I lost my mom on Labor Day 2007. Have I recovered? Not even close. It's a pain I'll never get over - I've just learned to cope with it. Sometimes I cry when I think of things she didn't live to see - my daughter will graduate in June and be off to college, my sons have grown...

I've never had an atheist come to my door that I know of, but I do always answer the door and am polite unless someone gets pushy with me to the point of being obnoxious and annoying. Then I just say (again) that I'm not interested and shut the door.

I am dealing with exactly that same problem right now! My HP Pavilion is only 5 months old so I'm taking in for service today hoping it's still under warranty. I have a newer laptop (5 months) - HP Pavilion. The screen froze, couldn't move the cursor, etc. I turned the laptop off...

I eat both pieces together only if I use the bagel to make a sandwich. Otherwise, I eat 1/2 bagel each morning with Jif Peanut Butter & Honey spread. Yum.

Kudos to the women's shelter! Aside from that comment being completely inappropriate, I think Sandra Bernhard in general lacks class and tact all the way around.
