About me:	SEPTEMBER, 2007 = The International LIbrary of Poetry ~ 'EDITOR'S CHOICE AWAR'D' for my poem: ©'IT WAS SOMETHING' by Marlene Moon, Honolulu, HI There once was a man who saw black and white who dared hope for a technicolor wife He searched high and low pacing 'round for years He did not know she would answer his prayers Multiple magic colors of many hues was she this woman made in Heaven happily meant for he At last, they together Oh ... a rainbow of tones from sun up to sun down their hearts became home Technicolor replaced a black and white style in full prisms glory they now always smiled One Flesh! they would cry in passionate embrace for now they were one their destiny turned fate! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My heart felt belief: There is nothing more precious that Life itself. Happiness and security is never found in someone else, it is purely created by the spirit and mind of the individual. It is a privelege to even be allowed to love another human being and that being loved by another is a nothing short of a gift, never to be taken for granted. Celebration in differences and sameness itself leads to our understanding: our common, very human, universal experience. While each of us is truly rare and a one-of-a-kind individual, never to be repeated, we are ONE! Live A Life Worth Living!
