as "I am". The verse above is the first place that God actually gives his name.

Answer to:
Do Mormons believe in all of the Bible?
Glenn Blaylock...
In the link you provided, the very first entry of a missing book is not missing at all... so I did not even investigate the rest (yet).
Exodus 20:22-23:19 is what many believe to be the Book of the Covenant.

Answer to:
Why did Joseph Smith have so many wives when the Bible expresses the importance of faithfulness in marriage and sexual morality?
Do you sin? (Bible say there is no one without sin) If you do, God allowed it to happen.
**************************************************************
The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. The Bible also tells us that there is no one that is righteous and that all of us have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
According to the above statements we all are condemmed to...

Answer to:
Did Joseph Smith change his translation of the Book of Mormon? If so, how many times?
Some additional research has lead me here:
http://www.lds-mormon.com/transltn.shtml
It turns out that the Urim and the Thummim talked about in the Bible was never used to translate the current version of the Book of Mormon. It seems Joseph Smith used a "seer stone", placed it in a hat, stuck his face in the hat and then recieved "revelation" from god as to what...

Answer to:
What relationship, if any, is there in Mormon beliefs between the mortal body and godhood?
Jesus's whole mission was to be a Savior to a lost sinful world. HE led the perfect life God demands that we can not. HE willing sacrificed Himself to atone for the sins of the whole world. The blood HE shed for us covers the sins of the those that believe so that God looks down on us and sees us as righteous. The only thing that we need to do is accept what he has already done.

Answer to:
Other than Native Americans and Africans, are there any other ethnic groups that Mormons believe have specific physical features because they were cursed by God?
While Martin Luther was instrumental in the protestant reformation, he did not claim to be a prophet of God in the sense that an LDS member would consider the president of their Church. God used Martin Luther to do a number things for His Glory. I don't claim to be an expert on Marin Luther but I do know that he was a sinner just like I am and was in need of forgiveness.
If Martin...
