In order to be emancipated, you would already have to be living on your own, and supporting yourself. There would also have to be abuse (mental or physical) in the picture. If you're trying for emancipation solely for the money, it won't even so much as get considered by the courts.

It depends on the person. It is a huge misconception that homosexuality and transsexuality are at all related. It depends on where your father is in the situation, but as long as you don't have to long to wait, try to avoid her at all costs and then move yourself out asap when you turn 18. If you have to wait a long time (like a whole year) then I'd go for it if you're up for it.
