It depends on the client and how much the client has to work on the design. It also depends on the complexity of the project. Obviously asking for a business card will have a quicker turn around than an entire letterhead set.

I make a point of not reading anything to do with celebrities, so I'm actually in pretty good shape. I find that it prevents me from enjoying their work if I know too much about who they actually are. I'll never get sick of seeing his moonwalk. :)

Do your experimenting in larger groups, that way you are less likely to leave food because there is usually someone there that'll like what you ordered. Or you could just go and eat when it's not all you can eat. That way you can eat what you want, and leave what you don't like....

There is no way to guess what the numbers are going to be if it is truly random. If you control the choosing of the numbers you can easily guess them by adding a different texture to the 6 numbers that you want. That way you can just search around until you get the predetermined selection. But...
