Answer to:
How could you achieve immortality?
Their are two forms of Immortality, physical and metaphysical. Metaphysically, you are only immortal as long as you are remembered. While this could be for a considerable amount of time, given the finite nature or pretty much everything, eventually you will no longer be remembered so this way is impossible. Physically, as far as living forever is concerned, I'm fairly certian it is currently...

Answer to:
Can someone be both theist and atheist?
Technically yes. You could be an atheist concerning on deity and a theist concerning another. For example; If you believe in the God of the Bible, you are a theist. At the same time you could (and likely do) not believe in Thor, Norse god of thunder, making you an atheist at the same time, by definition anyway.

Atheists, will you sacrifice your firstborn to Richard Dawkins on National Worship Science Day?
Absolutely, I do it every friday at my bible/Quran buring ceremony while me and my fellow atheists dance around a giant bonfire wearing our fournication hats and drawing pentagrams on each others genitals as we chant "evolution revolution" and engage in premarital sex.

Seriously? No seriously, I have heard some bad logical fallacies before but seriously? Answer to:
Why are you afraid to believe in God?:)?
This is an inflammatory question but regardless, I do not fear it, in fact I believe it would be easier to actually believe in a God, it would answer any and all questions I do or ever will have. But that doesn't satisfy my need to know, because it gives no why. My mind only deals in the rational, omitting matters of amour, and "God did it" simply isn't a rational answer.
Answer to:
Have you ever noticed that atheists seem to know more about religions than theists?
Eh that's a bit of a generalization, while its true some do, it also goes both ways. Really your knowledge simply depends on your interset in the topic. I is really best for people to be well versed in both sides of an opinion before making a decision on the topic. Unfortunately, most people care as much about this as they do about political policy.

Do you think Darwin was an atheist?
http://youtu.be/yDdaStk5SEM
No, evolution does not conflict with theism. Based upon his life, the ideas at the time, and Darwins own writings, he most likely believed in a God. He was disillousined at one point in his life but I believe he maintained a faith throughout his life, albiet a weakening one.

Answer to:
Is it hypocritical for a Christian to be intolerant of atheism?
It's rather difficult to make a ruling on that. The old Testament is pretty harsh to atheists but the New Testament is much cooler and tolerant, but not entirely. I would have to say it depends on the person's personality. If they are already and intolerant prick than they aren't a hypocrite, they are just an ass. If they practice tolerance in some parts of their lives, but not here, then yes...

while I don't go around openly discussing religion, it is one of the three social taboos. I make no attempt to hide my religion. If asked, I will calmly assert my belief of disbelief. But unless I'm in a debate meeting, I typically wont bring up the topic just to assert my belief and my reasons.

Why does Atheism not provide any answer to the bigger questions?
Why we here? What happens after we die? What is the meaning of life?
It does really:
1 & 3 (I'll get to 2 in a moment)- both of these are under the assumption their is an intelligence behind life, a driving force pushing us in a direction of an ultimate goal. Atheism tells us their is no god, no driving force behind our existence and therefore, their is no reason. Every time a women chooses to have a child, their is always, ALWAYS a risk she could die. You cannot force the decision of wether or not to risk your life for another. This would be increased even more by the fact if it was illegal, they would seek...

Why do Americans hate Socialism so?
I can't speak for all American's but I dislike socialism because it's an unfair system that would eventually turn everyone in it into unmotivated bums. Say someone of middle class earns about 70,000 a year. Then the government takes 35,000 from him and distributes it to those who fall below a minimum income level of say 1,000 a year. Now granted some who fall below the 1,000 minimum are hard...

Are there ANY Atheist ABers who are willing to publicly say, "There's a possibility that I really MIGHT be wrong."? (Usually what I hear is, "I can't ever be wrong, about Gawd.")
Of course I could be wrong! Just because their is no evidence for something, dosen't mean their never will be. Their is always the possibility for what I know to change based on new evidence. Naturally, It's one of the biggest events in your life. Death itself dosen't bother me, my only real wish is for the dying part not to be too painful. The government is not enforcing it on the bias of helping some particular religion, it's enforcing it because it is constitutional law. It dosen't help any religion in any way.

What are some good ways to annoy people at Walmart?
Well, one of my close friends told me about how his brother and his friend, who are about 17, would always go into Walmart and mess with the prices and shelfing to annoy the employees. However, the big thing they did is one day, they got a hold of one of those call/annoucement phones that are attached to poles in random places throughout the store. They then anounced, "Attention shopers,...

All you ABers that claim yourselves atheist...did you exchange gifts this Christmas?
Yes, Christmas is a wonderful holiday. I don't see it as a religious holidays because it's become widely secular to most people anyway, and It was originally a Pagen holiday to celebrate the plenty of the year, and was adopted by Catholics because they needed a day to celebate the birthday of their messiah. It's actually likely Jesus was born some time in June.

How many fistfights have you witnessed in your lifetime? What was the best/ most memorable one?
Thus far, I saw a memorible one on the football field a school between classes.Typical two guy fist fight except it was a race thing (one was black and one white) apparently. Some slurs had been exchanged and it led to the fight. What made it memorible was when Rico, the BIG black guy(about 6ft. and he's only a freshmen like me), missed and punched a girl from the crowd square in the face....

For those who are atheists, how did you come to the conclusion that there is no God? Was it something you found out by research?
I was a hardcore christian for quite awhile until I developed an extreme intrest in all branches of science. Naturally, my religious views eventually were at odds with the scientific ones so I set them together and compared what I knew and found out about them. After some self searching and research, I found the whole idea of religion pretty stupid. No evidence, no reason, contradictions...

Why is it still considered socially acceptable in the US to descriminate against Atheists?
Because we make up a minority of about 10%, and the theistic 90% have some pretty extreme people who think anyone who dosen't believe in their skydaddy should be ridiculed, (shun, shun the non believer and all that). So people tend to listen to whatever their pope, preacher, messiah, prophet, storybook(The Bible), ect. says to do. And since the government frowns on public stonnings...

Why does it seem that Atheists are expected to back up their beliefs with proof that God doesn't exist? Doesn't it seem more logical that the burden of proof rest with the believers?
Yes, it certianly is more logical for theists to back up their belief because they make the enormous claim. However, their are so many misconsceptions about what atheists think that people often misunderstand their position, and think they all have an alternative to the theist's idea and are also making a claim about the big questions. therefore, they also would have to credit their case...

Some dispute Darwin's theory about our nature to kill, on the grounds that if this is true, then why do we need military training? (Despite that people don't need it to kill others.) What do you think?
We are all born with the natural ability to kill. It's crucial for our survival. Military training dosen't teach us how to kill. It hones our abilities to do so.

I used to go to hell. Sorry, but no theist will be able to prove scientificly the existence of a God. If a God was to exist, then he would exist outside the rules of our reality and therefore couldn't be applied to the scientific method. It's simply not possible.

Because since we aren,t alowed to tap into our own huge oil supplies,we have to buy it from other countries which raise the price if they have monoploy on us and their gets to be less. The price to buy oil from the producers goes up,then the price at the pump gets raised to compensate for the same turnout for those who sell it to the public.

If Jesus would have died on the cross and yet not shed one drop of His blood, would we still be able to be redeemed? Would God's work be complete with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection minus the literal, liquid, shed blood of Jesus Christ His Son?
Hypothetically speaking, if God was real and if Jesus was the Son, then certainly sinners would still have been redeemed.Jesus would still have died and therefore, according to biblical teachings, this would have saved everyone whether or not he did or didn't bleed, which in retrospect, would seem even more god-like if he didn't bleed while dying.
